80,000 G/T급 크루즈선이 입항할 수 있는 터미널을 계획하고 있는 제주신항에 대하여 자연ㆍ환경 조건 및 방파제 등의 구조물 등을 고려하여 선박조종시뮬레이션을 실시하여 입ㆍ출항 및 접ㆍ이안의 안전성을 평가하고자 한다. 안전성 평가는 항로경계의 침범여부, 구조물과의 최근접거리, 선박조종자의 주관적 평가를 통계적으로 해석하는 방법을 이용하였다. In accordance with the development plans of Jeju for international free city, Jeju new harbor will be constructed cosidering supporting Jeju city as an international tour city, safe arrival and departure at the terminal of 80,000G/T cruise ship. In this study, we used a lull-mission ship handling simulator adopting 80,000 G/T cruise ship manoeuvered at the planned Jeju international cruise terminal. Five masters who have had a long experience of ship maneuvering were called to carry out the simulations, of which No. 1, No. 2 and No. 4 scenario of simulation were tried twice, completed the total of 10 times and No. 3 scenario of simulation once, reached at the total of 5 times. The marine traffic safety was assessed in terms of 1) the closest point of approach(CPA) to breakwater and quay in the vicinity and the probability of crossing fairway limit, 2) subjective evaluation such as the mental burden and the maneuvering disfficulty of shiphanders, and 3) the opinions of shiphandlers. From the result of this simulation, we have a conclusion that the 80,000 G/T cruise ship can be maneuvered safely at the planned terminal.
항해 안전관련 시설 원격 감시 및 제어모듈의 개발에 관한 연구

본 연구에서는, 모든 유ㆍ무인등대와 등ㆍ부표를 원격으로 감시하고 제어하기 위한 항로표지 집약관리센터를 구축하기 위한 기반여건 조성작업의 일환으로써, 장비 및 그 지리적인 특수성 때문에 유지ㆍ관리에 있어서 기술적 경제적 어려움이 많은 무인 항해 안전관련 시설에 대하여, 상태 확인 및 관리ㆍ제어는 물론, 정비시기의 예측 등 장비의 운영상태를 최고의 상태로 유지할 수 있도록 하는 모듈의 개발에 관하여 논하였으며, 본 연구에서 개발한 모듈을 활용한다면 보다 과학적이고 효율적인 항로표지의 설치, 관리, 운영 및 유지ㆍ보수가 가능할 것이다. Is is said to be very difficult to maintain the aids to maintain the aids to navigation such as buoys and lighthouses due to their geographical characteristics. This paper, as a part task of the construction of aids to navigation control center, describes the method to make the module for remote-controlling lighthouses and buoys. We become to be able not only to get informations such as the conditions of lights and batteries, but also to control remotely the aids to navigation by using microwaves so as to maintain them in good condition.
화이버레이저를 이용한 조선용 STS316L의 용접시 용접부에 미치는 용접변수의 영향

Stainless steel is widely used for construction, maufacturing and ship building as well as living goods. The Welding using laser has low heat input and rapid processing is possible. So it is expected that the laser welding can be used for the ultra violet LED which has been developing to sterilize ballast tank, and increase the productivity of ship building. These process have to be carried out within ship inside. Therefore, basic researches for welding of stainless steel using fiber laser which is possible to be miniaturized are needed. In welding of 8t 316L stainless steel using fiber laser, the penetration depth is greatly depend on laser power rather than welding speed. When only the welding speed is low, the laser power has huge effect on bead width.
아연코팅 강판의 CO<sub>2</sub> 레이저용접시 인프로세스 모니터링을 위한 측정신호와 용접결함과의 관련성 연구

본 연구에서는 조선용 6mm 아연코팅강판의 $CO_2$ 레이저 겹치기 용접시 발생하는 유기 플라즈마를 마이크로폰과 포토다이오드로 측정하였다. 이때 겹치기 갭간극에 따른 용접조건을 RMS한 신호와 비교 분석하였다. 이를 통해 아연증발량이 증가함에 따라 RMS값도 증가하였으며, 겹침부의 조건에 따라 결함 발생시 RMS의 급격한 변화도 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 용접조건에 따른 Raw signal의 FFT값을 구한 후, 이때 구해진 주파수값을 밴드폭으로 설정하여 Raw signal을 필터링한 뒤의 RMS값을 용접비드와 대응하여 필터링하지 않은 RMS와의 차이점도 비교 분석하였다. 이를 통해 기존의 방법들보다 신뢰성 높은 In-process 모니터링이 가능함을 확인하였다. In this study, the plasma induced by $CO_2$ laser lap welding of 6t Zn coated steel used for ship building was measured using photodiodes and a microphone. Then, the welding phenomenon with gap clearance of lap joint was compared with RMS-treated signal. Thus, we found that intensity of the RMS-treated signal increased with Zn vaporization; further, the presence of defects results in rapid variations with the RMS value as a function of lap-joint parameters. Besides, the FFT value of the raw signal with variations of changing welding parameters was calculated, and then the calculated FFT frequency value was set as the bandwidth of digital filter for a more accurate in-process monitoring. The RMS values were acquired by filtering the raw signal. By matching the weld beads and the calculated RMS values, we confirmed that there is a strong relationship between the signals and the defects.
일체형 Steering Gear Housing의 제조를 위한 전용시스템 개발에 관한 연구

The purpose of this paper was a development of dedicated system to produce modular monolithic steering gear housing for automobile. In order to produce a monolithic steering gear housing, we used CMT and CW Nd:YAG laser for heat sources and succeeded tracking the complex welding trajectory by using tow robots. The dedicated system based on robot was developed and this system made it possible to weld a housing by one-pass. Besides, the weldment of produced monolithic steering gear housing was presented sound bead and measured roundness was ±9/100.

Fiber laser is a heat source which is introduced recently, and so has a little researched data compare with conventional laser processing. Moreover basic data for welding monitoring are also insufficient. Therefore, in this study, the change of signal with measuring position and angle of plasma emission signals were analysed as a basic experiment for real time monitoring in fiber laser welding. As a result, the signals measured from the side, front and rear had the biggest intensity at $60^{\circ}$, and frequency peak to reflect the behavior of keyhole and swing of plasma by shield gas was detected at $45{\sim}60^{\circ}$. However, both intensity of signal and the result of FFT for monitoring were satisfied at the angle of $45^{\circ}$ from the side.

Several full mission simulators have been installed since about 10 years ago in Korea. The newly estabHshed Marine Simulation Training and Research Center at Korea Maritime University has played a key role for education and training of both cadets and in-service officers trainees, and for research on Korea ports such as Jeju international cruise port, Ulsan SBM and Kwangyang container port and many others. This study mainly focuses maritime education and training on the ship handling simulation and the bridge resource management conducted by Korea Maritime University.

Recently, welding technology of nonferrous metals which were difficult to implement by arc welder has become available through digitalization of arc welding machine. Among them, the welding quality improvement of aluminum welding is very noticeable. These results increase the arc stability by controlling arc current and voltage waveform precisely, and control wire feed speed by synchronizing with arc current which the feed rate of filler wire is controlled by a precise motor control of servomotor and not by a simple constant speed feeding. Not only through the hardware digitalization of arc welding machine but also through advance of software of arc welding, it became possible to implement a certain level of welding quality by a simple operation. These led to CMT welding process implementation which requires low heat input than current arc welding and highly increased the applicability of the aluminum welding.
