      • Evaluation of Irreversible Cs Adsorption Capacity of Granite Origin Soil

        Various radionuclides are released and contaminate soils by the nuclear accidents, nuclear tests and disposal of radioactive waste. Among radionuclides, 137Cs is a harmful radioactive element that emits high-energy β particles and γ rays with a half-life of 30.2 years. 137Cs is difficult to extract because it is fixed to soil particles. For the volume reduction technology development of contaminated soil, this study tried to evaluate the irreversible Cs adsorption capacity of granite-originated soil. The soil sample used in the study was collected from C horizon of the soil developed in Mesozoic mica granite. The soil texture, mineralogy, organic content, pH, EC, cation exchange capacity (CEC), water-soluble cation and anion content of the soil samples were determined. A kinetic adsorption experiment and an isotherm adsorption experiment were performed to understand the overall Cs adsorption characteristics using 133Cs. The desorption of Cs by 0.1 mM KCl was also tested for the sample spiked with 133Cs and 137Cs. The soil sample showed a pH of 6.73, EC of 24.50 μS cm-1, and CEC of 1.34 cmolc kg-1, organic matter of 0.53% and sandy loam in texture. Quartz, feldspar and mica were identified as the major mineral components of bulk sample. The clay fraction consists of mica, hydroxyl-interlayer vermiculite (HIV), vermiculite and kaolinite. In the kinetic adsorption experiment, the Cs adsorption showed fast adsorption rates at the initial stage (6 hours) regardless of the 133Cs concentration, and the adsorption equilibrium state was reached after 48 hours. It was the most suitable for the pseudo second-order model. The 133Cs adsorption increased nonlinearly from low to high concentration, which was well match with the dual site Langmuir model. As a result of the desorption experiment, desorption was not performed up to 1.1 mg kg-1 in the presence of competitive ions K+, which is about 0.035% of CEC calculated by the isotherm model. The adsorption of Cs was controlled by frayed edge sites (FES) at a low concentrations and by basal sites or interlayer sites at a high concentration. Irreversible Cs fixation of by FES may be contributed by mainly weathered mica, and when these minerals are separated from the granite origin soil, the possibility of reducing the contamination concentration and volume of radioactive soil waste can be expected.

        The Inhibition of Melanogenesis Via the PKA and ERK Signaling Pathways by Chlamydomonas reinhardtii Extract in B16F10 Melanoma Cells and Artificial Human Skin Equivalents

        Abnormal melanin synthesis results in several hyperpigmentary disorders such as freckles, melanoderma, age spots, and other related conditions. In this study, we investigated the antimelanogenic effects of an extract from the microalgae Chlamydomonas reinhardtii (CE) and potential mechanisms responsible for its inhibitory effect in B16F10, normal human epidermal melanocyte cells, and human skin-equivalent models. The CE extract showed significant dosedependent inhibitory effects on α-melanocyte-stimulating, hormone-induced melanin synthesis in cells. Additionally, the CE extract exhibited suppressive effects on the mRNA and protein expression of microphthalmia-associated transcription factor, tyrosinase, tyrosinaserelated protein-1, and tyrosinase-related protein-2. The CE extract also inhibited the phosphorylation of protein kinase A and extracellular signal-related kinase, which function as upstream regulators of melanogenesis. Using a three-dimensional, reconstructed pigmented epidermis model, the CE-mediated, anti-pigmentation effects were confirmed by Fontana- Masson staining and melanin content assays. Taken together, CE extract can be used as an anti-pigmentation agent.

        구체적 타자 이해 교육으로서 온작품 활용 도덕과 교육의 의의

        ‘구체적 타자’는 배려 윤리의 관계적 자아에 기반한 개념으로서 관계맺음의 대상을 구체적 상황과 맥락을 가진 정서적 존재로 여기는 관점이다. 본 연구는 도덕과 교육이 구체적 타자와의 관계맺음 경험을 제공할 수 있어야 한다고 주장하며, 온작품을 활용하여 그러한 경험을 제공할 수 있음을 보이고자 한다. 이를 위해 먼저 ‘구체적 타자’의 개념을 밝히고 구체적 타자 이해 교육의 필요성을 논의한다. 이를 바탕으로 하여 현행 도덕과 교육과정의 구체적 타자 이해 교육의 현황과 그에 대한 보완점을 살펴보고, 온작품을 통해 구체적 타자를 드러내고자 시도한 학자들의 논의를 살펴보고자 한다. 이를 통해 온작품을 활용한 도덕 교육이 구체적 타자를 이해하고 구체적 타자와 바람직한 관계맺음을 지향하는 도덕과 교육에 갖는 의의를 밝히고자 한다. 또한 연구의 제언을 통해 온작품과 관련한 다양한 교육 자료 및 수업 모델에 대한 후속 연구가 필요함을 주장한다. The ‘concrete other’ is a concept based on the relational self of the caring ethic, and it is a viewpoint that regards the poeple in relationship as an emotional being with a specific history. This study asserts that morality and education should be able to provide experiences of establishing relationships with concrete others, and intends to show that such experiences can be provided by using ‘whole work’. To this end, we first discuss the conceptual understanding of the concrete other and the necessity of education to understand the concrete other. Based on this, I would like to examine the current status and supplementary points of education to understand the concrete other in the current moral education, and examine the discussion of scholars who tried to reveal the concrete other through the whole works. Through this, it will show the significance of moral education using whole works as an education and establish relationships with concrete others. This study also suggests a further need for a series of studies on various educational reference and instructional models related to whole work.

        놀이 중심 바른생활 교육의 필요성과 방향 : 바른생활 놀이·활동 중심 수업 지원 자료 개발 연구에 대한 설문을 중심으로

        본 연구의 목적은 『2020 초등학교 1-2학년 놀이·활동 중심 수업 지원 자료 개발: 바른 생활』연구의 개발 자료에 대한 설문을 바탕으로 놀이 중심 바른생활 교육의 필요성과 방향을 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위해 먼저 바른생활 교과 성격과 방향을 탐색하고, 놀이 교육에 대한 이론적 배경을 제시하고자 하였다. 또한 연구 개발 자료의 개관을 요약하여 제시하고, 개발 자료에 대한 적합성과 유용성, 만족도를 살펴보고 설문의 정당성을 확보하고자 하였다. 설문 결과를 통해 도출한 바른생활 놀이 교육의 시사점은 첫째, 놀이 중심 바른생활 교육을 통해 학습자 중심의 바른생활 교육을 기대할 수 있다는 것이다. 둘째, 놀이 중심 바른생활 교육의 계획이 현장 적합성을 고려하여 교육과정 연계성을 강화하는 방향으로 논의되어야 한다는 것이다. 셋째, 놀이 중심 바른생활 교육에 대한 교사 대상 연수를 통해 교사의 놀이 교육 전문성을 향상시킬 수 있어야 한다는 것이다. 놀이 중심의 바른생활 교육은 인지, 정의, 행동의 발달을 도모하는 바른생활 교과의 학습자 중심성을 강화시켜, 보다 효과적인 전인교육이 가능하도록 할 것이다. 또한 놀이 중심 바른생활 교육을 통해 놀이 중심 인성 교육, 놀이 중심 도덕 교육으로의 확장을 기대할 수 있을 것이다. The purpose of this study is to suggest the direction of ‘Disciplined Life’ Education Centered on Play & Activities based on the survey on the development data of the 『2020, Study for Elementary School 1st-2nd Grade, Centered on Play & Activity Education: Disciplined Life』. To this end, the goal and direction of ‘Disciplined Life’ were explored, and the theoretical background for play & activity education was presented. In addition, an overview of the research and development data was presented as a summary, and the validity and reliability of the developed data were verified to secure the validity of the questionnaire. Implications of ‘Disciplined Life’ play & activity derived from the survey results are that first, learner-centered ‘Disciplined Life’ education can be realized through play and activity-centered ‘Disciplined Life’ education. Second, the play & activity centered ‘Disciplined Life’ education plan should be discussed in the direction of reinforcing the linkage of the curriculum in consideration of school field suitability. Third, a re-education model for teachers on play & activitycentered education for ‘Disciplined Life’ should be planned and operated. It can be expected that the ‘Disciplined Life’ education centered on play & activity will strengthen the learner-centeredness of the ‘Disciplined Life’ subject, which promotes the development of cognitive approach, affective approach, and behavior approach, so that more effective holistic education is possible. Through this study, it was intended to suggest the planning and implementation of ‘Disciplined Life’ curriculum that enables play & activity centered classes in line with the revised curriculum.

      • Investigation of electrolyte leaching in the performance degradation of phosphoric acid-doped polybenzimidazole membrane-based high temperature fuel cells

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Precise monitoring of electrolyte leaching in high-temperature polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell (HT-PEMFC) devices during lifetime tests is helpful in making a diagnosis of their quality changes and analyzing their electrochemical performance degradation. Here, we investigate electrolyte leaching in the performance degradation of phosphoric acid (PA)-doped polybenzimidazole (PBI) membrane-based HT-PEMFCs. We first perform quantitative analyses to measure PA leakage during cell operation by spectrophotometric means, and a higher PA leakage rate is detected when the current density is elevated in the cell. Second, long-term degradation tests under various current densities of the cells and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) analysis are performed to examine the influence of PA loss on the membrane and electrodes during cell performance degradation. The combined results indicate that PA leakage affect cell performance durability, mostly due to an increase in charge transfer resistance and a decrease in the electrochemical surface area (ECSA) of the electrodes. Additionally, a three-dimensional (3-D) HT-PEMFC model is applied to a real-scale experimental cell, and is successfully validated against the polarization curves measured during various long-term experiments. The simulation results highlight that the PA loss from the cathode catalyst layer (CL) is a significant contributor to overall performance degradation.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> The influences of electrolyte leakage on the performance of HT-PEMFC were studied. </LI> <LI> We evaluated PA leakage during the cell operation with a colorimetric detection. </LI> <LI> The higher PA leakage was observed at operation at elevated current densities. </LI> <LI> The PA loss from cell operation caused long-term performance degradation. </LI> <LI> The degradation mechanisms were investigated. </LI> </UL> </P>

        2022 개정 초등학교 도덕과 교육과정 개발 방향 탐구

        이 연구는 2022 개정 초등학교 도덕과 교육과정 개발을 위한 기초 탐구이다. 이번 개정 교육과정에서는 핵심 아이디어를 중심으로 내용체계를 구성하려 하기 때문에 지식의 구조와 이해 중심교육 과정에 따라 이에 대한 탐색을 하였는데 전이가가 높은 깊은 이해를 돕는 교과의 핵심내용으로 파악된다. 지난 교육과정 내용체계 구성요소를 변경하여 보다 역량 함양이 실효적으로 추진되도록 하려는 의도로 [지식ㆍ이해], [과정ㆍ기능], [가치ㆍ태도]로 제시하는 근거를 탐색하였다. 이러한 기본적인 탐구에 이어 2022 개정 초등학교 도덕과 교육과정에 대한 시안을 제안하고 있다. This research paper is a draft for the revised curriculum for moral education in elementary school. Now in the middle of developing and revising of it, through the curriculum theory of understanding by design it is focus on the big ideas that’s the key and general concepts, contents to transfer. If we educated by this big ideas, we could reduce the heavy burdens to study and cut off the subjects to learn in school. Furthermore this paper inquired the what’s the frame of content table in the coming curriculum. As important items of it, we pointed out the 3 dimension, knowledge. understanding, process. skills, values and attitude. we could get the some findings through this arranging. Mainly by the next curriculum it will be a thinking school and thinking moral education because the 3 dimension is supported by intellectual aspects. So we must carefully and clearly distinguish the different meaning of skills between the current moral education and revised 2022 curriculum. Anyway through our research paper, we hope for the productive results by triggering lot’s of active discussion.

      • Synthesis of Vertically Conformal ZnO/CuO Core–Shell Nanowire Arrays by Electrophoresis-Assisted Electroless Deposition

        <P>Vertically conformal ZnO/CuO core–shell nanowire (NW) arrays with high aspect ratios were synthesized by electrophoresis-assisted electroless deposition (EAELD) of CuO onto preformed ZnO NWs. Using this method, conformal CuO seeds were successfully formed on long ZnO NWs by the electrostatic attachment of colloidal Cu<SUB>2</SUB>O NPs under the solution and subsequent thermal oxidation. Using the CuO seeds, conformal CuO shell to core ZnO NWs were successfully fabricated by kinetic-limited deposition in the solution, which overcame the inherent diffusion limitations of conventional electroless deposition. This experimental evidence and thermodynamic modeling results are presented to validate the proposed EAELD mechanism.       • 당뇨병 발생 예측을 위한 다층 스태킹 앙상블 모델 구축 기법

        최근 현대인의 식습관 및 고령화로 인해 당뇨병 환자의 수가 연간 증가하고 있다. 따라서 현재는 아직 당뇨병이 발생하지 않았더라도 미래에 발생할 가능성 예측의 중요성이 커지고 있다. 기존의 당뇨병 발생 여부 진단 연구는 회귀 분석과 같은 단일 모델을 사용하여 수행된다. 그러나 당뇨병에 영향을 미치는 변수들은 복잡하게 얽혀있어 단일 모델만으로는 패턴을 충분히 학습하기 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 데이터에 적합하게 자동으로 다층 스태킹 앙상블 모델을 구성하는 알고리즘을 이용한 다층 스태킹 앙상블 모델을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법은 성능이 높은 모델들을 기준으로 층을 쌓으며 모델을 구성하며 실험 결과 다른 자동 기계학습 라이브러리와 비교해 F1 score 기준으로 최대 12.89%p의 성능 향상을 보였다.
