        시스템 엔지니어링 방식에 의한 철강 연속 주조 시스템 설계

        Recently, global market competition of iron and steel products is ever increasing due to over-supply from increased number of industries in rapidly growing countries, such as China, Brazil, and Indonesia. To occupy the big market, major industries are trying to develop high quality, high performance steel products via developing a new iron and steel making process. In other words, development of a new and innovative steel plant is a key to cope with the tough situation. Design and development for the life cycle of iron and steel making plant is very much complex and multi-disciplinary. In this paper, Plant Systems Engineering (PSE), a tailored SE process for industrial plant based on ISO/IEC 15288 is used for the design of Continuous Casting Process (CCP) Plant system. The CCP is a crucial process in steel making plant, whose design technology is occupied by the advanced foreign companies. For the sake of increasing engineering capability for the design of CCP, we applied PSE Process for the renovation of the existing CCP Process. Through the study, we were convinced that the applied method can be used for other plant systems, and SE is really the way of thinking, design, and development of modern complex and multi-disciplinary systems where high risk factors are present throughout the whole life cycle.

        A joint normalcy index to evaluate patients with gait pathologies in the functional aspects of joint mobility

        Gait analysis using 3D motion capture systems provides joint kinematic and kinetic analysis results such as joint relative angles and moments that can be use used to evaluate the degrees of pathological gait patterns. However, the complex data produced using these 3D motion capture systems can only analyzed by experts, because the gait analysis is highly coupled to the kinematics of each joint. Therefore,severalSeveral previous studies using gait analysis have relied on the data compression technique to represent gait deviation from the average normal profiles as a single value. Even though it is important to evaluate gait pathologies at the joint level, all these previous studies have just used a single value to evaluate the pathological gait pattern. Using just one variable for evaluation of a gait is limited in terms of determining which joint movement patterns are getting better during rehabilitation. Therefore, in this study, a method suitable for evaluating gait deviation during a gait was developed to provide three indices for the hip, knee and ankle joints. In addition, to validate the proposed method in clinical cases, experimental tests were conducted on thirty thirty-six normal walkers and six patients with cerebral palsy. Furthermore, to validate the proposed method in regards to rehabilitation, experimental tests were conducted on three classified walking groups with imposed ankle equinus constraints. The JNI for the hip joint, knee joint and ankle were 8.78 (±3.70), 2.92(±3.25) and 8.79 (±4.38), respectively, in the normal walking group. However, these values were significantly different for the pathological walking group with cerebral palsy. The JNI of the hip joint, knee joint and ankle joint were 203.73 (±171.59), 81.23 (±52.13) and 248.39 (±149.99), respectively, for this group. There were also differences between any two of the three classified groups with imposed ankle equinus constraints. In particular, the JNI of the ankle joint was statistically different at the p<0.01 level, and this parameter clearly increased as the degree of the imposed ankle equinus was increased. These results demonstrate that the proposed JNI can be used as a scalar factor to evaluate the angular deviation of each joint in normal and patient groups. In addition, this approach can be adapted to evaluate rehabilitation and pre/post surgery.

        광학식 모션캡처를 위한 다중 카메라 보정 방법

        본 논문에서는 광학식 모션캡처 장비를 위한 다중 카메라 보정 방법을 제안한다. 이 방법은 DLT(Direct linear transformation) 알고리즘을 이용하여 7개의 마커가 있는 3축 보정틀의 영상을 획득하여 1차 카메라 보정을 한다. 그리고 2개의 마커가 있는 보정봉을 측정하고자 하는 영역에서 움직여서 2차 카메라 보정을 실시한다. 1차 카메라 보정에서는 카메라 보정뿐만 아니라 렌즈 왜곡 계수를 계산하여 2차 카메라 보정에서의 최적화를 위한 초기해로 사용한다. 2차 카메라 보정에서는 보정봉에 있는 마커사이의 거리가 일정하기 때문에 계산된 마커 거리와 실제 마커 거리의 차가 최소화 되도록 최적화를 수행한다. 제안한 방법에 의한 다중 카메라 보정 방법을 검증하기 위하여 재투영에러를 계산하였고 3축 보정틀에 있는 마커사이의 거리와 보정봉에 있는 마커사이의 거리를 계산하여 다른 상용장비의 값과 비교하였다. 3축 보정틀에 있는 마커를 복원하여 에러를 비교한 결과 평균오차가 상용장비의 1.7042mm에 비해 0.8765mm로 51.4% 수준으로 나타났고, 보정봉에 있는 마커를 복원하여 에러를 비교한 결과 상용장비의 평균에러 1.8897mm에 비해 2.0183mm로 0.1286mm 크게 나타났다. In this paper, the multi-camera calibration algorithm for optical motion capture system is proposed. This algorithm performs 1st camera calibration using DLT(Direct linear transformation} method and 3-axis calibration frame with 7 optical markers. And 2nd calibration is performed by waving with a wand of known length(so called wand dance} throughout desired calibration volume. In the 1st camera calibration, it is obtained not only camera parameter but also radial lens distortion parameters. These parameters are used initial solution for optimization in the 2nd camera calibration. In the 2nd camera calibration, the optimization is performed. The objective function is to minimize the difference of distance between real markers and reconstructed markers. For verification of the proposed algorithm, re-projection errors are calculated and the distance among markers in the 3-axis frame and in the wand calculated. And then it compares the proposed algorithm with commercial motion capture system. In the 3D reconstruction error of 3-axis frame, average error presents 1.7042mm(commercial system) and 0.8765mm(proposed algorithm). Average error reduces to 51.4 percent in commercial system. In the distance between markers in the wand, the average error shows 1.8897mm in the commercial system and 2.0183mm in the proposed algorithm.

        여성할당제를 넘어 성균형 의회로- 할당제의 운용과 20대 국회의원들의 인식

        이 글은 2000년 이후 한국에서 도입된 여성후보자 할당제가, 정당과 의회 내의 여성대표성과 다양성을 증진시키려는 제도의 목적을 어느 정도 달성하였으며 얼마나 제도로서 정착하였는지 고찰하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 먼저 할당제에 대해 두 가지 다른 이론적 시각을 고찰하고, 할당제는 현 국회의 남성 과대대표성으로 인한 성별 불균형을 시정하여 성별에 따른 신체적, 문화적 경험이 정치적으로 균형 있게 대표되는 성균형 의회의 실현을 위한 수단임을 확인한다. 본문에서는 첫째, 20대 국회선거까지 살펴 본 할당제 운용과 준수 현황에서 대부분의 정당들이 할당제 규정을 제대로 준수하지 않았으며, 둘째, 20대 국회의원들은 대체적으로 할당제의 효과에 대해서 긍정적이지만, 여성의원들이 남성의원들에 비해 더 적극적인 평가를 하고 있었고, 셋째, 20대 국회의원들은 성균형 의회(어느 한 성이 60%를 넘지 않아야 한다) 에 대한 반대의견이 찬성보다 많아 성균형 의회를 지향하는 세계적인 추세에 크게 뒤떨어진 의식을 가지고 있음이 드러났다. This article examines to what extent the gender quotas have been institutionalized and achieved the goals in South Korea. It overviews two perspectives on gender quota, namely as a means to guarantee the minimum level of women’s political representation or as a cap on the over-representation of men. The analysis shows that parties have not always complied with quota regulations; while the majority of the legislators of the 20th National Assembly agree to the necessity of the quota regulations, women than men legislators perceive more positively of the necessity and the impact of quotas; however, more legislators oppose than support the norm that one sex should make up no more than 60% of the seats in the legislatures.

        치아 외상성 손상의 발생 빈도와 예후에 대한 임상적 고찰

        The incidence of the traumatic teeth in juries were studied retrospectively with a total of 489 patients(Total No. of teeth : 1565) and the affecting factors to prognosis were studied with 319 teeth at the department of oral and maxillofacial surgery, colloege of dentistry, Wonkwang university. According to the age and sex, etiologic factors, type of tooth injureies and the incidence were studied and the result were as follows : Male patients of second and third decades were most frequently involved and the average number of teeth injuried were 3.1. The most common type of tooth injuries were subluxation (includes concussion) among the periodontal tissue injuries and complicated crown fractures among the hard tissue injuries. The traffic accident were the most common etiologic factors. Traumatized teeth can disclose a number of complications, such as pulp necrosis, pulp canal obliteration, root resorption and/or loss of marginal supporting bone. So we investigated indirectly the prognosis with pulp necrosis, teeth mobility change, and root resorption. The incidence of pulp necrosis and its relationship with age, root formation, the degree of reduction, the time elapsed between injury and treatment were studied. Tooth mobility changes according to alveolar bone level and root resorption according to the time interval between injury and treatment were also studied. The results were as follows ; The pulp necrosis were occured in the 158 teeth (49.5%) among 319 teeth and root resorption were 29 teeth(83%) among the total avulsed 35 teeth. Root canal treatment were performed in the 172 (54.1%) teeth and 25 teeth were extracted due to severe mobility, periodontal abscess, and periapical lesion.

        기술의 발달은 현대사회에서 특히 젊은 세대의 소통 방식을 비약적으로 변화하게 만들었다. 본 연구에서는 빈번하고 짧은 자기 표현에 익숙한 젊은 세대를 위해서 사용자의 개성과 호감을 표현할 수 있는 모바일 기반 소통 방식을 NFC 기술과 연동하여 제안한다. HCI 의 연구 방법론인 맥락적 연구 방법론을 활용하여 젊은 세대의 실제 소통 방식을 관찰하고 발견된 문제를 자연 속 은유, 엉겅퀴를 차용하여 숨어있는 감성을 표현할 수 있도록 하였다. 제안된 모바일 인터랙션을 프로토타입으로 제작하여 시연 후 미래에 예상되는 문제까지 수용할 수 있는 기술 및 서비스 전파 방식까지 제안하는 것으로 향후 유사한 연구가 생각해야 할 기술 및 사회적 의미와 영역을 제시한다. Recently, developments in technology have changed culture and custom of interaction a lot, especially in young generation. This research suggests new interaction methods for teenagers and college students. The user can express own characteristics and interests by using NFC technology with Smartphone. We are using a contextual inquiry method to figure out the real way of communication among young generation. We also adopt a metaphor of a thistle to reveal user’s sensitivity. A prototype test and its’ evaluation shows the guidance of boundary for future research, which contains not only technology but also social and humanity.
