Multidimensional Scaling is a technique developed in the behavioral and social sciences for studying the structure of objects or subjects. It has been used to study such things as the social structure of subjects in an organization, the semantic structure of words, and the logical structure of job tasks for a given occupation. MDS has proven useful to researchers in many fields including anthropology, education, geography, history, marketing, psychology, political science and sociology. In this paper, we introduce repeated MDS and weighted MDS with a set of multivariate, statistical methods for estimating the parameters in and assessing the fit of various spatial distance methods for proximity data to measure dissimilarity or similarity distances D={d(ij)}, i, j = 1, 2, …, n, between its subject, Specially, we suggest the correct representation and measurement about weirdness index with wrong illustration.

꽃 문양을 응용한 도자 방향 용기 디자인 연구

In the developed modern society, the economic development accelerates the changes in our living. It is the human instinct pursuing happiness and graceful style across all ages and culture. The contemporary people have desire to place and display the living tools according to their functions in their living spaces. In this research, I studied and developed the perfume container focusing on its visual, functional and aesthetic design factors. I would like to reinterpret the contractual characteristics and design of the perfume container adaptable today and to search for the functionality of ceramics for a perfume container. In addition, I put emphasis on developing customer friendly design of the perfume container showing uniqueness and naturalness with enhanced contents on the basis of the comfortable shape of the product and the surface decoration effect borrowing flower images.

논문 : 고객기반 브랜드 자산에 관한 연구

본 연구에서는 국내외 커피 전문점들이 치열한 경쟁 다툼 속에서 메뉴와 제품의 품질 격차가 줄어들고 제품만으로 차별화 하는 데에는 한계에 이르게 되면서, 더 이상 커피를 맛으로만 승부를 보는 시대는 끝이 났다. 커피전문점은 기본적인 커피 맛과 서비스 대한 요소뿐만 아니라, 결국 소비자가 가지는 커피 전문점의 브랜드를 통해 커피 전문점을 평가하고 방문하는 경향을 나타내게 되었다. 따라서 본 연구는 이러한 문제의식을 바탕으로 다음과 같은 연구목적을 달성하고자 하였다. 커피전문점의 고객기반 브랜드 자산 및 지각된 가치, 고객만족, 행동의도 요인에 대한 이론적 고찰을 실시하고, 커피전문점의 고객기반 브랜드 자산의 요인을 도출, 도출된 커피전문점의 고객기반 브랜드 자산과 고객만족의 관계, 커피전문점의 고객기반 브랜드 자산과 행동의도의 관계, 지각된 가치와 고객만족의 관계, 지각된 가치와 행동의도의 관계, 고객만족과 행동의도 간의 영향 관계를 파악하였다. 본 연구는 국내외 커피전문점을 대상으로 연구를 실시함으로써 고객기반 브랜드 자산에 대한 연구범의를 확장시켰다고 할 수 있고, 커피전문점 브랜드 자산요인을 측정한 결과 4개의 고객기반 브랜드 자산의 요인을 도출하였다. 따라서 커피전문점의 고객기반 브랜드 자산의 측정도구를 제시하였다는데 본 연구의 의의가 있다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구의 실무적 시점으로는 커피전문점의 차별화된 경쟁우위를 위해 커피전문점을 운영하는데 필요한 속성들에 대한 개발과 효율적인 관리를 할 수 있도록 근거를 제시하였다.

신경계 중환자에게 적용한 섬망 예방중재의 효과

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of a delirium prevention intervention for patients in neurology and neurosurgery intensive care units (ICUs). Methods: This study was a quasi-experimental study. Participants were 87 patients. The experimental group was provided with nonpharmacologic and multicomponent delirium prevention interventions, consisting of regular delirium assessment, improvement in orientation, early therapeutic intervention, and environmental interventions. The control group was provided with routine intensive care. Data were analyzed using χ² test, Fisher’s exact test, and t-test. Results: Both groups were homogeneous. The incidence of delirium and length of hospitalization were significantly lower in the experimental group compared to the control group. ICU stay, mortality and unplanned extubation were lower in the experimental group compared to the control group, but there was no significant difference. Conclusion: Findings indicate that the delirium prevention intervention is effective in reducing incidence of delirium and length of hospitalization. Therefore, this intervention should be helpful in preventing delirium in neurology and neurosurgery ICUs and can be used as a guide in the prevention of delirium in neurological diseases’s patients.

식생활에서 본 도제 식기 디자인연구 : 한식기를 중심으로

The widely held belief for the pottery is limited to the simple dish on our tables. However, it has a more profound role, which expresses not only the life but also dreams of the people of the time. Our traditional pottery, for example, shows our own feeling and charateristics. The changes in the method of food consumption can also reflect the traits of the entire culture. Our traditional dishes have two characteristics; one is that they have been made by the ordinary people and contain the spirit of their life, and the other is that they have been used by from generation to generation. Though our traditional dishes have so many attractions, we have been addicted to the western ones. I think it is the very time that we should develop ours to the changes of the time, but at the same time we should try to keep the spirit of our forefathers. Following are a few suggestions: ㆍStudy the creative design reflecting characteristics of our culture. ㆍThe development and standardizing of the pottery source reflecting our time. ㆍNational support for the pottery industry and for the interaction between pottery industry and universities. ㆍMarketing for the public use ㆍRecognition of our traditional pottery by the public. With 2001 World Pottery Expo, We have a good chance to inform the beauty of our ordinary pottery and their practical uses.

문화생태 측면에서의 동시대 공예 연구

There is a saying that excrement is resources. It means that ejection or wastes used and thrown away should be recycled. But the better is to reduce excrement .Wastes should be like wastes. Then is the present age, highly nutritious excrement or useful wastes are voluminous. This is clearly a one-time cultural product of the software society. When craft is put in a ecological position, it has continuity and healthinss. So, from the ecological aspect, craft is a cultural style that should continue to exist. Return to the first and let us see 'Ree Wit's exhibition of wall drawings. He is an artist, composer and idea man and he send us planning program through fax useful in the information society. After the exhibition is finished, the disposal wall drawing are thrown away. Possibly, the wall can be pull away and sold but it is already deviated from the intention that the artist contended at first. (That is it become a high-end fraud). In the world there is people of this or that kind. If there is a computer, then there exists a player. Some people do both. Craftsman(or a person doing a work like craft) falls under this category. So, it has a cultural and ecological menaing. As far as art is expected to express human experiences through the conceptual forms or materials concertizing human spirit, craft can be a true substitute are that we can aim at. Presently what became wastes or kitch are mostly found in so-called pur art. Craft and pure art are replaced with each other. (John parolt)

충주ㆍ중원지역 관광공예품 개발에 관한 연구

The objective of this project is to develop excellent tourist craftworks that can effectively represent characteristics of the local culture of Joongwon province. For the production of tourist souveniors with useful function, various shapes and popularity, four coworkers have designed and produced craftworks after researching individually in the area's tourist circumstances. Since long before Joongwon province has been a famous tourist place with its surrounding mountains, the Choongju Lake and the tourist industry of the area. To draw more tourists to this province, and to activate the local tourist industry, the development of excellent tourist crafts that can be gaining general currency is a very important job. Thus this study aims at recognizing the problems of tourist souveniors with low quality now having an extensive currency in general tourist area, and also at developing superior tourist craftworks with characteristics of tourism and the local culture. On the basis of motifs that have been various tastes and prices by adopting an effective method of production and material selection.
