        Environmental Effects and Output-Only Model Identification of Continuous Bridge Response

        Studying the response of bridge due to temperature effects is the main aim of this paper. The Fu-Sui bridge is constructed on a hard environmental effect region in China. To evaluate and assessment the behavior of this bridge, a finite element model and Structural Health Monitoring System (SHM) are used. In addition, the output only model identification is used to assess the thermal response and displacement of bridge. The results of the finite element and monitoring system reveal to that the behavior of the bridge after the first working year is safe, but over a long time period the low temperatures will have an effect on the behavior of the bridge, especially for the upper girder monitoring points. The thermal response and displacement output of the model used conforms with the SHM measurements. Also, the models calculated can be used to detect the bridge behavior in future time monitoring.

        Modeling and Prediction of Common Mode Electromagnetic Interference in GaN-Based Switching Power Converters

        Behavioral models of common mode (CM) electromagnetic interference (EMI) are proposed herein for a GaN high-electron-mobility transistor (HEMT) synchronous buck converter. First, a CM noise model is developed using a linear equivalent circuit that consists of a voltage source, current source, and two noise impedances. The behavioral parameters of the CM model are then extracted by changing the input-side shunt impedances. A GaN HEMT buck converter setup is then built using switching frequencies of 100 kHz, 200 kHz, and 500 kHz to verify the validity of the CM EMI behavioral model. A comparison between the experimental and predicted results indicated that the proposed CM EMI model of GaN-based power converters was able to predict well the CM EMI current in the 150 kHz–30 MHz frequency range.

        The Functional Roles of Lactobacillus acidophilus in Different Physiological and Pathological Processes

        Probiotics are live microorganisms that can be consumed by humans in amounts sufficient to offer health-promoting effects. Owing to their various biological functions, probiotics are widely used in biological engineering, industry and agriculture, food safety, and the life and health fields. Lactobacillus acidophilus (L. acidophilus), an important human intestinal probiotic, was originally isolated from the human gastrointestinal tract and its functions have been widely studied ever since it was named in 1900. L. acidophilus has been found to play important roles in many aspects of human health. Due to its good resistance against acid and bile salts, it has broad application prospects in functional, edible probiotic preparations. In this review, we explore the basic characteristics and biological functions of L. acidophilus based on the research progress made thus far worldwide. Various problems to be solved regarding the applications of probiotic products and their future development are also discussed.

        Study on grinding mechanism and machining technology of Si3N4 ceramic spindle

        In order to improve the machining accuracy of the cylindrical surface of silicon nitride ceramic spindle, the machining technologyof the cylindrical surface of ceramic spindle was studied by high-speed universal cylindrical grinder in this experiment. Firstly, the primary and secondary order of the influence of various factors on the surface roughness of ceramic spindleis determined by orthogonal experiment, then the influence law of single grinding parameter on the surface roughness ofceramic spindle is explored by single factor experiment, and the prediction model of the grinding surface roughness value ofceramic spindle is calculated by numerical analysis software, and finally the optimal processing parameters of the cylindricalsurface of ceramic spindle are obtained. The experimental results show that the grinding surface roughness of silicon nitrideceramic spindle first decreases and then increases with the increase of grinding wheel linear speed and workpiece linearspeed, and then increases with the increase of transverse feed speed and axial feed speed. The relative error between the predictedvalue of the prediction model and the actual measured value is less than 5%, which shows that the prediction modelhas a good prediction effect and provides a theoretical basis for actual machining

        In silico genome wide identification and expression analysis of the WUSCHEL-related homeobox gene family in Medicago sativa

        Alfalfa (Medicago sativa) is an important food and feed crop which rich in mineral sources. The WUSCHEL-related homeobox (WOX) gene family plays important roles in plant development and identification of putative gene families, their structure, and potential functions is a primary step for not only understanding the genetic mechanisms behind various biological process but also for genetic improvement. A variety of computational tools, including MAFFT, HMMER, hidden Markov models, Pfam, SMART, MEGA, ProtTest, BLASTn, and BRAD, among others, were used. We identified 34 MsWOX genes based on a systematic analysis of the alfalfa plant genome spread in eight chromosomes. This is an expansion of the gene family which we attribute to observed chromosomal duplications. Sequence alignment analysis revealed 61 conserved proteins containing a homeodomain. Phylogenetic study sung reveal five evolutionary clades with 15 motif distributions. Gene structure analysis reveals various exon, intron, and untranslated structures which are consistent in genes from similar clades. Functional analysis prediction of promoter regions reveals various transcription binding sites containing key growth, development, and stress-responsive transcription factor families such as MYB, ERF, AP2, and NAC which are spread across the genes. Most of the genes are predicted to be in the nucleus. Also, there are duplication events in some genes which explain the expansion of the family. The present research provides a clue on the potential roles of MsWOX family genes that will be useful for further understanding their functional roles in alfalfa plants.

        Multiple Filters-based Output Feedback Fault-tolerant Control for a Class of Uncertain Nonlinear Systems With Event-triggered Mechanism

        In this paper, a class of nonlinear systems with sensor faults and uncertainty problem are considered. The proposed control scheme is designed based on backstepping procedure. Additionally, three classes of filters are introduced, a serious of K-filters and an auxiliary filter are used to deal with the unmeasurable system states, and the command filters are adopted to avoid the “differential explosion” problem in backstepping design. Furthermore, the bound estimation method is adopted to estimate the unknown system parameters, partial loss fault of sensor and the upper bound of unknown nonlinear functions. Meanwhile, the proposed scheme reduces the amount of calculations in the controller design and and plays a certain role in saving network resources. Even when the sensor fails, the proposed scheme can ensure that all the signals in the closed-loop system are uniformly and ultimately bounded. Finally, a single-link robot arm example is simulated to show the feasibility of the proposed scheme.

        成渝双城经济圈作为国家重要的协同发展战略, 对成渝地区教育、人才培养发展、人才联育方面, 提供了历史性的机遇, 人才作为社会、国家重要的发展动力, 对于实现民族振兴、赢得国际竞争主动权的战略资源具有重要作用。本文立足于成渝双城经济圈政策实行的大背景下, 深入探讨实现人才创新发展的路径与基础, 在切实分析成渝双城经济圈高校人才培养模式现状后, 通过结合成渝地区重点高校报告和相关数据进行比较研究, 提出所面临的缺陷与不足等相关问题的合理可行的建议。 As an important national cooperative development strategy, Chengdu Chongqing double city economic circle provides a historic opportunity for education, talent training and development, and Talent Association in Chengdu-Chongqing area. As an important driving force for social and national development, talent plays an important role in realizing national revitalization and winning the strategic resources of international competition initiative. Based on the background of the implementation of the policy of Chengdu Chongqing double city economic circle, this paper deeply explores the path and basis for the development of talent innovation. After the actual analysis of the current situation of the talent training mode in Chengdu Chongqing double city economic circle, through the comparison of the report of key universities in Chengdu-Chongqing area and related data, it puts forward reasonable and feasible suggestions on the defects and deficiencies faced and other related issues.

        Adaptive Neural Tracking Control of Full-state Constrained Nonstrict-feedback Time-delay Systems with Input Saturation

        In this study, an adaptive neural backstepping control scheme is proposed for a class of nonstrict-feedback time-delay systems with input saturation, full-state constraints and unknown disturbances. A structural property of radial basis function neural network is presented to deal with the design from the nonstrict-feedback formation. This method does not require the parameter separation technique and its assumption. With the help of the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals and Young’s inequalities, the effects of time delays are compensated, and the unknown disturbances are eliminated in the design process. The barrier Lyapunov function (BLF) is applied to arrest the violation of the full-state constraints. To overcome the problem of input saturation nonlinearity, the smooth nonaffine function of the control input signal is adopted to approach the input saturation function. Moreover, an adaptive backstepping neural control strategy is proposed. The proposed adaptive neural controller ensures that all the closed-loop signals are semi-globally uniformly ultimately bounded (SGUUB). Furthermore, the tracking error can converge to a small neighborhood of the origin. The simulation result shows the effectiveness of this method.

        Adaptive Fractional-order Unscented Kalman Filters for Nonlinear Fractional-order Systems

        In this paper, the Gruwald-Letnikov method is used to discretize a continuous-time nonlinear fractional-order system with unknown parameters and fractional-order, and an adaptive fractional-order unscented Kalman filter is proposed. Taking the unknown fractional-order and parameters as the augmented states, the augmented state equation is established to solve the problem on the unknown fractional-order and parameters. In order to improve the accuracy of state estimation, an adaptive fractional-order unscented Kalman filter is designed to deal with the nonlinear functions by using the unscented transformation. Meanwhile, the problem on state estimation for the estimated system with a non-differentiable nonlinear functions is also solved. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is verified by two simulation examples.

      • Joint Replenishment and Delivery Problem with Resource Constraint for Deteriorating Item

        The joint replenishment and delivery model with deterministic resource restriction for deteriorating item is developed. The model is formulated as cost minimization problem, including the ordering cost, the inventory holding cost, the transportation cost, the customer waiting cost and the deterioration cost. Differential evolution (DE) algorithm is proposed to solve the model. Numerical illustrations of the model and algorithm are presented and the sensitivity analysis with respect to deterioration rate of item is performed. The comparison between DE and genetic algorithm (GA) for solving the model are also made.
