      • 다영역작전(MDO)에 대한 고찰과 한반도 작전전구(KTO)에서의 적용 방향

        This study deals with what is Multi -Domain Operations(MDO) concept which is main debate topic for US Army, and how to apply this concept in Korea Theater Operation(KTO). For the study, firstly, we explored what kind of theory is behind MDO and studied primary focus on future oriented operation environment for the concept, enemy threat and required capability and core concept to resolve the theory. Based on the above, we looked at the concept to incorporate within Korean operational environment(geographical nature, North Korea threat, and alliance etc) and suggested a way to apply this concept in KTO. First, we approached an applicability for MDO in regard to operational environment and enemy threat aspect. Respect to Korean theater’s geographical aspect, which is close confrontation of the military on both sides, MDO is more relevant to include rapid consolidation and concentration of the forces. In regard to incorporate major concept, it can be included in MDO operation based on cross domain synergy effect. In MDO concept(competition-penetrate-disintegrate-exploit-return to competition), it needs further study to incorporate KTO characteristics in competition and penetration phase. Consolidation for MDO is to provide basic cross domain synergy effect and multi layered option. We looked at a way in joint function aspect to cross domain synergy effect, and with various methods are enabled for stimulate-search-attack/reattack for major enemy targets with incorporation of multi layered options, we concluded that it will cause dillema for enemy and neutralize enemy’s decision making process. Generally speaking, it is obvious that there are certain differences between operational environment and enemy threat for US military for MDO and required capability for ROK military. However, ROK-US combined defense system is core of Korea defense for present and future, and the ROK military should lead ROK defense after the completion of wartime operation control transfer. In consideration of all those, we should have full understanding of US military developed concept and anticipative study on how to apply and develop the concept for Korea theater. From this study, we are expecting further study on Korean-military-led operation concept development under combined defense system, and applying operation concept development to encounter potential threat from neighboring countries.

        국내 결핵관리지침에 따른 군내 결핵 집단발병 관리 사례 보고

        Background: Korean national guidelines for examining contacts with active pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) are a tuberculin skin test (TST) and chest radiographs. The treatment of a latent TB infection as performed only in those younger than six years of age who test positive for TST. Although there is a high incidence of active TB in young Korean soldiers, the current national guidelines for controlling contacts with active TB in soldiers are insufficient. This study highlights the problems with the Korean guidelines for controlling a TB outbreak in a small military unit. Material and Methods: In December of 2005, there was a tuberculosis outbreak in a military unit with a total of 464 soldiers in Kyung Gi province. The chest radiographs were taken of all the soldiers, and TST were carried out on 408 candidates. Results: In the first screening of the chest radiographs, two active TB patients were detected. By August of 2006, four additional cases were detected, making a total of six cases after the outbreak. All the patients showed active pulmonary TB or TB pleuritis. When the results of TST in the close contacts and non-close contacts were compared, there was a significant difference in the absolute size of the induration(9.70 ± 7.50mm vs. 6.26 ± 7.02mm, p<0.001) as well as the ratio of patients showing an induration > 10mm (50.0% vs. 32.0%, p<0.001) and 15mm (33.2% vs. 20.9%, p=0.005). Conclusion: Although the national guidelines for managing a TB outbreak in a military unit were followed, there were continuous instances of new active TB cases. This highlights the need for new guidelines to prevent the spread of TB. (Tuberc Respir Dis 2007; 62: 5-10)

      • V2X-LTE BASED AFTERMARKET SAFETY DEVICE FOR AUTONOMOUS VEHICLE

        자율주행차량의 차내센서 및 주행상태정보를 실시간으로 수집 가공하여 주변차량과 공유를 통해 안전주행이 가능하게 하고, 챠량의 동작불능으로인한 사고 또는 예기치 않은 교통사고등에 의해 연쇄사고위험이 감지된 경우 이를 LTE 또는 V2X를 통해 이를 전달하여 사고를 예방할 수 있도록 함과 동시에 ASD에 접속되어 있는 CAMERA영상데이터의 저장 및 교통안전센터에 전달함으로써 연쇄충돌 예방 및 사고처리시 원인분석등에 활용할 수 있는 V2X-LTE를 융합한 차량통신장치의 성능시험결과를 정리하였음. If risk of chained accident is detected due to an accident due to an inoperable or unexpected traffic accident etc., it is possible to make a safe driving by sharing with the surrounding vehicles, collecting and processing the sensor and driving state information of the autonomous driving vehicle in real time. This is accomplished by transferring it through LTE or V2X to prevent accidents. At the same time, it stores the CAMERA image data connected to ASD and transmits it to the traffic safety center. The result of the performance test of the vehicle communication device that combines the V2X-LTE that can be used for the prevention of the chain collision and the cause analysis at the accident handling is summarized.

        환경 외란을 고려한 다중 자율잠수정의 제한적 기법 기반 주행 계획기

        This paper proposes the qualitative method for planning the operation of multi-AUVs with environmental disturbances, which is considered to be a very difficult task. In this paper we use an extension collision map as a collision free motion planner. The tool was originally developed for the multiple ground vehicles with no internal/external disturbance. In order to apply the method to a water environment where there are tides and waves, and currents, we analyze the path deviation error of AUVs caused by external disturbances. And we calculate safety margin for the collision avoidance on the extension collision map. Finally, the simulation result proves that the suggested method in this paper make multi-AUVs navigate to the goal point effectively with no collision among them.

        환경이동혼잡조건을 고려한 자율무인잠수정의 이동경로생성 방법

        In order to make the underwater vehicle carry out the mission in a submarine environment, it is needed to plan a safe and efficient route to a given destination and prevent the autonomous submersible from colliding with obstacles while moving along the planned route. The function of collision avoidance makes the travel distance of the autonomous submersible longer. Moreover, it should move slowly near to obstacles against their moving disturbance. As a result, this invokes the degradation of the navigation efficiency in the process of collision avoidance. The side effect of the collision avoidance is not ignorable in the case of high congested environments such as the coast with many obstacles. In this paper, we suggest a path planning method which provides the route with minimum travel time considering collision avoidance in congested environment. For the purpose, we define environmental congestion map related to geometric information and obstacles. And we propose a method to consider the moving cost in the RRT scheme that provides the existing minimum distance path. We verified that the efficiency of our algorithm with simulation experiments.

        군집로봇의 협조 탐색을 위한 최적 영역 배치

        본 논문에서는 군집로봇의 효과적인 협조탐색을 위한 탐색영역에 대한 군집로봇의 최적배치을 제안한다. 먼저, 탐색영역에대한 최적의 배치를 위해 보로노이 테셀레이션과 K-mean 알고리즘을 이용하여 탐색영역을 분할한다. 분할된 영역을 안전한 주행을 위해 전역경로계획과 지역경로계획을 한다. 전역경로계획은 A*알고리즘을 이용하여 전역경로계획을 하여 최적의 전역경로를 찾고, 지역경로계획은 포텐셜 필드방법을 이용하여 장애물 회피 통해 안전하게 목표점에 이르게 한다. 마지막으로 제안한 알고리즘은 시물레이션을 통해 그 응용가능성을 검토한다. In this paper, we propose a optimal deployment method for cooperative exploration of swarm robots. The proposed method consists of two parts such as optimal deployment and path planning. The optimal area deployment is proposed by the K-mean Algorithm and Voronoi tessellation. The path planning is proposed by the potential field method and A* Algorithm. Finally, the numerical experiments demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method.

        군집 이동형 사회안전 로봇을 위한 효율적인 수색 알고리즘 개발

        In this paper, we aim at providing a novel sweeping method for multi-security mobile robots. The sweeping problem of the multi-robots can be modeled as the stick pulling problem in which the swarm robots should sweep unknown terrains in order to remove sticks collaboratively. For the purpose, we define a certain map, what is called stick map. And we suggest how to make swarm robots build up and utilize the map in order to improve the productivity of collaborative removing sticks. Finally, the efficiency of our algorithm is verified with simulation experiments.

        감성 조명장치의 소모 전력 절감을 위한 거리 측정 센서 기반 자동 조광 제어

        본 논문에서는 감성조명의 소모전력 절감을 위한 거리 측정 센서 기반 자동 조광 제어 시스템을 제안하고 구현한다. 지속적인 색상변화를 표현해야 하는 감성 조명에서의 소비 전력 절감을 위하여 초음파 센서를 이용한 사용자와의 지속적인 거리 측정 및 이를 통한 PWM Dimming 제어를 수행한다. 조명장치는 마이크로 컨트롤러, LED Driver, 초음파 센서, 통신모듈 등으로 구성되며, 초음파 센서를 통해 측정된 거리 정보를 PWM 신호에 적용하여 실시간 밝기 제어를 수행한다. 기존 조명에서의 에너지 절감 기법을 감성조명에 적용하여 사용자 부재 시 불필요한 전력 소모를 최소화하는 능동형 조명 시스템을 구현한다. In this paper, we propose and implement the automated brightness control system using distance measuring sensor for reducing the power consumption of emotional lighting device. In order to reduce the power consumption of emotional lighting devices which express continuous color changes, the proposed device measures the distance continuously using ultrasonic sensor and by using this, it also performs PWM Dimming control. The lighting device is composed of micro controller, LED driver, ultrasonic sensor, communication module and so on. And the device performs the real time brightness control by adapting the measured distance information from ultrasonic sensor to PWM signals. From this experiment, we implement the active lighting system which minimizes unnecessary power consumption during user's absence by adapting existing energy reducing techniques.
