Objective: The purpose of this study was to verify the validity and reliability of Korean elderly by translating the Hayling Test, a test that measures semantic inhibition ability among executive functions. Methods: Total 91 participants were recruited in accordance with inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria for each group. Within them, 34 were normal from Dongjak-gu, Seoul, 29 were mild cognitive impairment (MCI) from clinics located in Seoul, and 28 were Alzheimer’s disease (AD) from clinics located in Seoul, respectively. The one-way analysis of covariance, the Bonferroni verification, the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis, and the Brain Imaging analysis of voxel-based morphometry were conducted in order to compare and analyze performance of demographics characteristics of each group, Hayling Test results, and The Continuous Performance Test-X (CPTX) results. Results: The comparison analysis showed the Hayling Test is more valid methodology than the CPTX test in discriminating normal, MCI, and AD. Furthermore, ROC curves between normal and AD groups also demonstrated higher sensitivity (88%) and specificity (73%) of Hayling Test, and confirmed its diagnostic validity. In line with the above, brain imaging analysis displays significant positive correlation between temporal & frontal brain regions through the Hayling Test scores, however, this correlation was not found for CPTX. Conclusion: It is expected that the Haling Test, which measures language inhibition function, can be used simply and usefully in diagnosing dementia.
좁고 곡률이 큰 도로에서의 자율주행을 위한 AVM 시스템 기반의 알고리즘

본 논문에서는 좁고 곡률이 큰 도로에서의 자율 주행을 위한 AVM 시스템 기반의 알고리즘을 제안한다. 기존의 전방을 주시하는 모노/스테레오 카메라를 이용한 차선 인식 방법을 이용한 자율주행 알고리즘은 모노/스테레오 카메라의 제한된 FOV (Field of View)로 인해 좁고 곡률이 큰 도로에서의 자율 주행에 한계가 있다. 제안하는 알고리즘은 AVM 시스템을 기반으로 하여 이 한계를 극복하고자 한다. AVM 시스템에서 얻은 영상을 차선의 색상 정보를 이용해 차선의 영역을 이진화 한다. 이진화 영상으로부터, 차량의 뒷바퀴 주변의 관심영역을 시작으로 재귀적 탐색법을 이용하여 좌, 우차선을 검출한다. 검출된 좌, 우 차선의 중앙선을 차량의 경로로 삼고 조향각을 산출해 낸다. 제한 하는 알고리즘을 실제 차량에 적용시킨 실험을 수행하였고, 운전면허 시험장의 코스를 차선의 이탈 없이 주행 가능함을 실험적으로 확인하였다.

무지의 수근 중수간 관절은 무지의 기능, 즉 강력한 두손가락 집기(strong pinch) 그리고 강력 파악(grasp) 있어서 매우 중요하다. 그래서 부적절한 치료는 장기적 합병증을 초래 할 수 있다. 대다각골의 단독 골절은 매우 드문 것으로 알려져 있고 문헌들을 살펴볼 때 성인 수근골 골절의 약 3% 미만 정도에 해당하는 것으로 알려져 있으나 성장기 소아에서의 보고는 거의 없다. 대 다각골 단독 골절인 경우 일반 방사선 촬영에서 소다각골의 음영이 겹쳐서 보이게 되므로 발견하기 힘든 경우가 많아 의심이 되는 경우 특수한 수근부 촬영이 필요하며(Robert’s view) 대다각골 골절이 의심이 되면 전산화 단층 촬영은 진단과 적절한 치료에 있어서 필수적이다. 본 저자들은 성장기 소아 환자가 골프 중 대다각골 골절과 무지의 중수 대다각골간 아탈구 소견을 보여 관혈적 정복 후 두 개의 K 강선을 이용해 고정한 1예를 경험하였기에 보고하는 바이다. The carpo-metacarpal joint is important for thumb function and for strong pinching and grasping. Inadequately treated fracture of the trapezium can produce long term morbidity. Solitary fracture of the trapezium are uncommon, compose less than 3% of all carpal fractures in adults. However such fractures are very rare in growing patients. Routine anteroposterior (AP) and lateral radiographs of the wrist often fail to show these fractures because of the overlapping trapezoid. Special radiographic views have been described (Robert's view) to detect this fracture. Computer tomography (CT) was found to be essential for the diagnosis and proper treatment of the described injury. We report a case of sagittally split fracture of the trapezium associated with a subluxated carpo-metacarpal joint of the thumb that occurred while playing golf, which was treated by open reduction and percutaneous pinning using two K-wires.

N/A The 7S collagen is a large collageneous fragment of basement membrane, which was recent- ly reported to have increased activity in various liver diseases. In order to deterrnine whether 7S collagen concentrations of serum and ascites is helpful to make diagnosis of various liver diseases, we measured 7S collagen concentrations of serum and ascites in various liver diseas- es. Normal values obtained from 20 healthy controls were 3.12k0.70ng/ml for 7S collagen concentration in the serum. Serum concentrations of the 7S collagen exceeding 4.52ng/ml (Mean+2SD) was defined as positive. The mean values of 7S collagen concentration of serum were 5.65k3.20ng/ml in chronic hepatitis, 5.21+4.67ng/rnl in acute hepatitis, 12.54k5.45ng/ ml in liver cirrhosis, and 10.05k4.72ng/ml in hepatoma. The positive rate was extremely high in hepatoma (100%) and liver cirrhosis(97.1%) but low in chronic hepatitis(59.9%) and acute hepatitis(33.3%). The mean values of 7S collagen concentration in ascites were 59.05+ 18.20ng/ml in liver cirrhosis and 55.32k4.23ng/ml in hepatoma. The 7S collagen concentra- tion of ascites shows no parallel correlation to that of serum in patients with ascites.(Korean J Gastroenterol 1994; 26: 655 661)

In recent years, the methods for regenerating deteriorated residence have changed from re-constructions and re-developments to comprehensive management. This means improvement not only the concern of residence area as a settlement but also the perception to the right of residence. Nevertheless, the attention of neighborhood based on walking distance, until now, analysis and study have limits of two dimensional perspective. Because in hill, areas, walking condition must be analyzed according to a gradient with a prudent approach to neighborhood unit. This study is an analysis on city structures in respect to neighborhoods based on re-arrangements neighborhood cohesion scaled infrastructures for the base to regenerate deteriorated residence. In this study, to propose continuity of urban tissue based on daily life and topography, it is analyzed that spatial structures according to a neighborhood of a typical hillside city Seongnam City the first artificial planned city in modern period.
혼합추출 및 개별추출 방식의 삼정환의 항산화 및 항비만효과

Objectives: This study is to confirm the effect of combined extract and individual extract of Samjunghwan (SJH) in anti-oxidative and anti-obesity effect. Methods: Combined ethanol extract of readily made SJH and individual ethanol extract of Atractylodes japonica, Cortex lycii radicis, and Morus alba Linne was combined after the extraction. To evaluate the anti-oxidative effect of SJH, total phenol compound and2,2-Diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) free radical scavenging ability were conducted. Real-time quantitative-polymerase chain reaction analysis of transcription factor peroxisomeproliferator-activated receptror γ (PPARγ), adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase(AMPK)-α1, tumor necrosis factor-α (TNFα) and 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl CoA reducatase(HMG-CoA reductase) were done with 3T3-L1 cells to investigate the ant-obesity effect. Also,cell viability analysis were done to see to toxicity of SJH.Results: Individual extract of SJH showed significant decrease in TNFα and AMPK transcription while PPARγ showed significant increase. Combined extract and individual extract of SJH both showed decrease in HMG-CoA reductase. DPPH free radical scavenging ability and total phenolcompound was analogous between two groups. Conclusions: Individual extract of SJH appears to be more effective in anti-oxidation andanti-obesity effect compared to combined extract of SJH.
