B-ISDN의 가입자망 내에 도입된 광대역 액세스 망은 다양한 유형의 가입자들을 서비스노드로 집선 또는 다중화하는 기능을 수행한다. 액세스 망의 ATM 연결을 동적으로 제어하기 위한 VB5.2 인터페이스의 프로토콜로는 B-BCC와 B-ANCC가 있으며, 가입자망의 연결 및 호 처리를 위한 프로토콜로는 DSS2, 국간 망에서는 B-ISUP이 표준화되어 있다. 전송 시스템의 각 구간마다 서로 다른 프로토콜들이 사용되므로 이들 프로토콜간의 연동 기능이 필요하며, 순차형 연동 방식과 병렬형 연동 방식이 제안되어 있다. 순차형 연동 방식은 VB5.2 인터페이스 프로토콜의 응답이 올 때까지 기다린 후, 국간 망 프로토콜의 연동을 진행하는 방식으로 동작하고, 병렬형 연동 방식은 VB5.2 인터페이스 프로토콜과 국간 망 프로토콜의 연동을 동시에 진행하는 방식을 사용한다. 본 논문에서는 ATM 연결들에 대한 순차형 및 병렬형 연동 방식의 시뮬레이션을 수행하여 연동 방식이 연결 설정 지연 및 완료비에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다.

A broadband access network in B-ISDN subscriber network, plays a role of concentration or multiplexing of various subscribers into a service node. To establish an end-to-end ATM connection, interworking functions between VB5.2 interface''s connection protocol and the signalling protocol, are performed at the service node. A sequential interworking model and a parallel interworking model were proposed for these interworking functions. The sequential interworking model proceeds the signalling protocol of network node after the response of VB5.2 interface protocol. On the other hand, the parallel interworking model proceeds the signalling protocol and the VB5.2 interface protocol simultaneously. In this paper, we analyze and simulate above two interworking models in terms of a connection setup delay and completion ratio, when call requests with CBR and VBR transfer capability arrive at the service node. We observed that the completion ratios of the two interworking models are quite closed. However the connection setup delay of parallel interworking model is improved by about 33% compared with that of the sequential interworking model.

현대로 접어들면서 특히 미국의 ‘일반’/‘비교’문학자들이 고유한 학문으로서의 비교문학의 ‘위기’ 논쟁을 활성화시키며 비교문학 위에 세계문학을 중첩시켜 세계화 추세에 편승하려는 용이한 행진을 계속해왔다. 따라서 비교문학은 세계문학 담론에 의해 덧칠되어 사실상 인문과학으로서의 제대로 된 위치를 거의 상실할 위기에 있어왔다. 한편 학문으로서의 ‘(비교)문학의 위기’를 해결해 줄 것 같았던 (비교)문화연구가 이제는 낙관적일 수만은 없으리라는 인식이 생겨나기 시작했다. 이 ‘위기의식’과 위기의 특성 자체는 무엇일까? 이들의 상관관계는 어떻게 형성되어야 할까 라는 문제의식에서 이글은 출발했다. 이 문제를 풀어나가기 위해 (비교)문학, (비교)문화연구의 방법론적 틀에 관한 논의에서 가장 중요한 핵심 개념으로 정립 가능한 ‘이질성(altérité/alterity)’을 발견하였다. 우선, 현대 인문학 담론에 있어서 거의 전 분야에서 ‘타자성’ 개념으로 원용되고 있는 이 용어의 원래 의미 (어원적 의미)를 재발굴해서 그 원래 의미가 변화, 변질, 변형임을 환기시켜 그 의미와 비교의 원칙과의 관계를 명확히 규정하고자 하였다. 비교 (比較)는 원칙적으로 비교 대상간에 공통으로 적용되는 일반성과 상호간의 차이를 보장하는 특수성을 기반으로 성립 가능한데 이질성 (altérité)이 바로 이 원칙을 충족하고 있음을 입증했다. 다음으로는, ‘이질성’ 개념을 통해 비교가능한 것과 비교불가능한 것의 구분을 위한 이론적 준거를 제시하고 (본문 속 Figure 1 & Figure 2), 동시에 ‘이질성’과 ‘비교방법’ 사이의 존재론적 상관성을 규명했다. ‘이질성’과 ‘비교방법’ 사이의 존재론적 상관성을 적나라하게 보여주는 문학사의 한 사례를 제시하고 (Figure 3), 그 사례 속에서 간파되는 ‘이질성’이 비교성 (比較性)의 특성을 보장하고 있음을 보여주는 방법을 활용했다. 이 사례 분석 이후에는 동일한 조건 하의 모든 사례에 적용 가능한 형태 (Figure 4), 즉 도식적 형태를 제시하고자 했다. 이러한 도식적 형태가 그 자체로 ‘이질성’을 활용한 비교이론은 아니지만 이론으로 향하는 기반이 될 수 있다. 이 논문은 이론적 타당성이 이미 존재하는 것에 기반을 둔 것이 아니라 이 논문을 통해 이론의 가능성을 타진하고자 한 것이다. 이렇게 해서 오늘날 우리가 윤리적 · 인간적 차원에서 ‘타자성’ 개념으로 사용하고 있는 altérité/alterity’이라는 용어에서 ‘이질성’이란 원래의 의미를 회복하여 비교의 방법론적 차원의 원칙을 재정립하고자 했다. 이 논문은 ‘과학적’ 방법론이 결여된 결과로 나타난 문학과 문화 연구의 ‘위기’를 ‘이질성’이란 비교문학의 기원적이며 방법론적 핵심에 의거해 해결하고자 하였으며, 이를 기반으로 비교에 있어서 이론화의 가능성을 탐색한 시도이다.

Nearly one chapter in The American, a novel by Henry James, is consisted of the opera Don Giovanni. What is the author`s intention and the effect in including this drama into the novel? With this question as an initiative, in order to take into account the dramatic function of `play within a novel` and its effectual aspect, the relationship between this novel and its dramatic characteristics will be examined first by looking into the characteristics of literary activities around the time of composition of The American. Next, with the understanding of the traditional `play within a play,` the subject of this paper, that is the `play within a novel` will be examined. The interpretation of the author`s intention will be made possible by the above investigation. Though the author attempts to relate the characters of Don Giovanni with the characters in the novel, the attempt instead weakens the relationship among them. Despite the fact that the author included a play in the novel, the connection between the characters of the novel and the characters of the play are difficult to define. The readers` impression is that the play exhibits no proper functions in the novel and that the storyline involving the play goes no further than rhetoric. Then, what was James` intention regarding the `play within a novel`? In general, in a `play within a play,` there were to be found thematically and structurally intimate similarities in the relation between an `inner play` and an `outer play`. Moreover, through `play within a play,` there are attempts to distinguish between truth and falsity. In The American, however, it is difficult to define the connection of the play Newman is watching with the plot of the novel itself. Only a few similarities between characters can be recognized to a limited extent Therefore, the `play within a novel` functions not as an introspective part which has close relationship with the outer world of the play in order to show the differences between the reality of the outer world and fiction. Rather, it becomes coincidental, marginal and extroversive. How can this feature be explained? The loose relationship between the `play within a novel` and the plot of the novel including it becomes evident in that James employs his `play within a novel` not as an interpretation of the play itself but as a temporal and spatial aspect to develop another theme in the outer world. Can this be a device James contrived in order to evade intentionally the typically possible argument on the logical interpretation of the relationship of the dual structure with the `play within a play?` If so, the `play within a novel,` contrary to the objective of recognizing the differences between reality and illusion found in the `inner play` and the `outer play,` can be said to resemble some kind of a margin that is present yet need not be seen. Why does a matter involving an important action in the novel occur only in an intermission that has nothing to do with the development of the play itself`? When the intermission of the play and the conversation part of the novel are considered, the typical functions of each genre in The American are acknowledged as having been overturned. Though James includes the `play` in his structure of the novel, he constrains extremely the dramatic role of the play while using a non-dramatic factor, the intermission, to develop an action in the novel surrounding the play. The purpose of this paper is to examine Henry James` complex attitude towards the special functions of each literary genre and their effects by examining the functions of the `play within a novel` in the light of the `play within a play.`

21세기에 접어들면서 `文化`가 국가 경쟁력의 하나로 주목 받기 시작하였고, `문화콘텐츠`의 附加價値에 관한 관심이 대단히 높아졌다. 이때에 우리가 주목하게 되는 것은 오랫동안 우리가 축적해온 문화 원형으로서 문화콘텐츠로 변형되기 이전에 가공되지 않은 재료인 인문학 분야의 각종 古典이다. 그 중 司馬遷의 『史記』는 문화원형으로서 동양 최고의 가치를 지닌 인문학의 寶庫라고 할 수 있다. 본고에서는 이러한 불멸의 역작의 저자 司馬遷에 초점을 맞추었다. 왜냐하면 司馬遷의 삶 역시 그가 남긴 수많은 인물들의 이야기와 더불어 독특한 한편의 이야기로서 오랜 세월 동안 많은 사람들에게 감동을 주고 있기 때문이다. 먼저 그가 살았던 독특한 시대적 의미와 『史記』를 집필한 진정한 이유가 무엇인지 살펴보았다. 그리고 司馬遷이 추구하던 사상의 근간을 추적하였는데, 지금까지 사마천은 儒家思想家 혹은 黃老思想家 등으로 인식 되어왔었는데 이유와 근거가 타당한지 살펴보고 그의 인간적인 면모와 정신을 통해 그의 진정한 사상의 면모를 찾고자 하였다. 연구 결과 사마천은 當時 社會나 制度에는 걸맞지 않는 時代를 뛰어넘는 人間의 普遍性을 自覺하고 追求했던 대단히 早熟하고 成熟한 自由主義者였음을 알 수 있었다. 인간은 모멸당한 자존심에 대해 거듭 새로운 자존심을 갖는다. 사마천은 그의 개인적인 비극을 통해 인간이 무엇 때문에 살아야 하는지 하나의 영웅적인 예를 보여주었고 그 결과 동양 최고의 인문학의 보고인 『史記』를 탄생시킬 수 있었다. 사마천이 추구하던 사상의 근간은 인간을 최고의 가치로 여기는 인본주의에 근거한 자유사상이라고 할 수 있을 것이다. As we enter the 21st century, `culture` draws attention as a nation`s competitiveness and interests are higher than ever before on the added value of `Culture Contents`. What we focus on here are the long accumulated Culture Archetypes the ingredients before modification into culture contents-various classics of the humanities. Amongst those is Shiji of Simaqian, a culture archetype which is one of the treasure houses of oriental humanities. This study focuses on the author of the masterpiece Simaqian. This is because the life of Simaqian himself, as the lives of so many he portrait in his writings, moves people for years as a unique and distinguished story. First the epochal meaning of the unique era in which he lived is examined and then the true reason behind why he started writing Shiji. An inquisition is made thereafter for the foundations of his philosophy. Until now, Simaqian is perceived to be a Confucianist of a Huang-Laoist. The reason and evidence behind this assumption is inspected. His humane features and spirit is also examined. The research proves Simaqian as a latitudinarian who surpasses the era in which he lived and the system. The personal tragedy of Simaqian exemplifies a heroic figure which shows why humans need to live. The result is the orients greatest treasure source of Humane Studies, Shiji. The fundamentals behind Simaqian`s philosophy is Freedom thought grounded in humanism which believes the human life to be the most precious thing.

제임스 가의 문화 정체성 형성의지

This paper attempts to look at how the question of cultural identity can be discussed in terms of which "a family of the minds" as a unit can be given meaningful form of interpretation. I found its real possibility in the James family, especially in Henry James Senior, William James, and Henry James Junior since they represent important cultural context reflecting their European relationship in terms of American cultural consciousness. This research is divided in two parts; the first part of this study consisted of the elder James`s role as a source of moral aesthetic consciousness for the two children, the second part consisted of showing different aspects of inter-relationships between father and sons and between brothers in the process of identity construction. I examine different aspects of the identity formation process of William James and Henry James Junior by arguing different ways of making relationship with their father`s philosophy to illuminate how they reflect and represent American cultural consciousness, and to define the meaning of the Jamesian mind in American cultural history.

다계층 망의 근원장애 분석에 기반한 중앙집중형의 병행형 복원제어에 관한 연구

The drawback of the existing bottom-up scheme based on hold-off time leads to longer recovery delay in high layer, which performs its recovery procedure after a fixed time regardless of fault location. In this paper we propose recovery mechanism of multilayer network, which combines root-cause analysis with the existing bottom-up scheme for a higher layer to start its recovery procedure without waiting hold-off time. To achieve high-speed control, we introduce concurrent control scheme to the centralized restoration mechanism based on root-cause analysis of multilayer network. According to the number of switches, we measure and compare control delays of sequential and concurrent mechanisms in the experimental test-bed with a centralized control server and commercial switches.
