        영재학생의 시험선발과 자동진급방법에 따른 영재학생의 학업정서, 메타인지능력, 자기효능감에 관한 연구

        이 연구의 목적은 영재교육대상자의 선발 방법이다. 즉, 시험 선발과 자동 진급에 따라 선발된 영재학생간의 학업정서, 메타인지, 자기효능감을 차이를 비교, 분석함으로써 선발 방법에 따른 영재 학생의 특성을 이해하고 효과적인 영재교육을 위한 영재교육대상자 판별 및 선발에 있어서의 타당한 근거를 마련해 보고자 한다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 영재선발방법에 따라 선발된 영재학생간의 학업정서, 메타인지능력 및 자기효능감의 연구에서는 시험 선발 영재학생과 자동 진급 영재학생 간에는 유의한 차이가 없었다. 영재라는 동질집단 조건에서는 선발방법의 차이에 따른 영향은 없는 것으로 판단된다. 둘째, 동일한 선발된 방법에 따른 비교에서, 영재학생의 학업정서를 살펴보면, 시험선발의 경우 초등과 중등 모두에서 유의한 차이가 없었으나, 자동진급에서는 중등의 영재교육기관별 분석에서 영재교육원 학생이 영재학급 학생보다 높았음을 알 수 있었다(p<.05). 메타인지능력에서 있어서는 초등에서는 차이가 없었으나, 중등의 경우 시험선발에서 남학생이, 영재교육원 학생이 높았고(p<.05), 자동진급에서는 영재교육원 학생이 높았음을 알았다(p<.05). 또한 자기효능감에서는 선발 방식에 따라 차이가 없었고 단지 자동진급에서 영재교육원 학생이 영재학급학생보다 높았음을 알았다(p<.05). The purpose of this study is to analyze selection methods of gifted students. This study focuses on the understanding the characteristics of gifted students in accordance with the selection methods, i.e. the examination selection and automatic promotion by analyzing and comparing the academic emotion, meta-cognition, and self-efficacy between gifted students selected according to the selection methods. Moreover, for the purpose of the effective gifted education, this study aims to arrange a reasonable basis for the discrimination and selection of gifted students. The results of this study were as follows. First, there was no meaningful difference between gifted students selected by an examination and promoted automatically in view of academic emotion, meta-cognition, and self-efficacy of gifted students. It is determined that there is no difference between the effects of selection methods under the condition of the same group of gifted students. Second, regarding the academic emotion of gifted students, there is no significant difference in both the elementary and middle school in case of examination selection. However, in case of the automatic promotion, the academic emotion of gifted students promoted automatically in the gifted education center was higher than that of the gifted students in the gifted class (p < .05). Regarding the meta-cognitive skill, there is no difference in the elementary school between the selection methods. In case of the examination selection in the middle school, the meta-cognitive skill of male students of the gifted education center was higher than that of the female and gifted class students (p < .05). In case of the automatic promotion in the middle school, the meta-cognitive skill of students of the gifted education center was higher than that of students of the gifted class (p < .05). As for the case of self-efficacy, there were no differences between the selection methods. In the automatic promotion, self-efficacy of students of the gifted education center was higher than that of students of the gifted class (p < .05).

        다문화가정 이주여성의 운율구 경계짓기와 억양패턴

        본 연구는 다문화가정 이주여성의 운율구 경계짓기와 억양패턴에 대한 음향학적인 분석을 통하여 이주여성대상 한국어교육 프로그램 개발의 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 대부분의 운율 특성에서 이주집단이 한국집단과 차이를 보였다. 한국집단은 첫 어절을 100% 강세구로 읽은 반면, 이주집단은 거의 억양구로 실현하였으며 이주여성들은 첫 분절음에 따라 달라지는 강세구의 첫 음조의 패턴 습득이 아직 제대로 이루어지지 않아 한국집단보다 훨씬 다양한 첫 어절의 억양패턴들을 보였다. 몇몇 운율 특성에서는 이주집단 간에도 차이를 보였으며 한국에서의 거주기간이 상대적으로 긴 필리핀집단이 베트남집단에 비해 상대적으로 한국집단에 가까운 특성을 보였다. 문장 내 평균 억양구수는 베트남집단이 필리핀집단보다 많았으며 가부의문문의 문미 경계음조는 필리핀집단은 한국집단처럼 'H%'로만 실현한 반면, 베트남집단은 'H%'뿐만 아니라 'HL%'로도 실현하였다. The purpose of this paper is to provide basic data for development of Korean teaching programs for immigrant women from multicultural families through the acoustic analysis of their prosodic phrasing and intonation pattern. The results showed that immigrant women showed some differences in most of the prosodic characteristics from a Korean women's group: Immigrant women realized the first word of a sentence in an intonational phrase while Korean women did in an accentual phrase. They also haven't yet correctly learned the tone type of the first of an accentual phrase which differs depending on the type of its first segment yet. As a result, they showed many diverse intonation patterns compared to Korean women. Furthermore, the immigrant women's groups showed some differences between them in a few prosodic characteristics. Philippine women, whose residence duration in Korea is relatively longer than that of Vietnamese women, were more similar to Korean women: Vietnamese women read a sentence with a larger number of intonational phrases than Philippine women did. And they realized sentence-final boundary tone of a yes-no question not only in 'H%' but also in 'HL%' while, like Korean women, Philippine women did only in 'H%'.

        식육 부산물을 활용한 순대의 미생물학적 위해 분석

        Despite the recent increase in the consumption level of the processed meat-byproducts, the health and safety issue has consistently been raised in the processes of production, distribution and consumption. The purpose of this study is to analyze and evaluate the microbiological hazard elements in the Korean sausage, "Sundae," to present not only the safety standard of meat by-product vendors based on HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), but also the quality control criteria and sanitary arrangements of small manufacturers. For the study, the microbiological hazards in 24 raw materials, 7 manufacturing processes, 40 facilities and tools, 17 workplace environment, and 12 workers were analyzed. The analysis revealed the hazardous elements in the initial stages with 6.28 and 4.07 log CFU/g of total aerobic count and coliforms, respectively, detected from the porcine blood and 3.23 log CFU/g of coliforms from the porcine small intestines. The result also showed that the total aerobic counts and coliforms in the process of mixing and filling process exceeds the standards in the hygiene guidelines by Natick with the total aerobic counts of 5.23, 5.45 log CFU/g, and the coliforms of 3.25, and 3.31 log CFU/g, respectively. Although the detected total aerobic count and the coliforms in the filling and washing rooms exceeded the standards, it was found that the total aerobic count was significantly reduced by 98% after cleaning and disinfecting and no coliforms was detected in any process thereafter. In order to achieve high level of safety in the manufacturing processes of Sundae, the separation of washing and disinfection room from the other sections and the sanitation control of the workers must be preceded, along with strict monitoring in the storage and distribution processes. The study raises necessity for additional studies for the safety evaluation of the processed meat-byproducts and further researches on the validity of the critical limits.

        내시경점막하박리법을 이용한 조기위암과 위선종의 치료

        목적: 내시경점막하박리법(endoscopic submucosal dissection, ESD)은 큰 병소를 일괄절제할 수 있다는 장점이 있으나 시간이 오래 걸리고, 출혈과 천공과 같은 합병증의 발생률이 높다. 저자들은 위선종과 조기위암에서 ESD의 치료성적을 분석하여 ESD의 효율성과 안전성에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 대상 및 방법: 2003년 1월부터 2005년 12월까지 동아대 학교병원에 입원하여 위선종 및 조기위암으로 진단되어 ESD을 받은 101명의 환자에서 총 101예의 병변을 대상으로 후향으로 조사하였다. 결과: 1) ESD가 시행된 병변의 평균 크기는 2.58 cm였다. 2) ESD군의 일괄절제율은 90.1%였으며, 이는 병변의 크기가 큰(≥3 cm) 경우에 유의하게 감소하였다. 3) 완전절제율은 83.2%로, 병변 크기에 따른 차이는 없었으나 저도형성이상과 고분화형조기위암에서 특히 완전 절제율이 높았다. 4) 출혈은 41.6%로 응급 수술이 필요할 만큼의 유의한 출혈은 없었고, 내시경 치료로 쉽게 지혈하였다. 5) 재발률은 2.0%였다. 결론: ESD법은 조기위암과 위선종의 치료법으로 효과적이고 비교적 안전한 방법으로 향후 장기적인 추적 관찰이 필요하다. Background/Aims: Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD) is a new endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) technique which enables en bloc resection even in large and depressed lesions. The aims of this study were to assess the therapeutic efficacy and the safety of ESD in gastric adenoma and in early gastric cancer (EGC). Methods: We analyzed 101 lesions in 101 patients. ESD with insulated-tipped (IT) knife were performed in 52 adenomas and 49 EGCs from January 2003 to December 2005 in Dong-A University Hospital. Results: The mean size of the lesion was 2.58 cm (0.7-4.5 cm). En bloc resection rate was 90.1% which was influenced by size (p>0.05). Complete resection rate was 83.2% even in large or in malignant tumors (p>0.05). Bleeding after ESD occurred in 41.6%. Tumor recurrence rate was 2.0%. Conclusions: ESD with IT knife is effective for the treatment of EGC and gastric adenoma even in large or in malignant lesions without definite increased risk of complications.         심폐소생술금지 교육 및 임상 경험에 따른 윤리적 태도

        목적: 본 연구는 심폐소생술 비시행(DNR)에 관해 간호사와 의사의 DNR에 대한 인식 및 태도가 DNR 관련 교육 및 임상경험 여부에 따른 차이가 있는지 분석하고자 하였다. 방법: 연구대상은 단일대학병원에서 근무하는 간호사와 의사로서 총 310명이었으며, 자료수집 기간은 2013년 8월 19일부터 8월 30일까지였다. 연구도구는 DNR에 관해 간호사와 의사의 임상 경험과 윤리문제에 관한 인식 및 태도를 조사하기 위해 연구자들의 문헌고찰을 통해 30문항으로 구성된 설문지를 사용하였다. 결과: 본 연구의 참여자 중에 간호사는 238명(77%), 의사는 72명(23%)이었다. 대부분의 참가자들(99%)이 DNR의 필요성에 동의하였고 이유로는 환자의 편안하고 품위 있는 죽음(52%), 회복이 불가능한 의학적 상태(23%), 환자 본인의 죽음에 대한 선택(19%)의 순이었다. DNR 임상경험에 따른 차이는 DNR 필요성의 동의, DNR 시기 및 DNR 이후의 다른 치료의 허용에 대해서 차이를 보였다. 그러나 DNR 교육 여부에 따른 차이는 DNR 시기 이외에는 유의한 차이를 보이지 못하였다. 결론: 본 연구를 통해 DNR에 대한 교육보다는 임상에서의 경험이 실제 DNR에 대한 인식 및 태도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것을 보여주었기에 효과적인 DNR 교육을 위하여는 실제 임상 실습을 통한 교육이 필요할 것으로 생각된다. Purpose: Although a Do-Not-Resuscitate (DNR) order is widely in use, it is one of the challenging issues in end-of-life care. This study was conducted to investigate attitudes toward DNR according to education and clinical experience. Methods: Data were collected using a structured questionnaire comprising 30 items in a tertiary hospital in Seoul, Korea. Results: Participants were 238 nurses and 72 physicians. Most participants (99%) agreed to the necessity of DNR for reasons such as dignified death (52%), irreversible medical condition (23%) and patients' autonomy in decision making (19%). Among all, 33% participants had received education about DNR and 87% had DNR experience. According to participants' clinical DNR experience, their attitudes toward DNR significantly differed in terms of the necessity of DNR, timing of the DNR consent and post-DNR treatments including antibiotics. However, when participants were grouped by the level of DNR education, no significant difference was observed except in the timing of the DNR consent. Conclusion: This study suggests that the attitudes toward DNR were more affected by clinical experience of DNR rather than education. Therefore, DNR education programs should involve clinical settings.

        PM2.5로 자극한 폐상피세포의 $NF{\kappa}B$ 활성화에 NO의 역할

        연구배경 : PM2.5는 호흡기질환의 악화 및 호흡기 질환에 의한 사망률과 밀접하게 관계가 있다. PM2.5에 의한 호흡기 염증반응의 악화가 그 원인으로 생각되나 염증반응의 조절기전은 확실하지 않다. 본연구에서는 PM2.5에 의한 폐장의 염증반응을 조절하는데 중요한 역할을 하는 전사인자인 $NF{\kappa}B$의 활성화 기전을 알아보아 염증 조절기전에 대한 이해를 높이고자 시도되었다. 방 법 : 폐상피세포주인 A549 세포에서 PM2.5 자극에 의한 $NF{\kappa}B$의 활성화 및 ROS, 그리고 RNS 분비를 관찰 하였다. iNOS 억제제인 L-NIL가 $NF{\kappa}B$ 활성화에 미치는 영향을 관찰하였다. 결 과 : PM2.5는 A549 세포에서 $NF{\kappa}B$의 활성화를 유도 하였다. PM2.5로 A549 세포를 자극시 즉각적인 RNS의 분비는 관찰되었으나 명확한 ROS의 증가는 관찰되지 않았다. RNS 억제제인 L-NIL 처리시 $NF{\kappa}B$ 활성화는 억제되었다. 결 론 : A549 세포에서 PM2.5에 의하여 유도된 즉각적인 $NF{\kappa}B$ 활성화 과정에는 RNS가 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 생각된다. Background : The present study was performed to further improve our understanding of molecular mechanisms involved in the activation of NFkB, a major transcriptional factor involved in the inflammatory response in the lung, by particulate matter in lung epithelial cells with an aerodynamic diameter of less than $2.5{\mu}m$(PM2.5). Materials and Methods : Immediate production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and nitrogen species (RNS), with the PM2.5 induced expression of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS), $I{\kappa}B$ degradation and $NF{\kappa}B$-dependent transcriptional activity, in 549 cells, were monitored. Addition, we also examined the effect of the iNOS inhibitor, L-N6-(1-iminoethyl) lysine hydrochloride (L-NIL), on the PM2.5-induced $NF{\kappa}B$ activation in A549 cells. Results : The rapid degradation of $I{\kappa}B$ and the increase of transcriptional activity of the $NF{\kappa}B$-dependent promotor were observed in A549 cells exposed to PM2.5. The immediate production of ROS in response to PM2.5 in A549 cells was not clearly detected, although immediate responses were observed in RAW264.7 cells. A 549 cells, cultured in the presence of PM2.5, produced an increase in NO, which was noticeably significant after 15 min of exposure with the expression of iNOS mRNA. The addition of L-NIL, an iNOS inhibitor, significantly inhibited the PM2.5-induced $I{\kappa}B$ degradation and the increase of the $NF{\kappa}B$-dependent transcriptional activity. Conclusion : These results suggest that PM2.5 stimulates the immediate production of RNS, leading to the activation of $NF{\kappa}B$ in the pulmonary epithelium.

      • 위선암에서의 유전자 발현

        Purpose: The cDNA microarray provides a powerful alternative with an unprecedented view in monitoring geneexpression levels and leads to discoveries of regulatory pathways involved in complicated biological processes. Our aim is to explore the different gene-expression patterns in gastric adenocarcinomas. Materials and Methods: By using a cDNA microarray representing 4,600 cDNA clusters, we studied the expression profiling in 10 paired gastric adenocarcinoma samples and in adjacent noncancerous gastric tissues from the same patients. Alterations in the gene-expression levels were confirmed by Vsing Northern blots and reverse-transcription PCR (RT-PCR) in all of 4 randomly selected genes. Results: Genes those were expressed differently in cancer ous and noncancerous tissues were identified. 44 (of which 26 were known) and 92 (of which 43 were known) genes or cDNA were up- and down-regulated, respectively, in more than $80\%$ of the gastric adenocarcinoma samples. In cancer ous tissues, genes related to gene/protein expression, cellcycle regulation, and metabolism were mostly up-regulated whereas genes related to the oncogene/tumor suppressor gene, cell structure/motility, and immunology were mostly down-regulated. The semi-quantitative RT-PCR results for the four genes we tested were consistent with the array findings. Conclusions: These results provide not only a new molecular basis for understanding the biological properties of gastric adenocarcinomas but also a useful resource for future development of therapeutic targets and diagnostic markers for gastric adenocarcinomas.
