The genus Ypsolopha Latreille is the largest taxa in Ypsolophidae, comprising over 140 species worldwide. More than 100 species have been described from the Palaearctic and Oriental Regions. In Korea, 10 species have been listed by Byun et al. (2009), and recently 3 new recorded species were reported by Sohn (2010). Ypsolopha species have been known feeding on conifers and dicotyledonous plants. But studying of host plants is still not discovered thoroughly. In the present study, I carried out to breed larvae ofYpsolophid moth based on Japanese study in a laboratory. And reported one newly recorded species from Korea. Also, we provide description of adult, pictures of adults genitalia and a checklist of host plants is also provided.
Missile Radome Error Compensation Using Modified Interacting Multiple Model Kalman Filter
Seul-Ki Han,Sejoon Ahn,Won-Sang Ra,Jin Bae Park 제어로봇시스템학회 2014 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2014 No.10
This paper addresses the compensation problem of the missile radome aberration error using the interacting multiple model (IMM) algorithm. To compensate the radome error, the proposed method estimates the radome slope by applying the modified IMM algorithm. In the proposed approach, the mode probability update in the IMM algorithm is redefined for improving performance of the radome slope estimation by reflecting the recent tendency of the radome slope hypotheses. This is enabled by utilizing the new weighting function including previous information of likelihood function and mode probability during certain period. Besides, by designating boresight error and LOS rate as the state for the system model, the linear estimation technique is used instead of the nonlinear estimation method. Therefore, the proposed method is suitable for the real-time implementation due to the linear filter structure. Through the simulation results on the typical engagement missile-target scenario, the reliability and performance of the proposed radome slope estimator is evaluated.

An electrochemically-modified electrode [P(EDOP-SWNTs)/GCE] was prepared by electropolymerization of 3,4-ethylenedioxy pyrrole (EDOP) single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) on the surface of a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) and characterized by SEM, CV, and DPV. This modified electrode was employed as an electrochemical biosensor for the selective determination of serotonin concentrations at pH 7.4 and exhibited a typical enhanced effect on the current response of serotonin with a lower oxidation overpotential. The linear response was in the range of 1.0 × 10^(−7) to 1.0 × 10^(−5) M, with a correlation coefficient of 0.998 on the anodic current. The lower detection limit was calculated as 5.0 nM. Due to the relatively low currents and difference of potentials in the electrochemical responses of uric acid (UA), ascorbic acid (AA), and dopamine (DA), the modified electrode was a useful and effective sensing device for the selective and sensitive serotonin determination in the presence of UA, AA, and DA.
Practical Direction of Arrival Estimator using Constrained Robust Kalman Filtering
Seul-Ki Han,Won-Sang Ra,Jin Bae Park 제어로봇시스템학회 2013 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2013 No.10
This paper proposes a linear estimation theory based direction of arrival (DOA) estimator to guarantee highperformance and computational efficiency. To do this, state-space system is derived from the linear prediction relation of the sinusoidal acoustic signal. Since it contains uncertain measurement matrix, the recently developed non-conservative robust Kalman filter (NCRKF) can be applied to compensate the performance degradation by the uncertain measurement matrix. However, unfortunately, the statistical information used in NCRKF scheme may not be precise in actual situation and it leads to the performance degradation. Therefore, in this paper, constrained NCRKF (CNCRKF) is presented to develop practical DOA estimator. It adopts constraint condition derived from the relation between target states to solve the performance degradation problem by the incorrect statistical information. The performance of the proposed solution is demonstrated by the computer simulation.
Longitudinal Stress Fracture of the Ulna: Forearm Splint in a Military Cook With Wok Pot Use
Bae Jiwon,Lee Seul Ki,Kim Jee-Young,Kim Jun-Ho 대한자기공명의과학회 2023 Investigative Magnetic Resonance Imaging Vol.27 No.3
Stress fractures of the upper extremities are rare. Here we report the case of a 20-year old man who presented with left forearm pain for 6 weeks. He worked as a military cook and used a wok pot. Plain radiography showed periosteal reaction with cortical thickening at the midportion of the ulnar shaft without a transverse fracture line. Magnetic resonance imaging showed diffuse bone marrow edema along the ulnar shaft. Segmental cortical thickening with periosteal edema was observed on the volar side of the midshaft of the ulna. Although a typical transverse fracture line was not clearly visible, T2-hyperintense curvilinear foci were observed within the cortical thickening. Coronal T1-weighted enhanced imaging demonstrated an obliquely elongated abnormality within the cortical thickening. A longitudinal stress fracture of the ulna, of the intracortical subtype, was diagnosed. Follow-up plain radiography and computed tomography confirmed an ongoing solid union after plaster cast application. The non-neutral posture while using a straighthandled wok for flipping and repeated action likely caused cumulative trauma to the patient’s upper extremity. Clinical history taking and imaging studies using cross-sectional images may facilitate the early and accurate diagnosis of an unusual pattern of ulnar stress fracture.
