연봉제가 적용된다는 것은 교수 사회에 명실상부한 경쟁 메커니즘이 형성되게 된다는 것을 의미한다. 논란의 여지가 있을 수 있지만, 사회 전반에 걸쳐 경쟁 메커니즘의 적용 폭을 넓혀야 할 처지에서 대학만 예외가 될 수는 없다. 경쟁 메커니즘의 적용으로 교수의 교육 열의가 높아지고 연구실적이 향상되는 순기능만이 아니라, 공동체를 유지하는 협력을 깨뜨리고 부정적인 갈등을 증폭시키는 역기능을 촉발할 수도 있다. 따라서 연봉제와 같은 이해복합적인 사항은 실시에 앞서 충분한 준비와 전문적인 검토를 필요로 한다.
진해만에서 수행된 소형선박을 이용한 음향과 트롤 시험조사

An acoustic and trawl pilot survey using a small vessel was conducted in Jinhae bay of the South Sea of South Korea on April 13~14, May 11~13 and June 8~10, 2015. During the survey, acoustic data was collected and bottom trawls were conducted at the same time. First, various noises were eliminated by using the Park method based on the Wang method (Wang et al., 2015; Park et al., 2015), the species compositions and catch rate from each bottom trawl were observed, and spatial distribution of fishery resources in the water column and their nautical area scattering coefficient (NASC) were investigated through acoustic data. During the entire survey period, 12 orders, 33 families and 41 species were caught. The most caught species in April, May and June were Okamejei kenojei, Zoarces gilli and Pholis nebulosa, respectively. Fish schools were observed near the line of net mouth height in April. Numerous weak scatters were presented on the echograms in May and June. Many fish schools appeared in between the water surface and 20 m deep in May. The NASC value from entire water columns was the lowest in April (35.9 m2/n/2nㆍmile2) and highest in June (1541.3 m2/2nㆍmile2).
난연성 인계 에폭시를 기반으로 한 저점도 에폭시 설계 및 특성 분석

복합재료는 단일물질이 갖는 각각의 특성을 복합화 함으로써 우수한 물성을 갖도록 구성한 물질로 금속 및 고분자의 성능을 뛰어넘는 재료로써 각광받고 있다. 다만, 생산시간이 길고, 단가가 비싼 단점이 있어 이를 극복하기 위해 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 복합재료의 대량생산 시 시간을 단축할 수 있는 에폭시 수지 경화제를 개발하였고, 난연성을 부여하여 이의 적용성을 확대하고자 하였다. 기본 물질로 사용한 에폭시 수지는 bisphenol F 및 resorcinol 구조의 에폭시 2종을 사용하였으며, 난연성을 부여하기 위하여 9,10-dihydro-9-oxa-10-phosphaphenantrene-10-oxide (DOPO)를 이용하여 변성하였다. 첨가제로는 triethylphosphate (TEP) 및 bis[(5-ethyl-2-methyl-1,3,2-dioxaphosphorinan-5-yl)methyl] methyl phosphonate P,P'-dioxide (FR-001)을 사용하여 7종의 조성물을 배합하였고, 열적 특성(겔화시간, 유리전이온도), 난연 성능을 평가하여 high pressure resin transfer molding (HP-RTM) 공법에 적용 가능한 에폭시 기지재를 개발하였다. Composite materials are substances that are configured to have excellent physical properties by combining the properties of a single substance, and are in the limelight as materials that exceed the performance of metals and polymers. However, it has the disadvantages of long cycle time and high unit price, and much research is being performed to overcome these disadvantages. In this study, we developed an epoxy resin curing agent that can shorten the time required for mass production of composite materials, and tried to expand the applicability of objections by imparting flame retardancy. The epoxy resin used as a basic substance utilized two types of bisphenol F and resorcinol structure, which was further modified using 9,10-dihydro-9-oxa-10-phosphaphenantrene-10-oxide (DOPO) to impart flame retardancy. Triethylphosphate (TEP) and bis [(5-ethyl-2-methyl-1,3,2-dioxaphosphorinan-5-yl)methyl] methyl phosphonate P,P'-dioxide (FR-001) were used as additives, seven kinds of compositions were blended, thermal characteristics (gelation time, glass transition temperature) and flame retardant performance were evaluated. We successfully developed an epoxy matrix that can be applied to high pressure resin transfer molding (HP-RTM) process.

Tooth injuries by dental trauma can occur in the military through various ways. Army dentist should be aware of many kinds of tooth injuries by dental trauma and the proper management for each injury. Correct diagnosis of tooth injuries by dental trauma is important for its management. However there are many consideration to the diagnosis of traumatic dental injuries. Periodic clinical and radiographic examinations are necessary. These case reports describe diagnosis of many kinds of tooth injuries by dental trauma and their proper management by periodic clinical and radiographic examinations.

Traumatic root fracture involves dentin, cementum, and pulp. It occurs in 0.5% to 7.0% of all trauma cases in permanent teeth. Diagnosis of horizontal root fracture is critical for its management. However, there are many considerations to the diagnosis of horizontal root fracture. Continuous clinical and radiographic examinations are positively necessary. This case report describes delayed diagnosis of horizontal root fracture of upper right central incisor by continuous clinical and radiographic examinations.
전통 콩발효 식품 유래 7, 8, 4'-Trihydroxyisoflavone의 피부 생리활성 연구

10년 이상 자연 발효된 콩 발효 식품에서 희귀 이소플라본 성분인 7, 8, 4'-trihydroxyisoflavone을 분리하였고, 분리된 성분의 항산화 효과를 비효소적인 방법으로는 DPPH 법을, 효소적인 방법으로는 xanthine oxidase법을 이용하여 확인하였다. 그 결과 7, 8, 4'-trihydroxyisoflavone는 농도 의존적으로 비타민 C와 유사한 DPPH 라디칼 소거 효능을 가지고 있음을 보여주었고 6.6 ± 0.4 μM 농도에서 xanthine oxidase에서 생성된 superoxide 라디칼을 50 % 수준까지 낮춤을 보여주었다. 또한, 이 희귀 이소플라본 성분은 UVB로 유도된 MMP-1의 생성을 초기 수준으로 억제하는 것으로 나타나 피부 노화 억제에 유용한 성분임을 확인할 수 있었다. A rare isoflavone, 7, 8, 4'-trihydroxyisoflavone, was isolated from a 10-year-old fermented soybean food. 7, 8, 4'-trihydroxyisoflavone was isolated for the first time from a Korean fermented soybean food. Evaluation tests of biological activity showed significantly inhibition activity for free radical scavenging on both non-enzymatic (DPPH system) and enzymatic method (xanthine oxidase system). DPPH radical scavenging effect of 7, 8, 4'-trihydroxyisoflavone was similar with vitamin C in a dose-dependent manner. In xanthine oxidase (XO) system 7, 8, 4'-trihydroxyisoflavone showed superoxide radical inhibition activity of 50 % at a concentration of 6.6 ± 0.4 μM. Also, the compound significantly suppressed cellular MMP-1 formation. These results suggest that 7, 8, 4'-trihydroxyisoflavone could be developed as a potential preventive or therapeutic agent against skin aging.
