        삼음교(三陰交) 전침이 노화과정 흰쥐의 항산화능 및 면역능에 미치는 영향

        Objective & Methods: The purpose of this study is to investigate the anti-oxidative and immune-regulative effects of electro-acupouncture(EA) at SP6(Sameumgyo) in aged rats. The author performed several experimental items including blood cell counts, blood chemistry, measurement of various oxidants and antioxidants in liver and spleen, analysis of various cytokines in spleen. The results are as follows. Results: 1. EA at SP6 significantly reduced the number of platelets in blood. 2. EA at SP6 significantly reduced NO concentration and significantly increased catalase activity in liver. 3. EA at SP6 significantly reduced NO concentration and significantly increased SOD activity, catalase activity and glutathione concentration in spleen. 4. EA at SP6 restored the increase of IL-4, IL-6 and the decrease of IFN-γ in aged rat spleen. Conclusion: According to these results, it is postulated that EA at SP6 has an antioxidative effect through increasing the activities of antioxidative enzymes and inhibiting production of oxidized substances, as well as an immune regulative effect in aging process. In consequence, it is presumed that EA at SP6 may have an anti-aging effect.

        현종에 시술한 저주파 전침자극의 항산화 효과에 대한 실험적 연구

        Objectives & Methods: The purpose of this study is to investigate the anti-oxidative effects of electroacupuncture at Hyunjong (GB39) in rats. The author performed several experimental items including change of body weight, relative liver weight, level of albumin, total bilirubin, LDL-cholesterol, LDH, GOT and GPT in blood serum, level of SOD, glutathione, catalase, NO and MDA in liver, histological change of liver. Results: 1. In the GB39-EA group, body weights were decreased in the early stages, but increased later on gradually. 2. In the GB39-EA group, the level of LDL-cholesterol was significantly decreased in comparison with that of the holder group, sham-EA group and GB39-NR group. 3. In the GB39-EA group, liver SOD, glutathione, catalase activity were increased, and NO density was decreased in comparison with those of the holder group, sham-EA group and GB39-NR group. MDA activity was significantly decreased in comparison with that of the holder group. 4. In the GB39-EA group, the density of liver tissue was more similarly maintained to the normal group in comparison with that of the holder group and sham-EA group. 5. The results of the GB39-NR group showed similar tendency with those of the GB39-EA group, but the effects were lower than those of the GB39-EA group. Conclusions: These results suppose that electroacupuncture at GB39 has an anti oxidative effect in human.

        족양명경근(足陽明經筋)의 근육학적(筋肉學的) 고찰(考察)

        Objective & Methods: This study is performed to understand the interrelation between `Foot yangmyung meridian-muscle` and `muscular system`. We studied the Literatures on Meridian-muscle theory, anatomical muscular system, myofascial pain syndrome and the theory of anatomy trains. Results & Conclusion: 1. It is considered that Foot yangmyung meridian-muscle includes extensor digitorum Longus m., tibialis anterior m., quadriceps femoris m., rectus abdominis m., pectoralis major m., sternocleidomastoid m., platysma m., orbicular oris m., zygomaticus major m., zygomaticus minor m., masseter m., Gluteus medius m., and Obliquus externus abdominis m. 2. The symptoms of Foot yangmyung meridian-muscle are similar to the myofascial pain syndrome with referred pain of extensor digitorum Longus m., tibialis anterior m., quadriceps femoris m., rectus abdominis m., obliquus abdominis m., masseter m. 3. Superficial frontal Line in anatomy trains is similar to the pathway of Foot yangmyung meridian-muscle, and more studies are needed in anatomy and physiology to support the continuity of muscular system of Foot yangmyung meridian-muscle in aspect of anatomy trains.

        족소음경근(足少陰經筋)에 해당하는 근육(筋肉)에 관(關)한 고찰(考察)

        Objective: The Meridian sinew is one of the meridian subsystems, which includes muscles distributed on the twelve meridian. This study was performed to understand which muscle is falling under `Foot lesser yin meridian sinew`. Methods: We have studied the literatures on meridian sinew theory and searched muscles which correspond to `Foot lesser yin meridian sinew` in anatomical muscular system. And we researched myofascial pain syndrome about the symptoms of the muscles falling under `Foot lesser yin meridian sinew`. Lastly we compared `Foot lesser yin meridian sinew` with `Deep Frontal Line`-one of the anatomical trains. Results & Conclusion: 1. It is considered that `Foot lesser yin meridian sinew` includes flexor digitorum brevis muscle, abductor hallucis muscle, medial head of gastrocnemius muscle, flexor digitorum longus muscle, adductor muscle, iliopsoas muscle, erctor spinae muscle. 2. The symptoms of `Foot lesser yin meridian sinew` are similar to the myofascial pain syndrome with referred pain of the muscles falling under `Foot lesser yin meridian sinew`. 3. `Deep frontal line` is similar to `Foot lesser yin meridian sinew`, but not exactly in neck & pelvic muscles.

        체내 통신을 이용한 신경 보철용 원격 통신 시스템

        Intra-body communication' is a wireless communication technology that uses a body as a transmission medium for electrical signals. Generally, an 'earth ground' is used to create an electric field for operating the system; however this operating method could not apply to telemetry for implanted neural prosthetic devices. So this paper suggests a newly designed intra-body communication for neural prosthetic devices. A floating system which has a couple of electrodes with body was studied to remove an influence of the 'earth ground'. We found that 10MHz is the most suitable carrier frequency in skin experiments and over 3MHz in subcutaneous experiments. The system has been applied to a current stimulator circuit for cochlear implant that uses pulse width modulation (PWM) method at 480kbps rate successfully. 체내 통신은 인체를 통신 매체로 하여 신호를 전송하는 무선 통신 방식이다. 체내 통신 방식은 체내와 송수신 시스템 그리고 외부 접지를 통한 하나의 전류 패스를 형성함으로써 이루어지는데, 인공 와우와 같은 신경 보철 장치의 경우 피하에 이식되어 있기 때문에 외부 접지를 사용하기 어렵다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 접지의 영향을 받지 않는 체내 통신을 제안하여 신경 보철 장치를 위한 시스템을 개발하였다. 개발된 시스템은 이식된 보철 장치의 체내에 위치한 전극으로의 신호 전송이 가능하도록 설계되었다. 효과적인 통신을 위하여 실험동물의 피부 위 실험 및 피하 실험을 통해 신호 전송 특성을 조사하였으며, 피부 위 실험의 경우 약 10MHz, 피하 실험의 경우 약 3MHz 이상의 주파수 대역에서 최대 전송 이득을 가지는 것을 확인하였다. 본 시스템은 데이터 전송률 480kbps를 갖는 pulse width modulation (PWM) 방식을 사용한 인공 와우용 내부 전류 자극기에 적용하여 그 성능을 입증하였다.

        아크릴산 저장 안정성 및 Diacrylic acid 생성에 관한 연구

        아크릴산(Acrylic acid, AA) 저장 중 자발적으로 생성되는 diacrylic acid (DAA) 생성변화를 연구하였다. 0.12~19.9 wt%의 수분을 함유하고, 중합금지제로 70~300 ppm의 p-methoxyhydroquinone (MEHQ)을 함유한 AA을 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 ℃ incubator에서 90일 동안 저장하였다. DAA 함량은 가스크로마토그래피로 분석하였는데 DAA 생성속도는 수분함량과 온도가 증가함에 따라 증가하였고, 온도가 수분보다 더 큰 영향을 미쳤다. 이 결과를 토대로 DAA 생성량을 예측할 수 있는 실험 속도식을 얻었다. Spontaneous formation of diacrylic acid (DAA) in bulk acrylic acid (AA) has been investigated. Sample of AA containing 0.12~19.9 wt% levels of water and 70~300ppm p-methoxyhydroquinone (MEHQ) were stored at constant temperatures of 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 ℃ up to 90days. The samples were then analyzed for acid composition by gas chromatography. The rate of DAA formation increased with increasing both water content and temperature, in which the latter had the greater effect. Based on the analysis, an empirical equation to predict DAA formation using the water contents and temperature was generated.
