      • 一部 島嶼地域의 學童(初ㆍ中)을 中心으로한 皮下脂肪厚測定에 依한 總脂肪量 測定에 關한 硏究

        For the measurement on the fat content in primary and middle school students was conducted on a total of 810 students (male 458, female 352), from 6 to 15 years of age. The subjects were all students in the Young Yoo Island, Young Yoo Myun, Bu Chun Kun, Gyunggi-Do total body fat amount was measurement by skin fold thickness with a skin-fold caliper (manufactured by Cambridge Scientific Industrial Inc. U.S.A) at four sites of the body, and it was calculated by Keys and Brozek'sl2), Nam's36), and Kim's26)37) regression equation. As a result of this survey, the following conclusions were obtained. 1. At the same age skin-fold thickness on all sites were greater in girls than boys. 2. The mean value of skin-fold thickness: The average value of the whole body's as well as from four parks (scapular, abdominal, lumbar, upper arm) of the body are much lower than the students in urban but similar to those of students from rural area. 3. By the regression equation of the body fat weight: The students nutritional condions are as follows: Fat weight (kg), fat free weight (kg), fat weight/total body mass (%), fat free weight/tota 1 body mass (%), fat weight/Fat free weight (%), as well as on the whole of the student's nutritional condions are much lower than the student's in urban.

      • 加水分解에 의한 Gelatin의 可使時間에 관한 硏究

        The rate of the degradation of the gelatin molecular weight by means of the hydrolysis was observed both in the presence and in absence of the preservatives at the 40˚C and 60˚C using a laboratory skin gelatin which has been obtained from Korean ox collagen, a skin gelatin of sammi in Korea, a bone gelatin of P. Leiner in British and a bone gelatin of Nitta in Japan, respectively. As a result, the following has been found: 1. When the gelatin solution is holded in a hot condition (at 40˚C-60˚C), the effect of the preservatives could not observed. 2. The usable time of the gelatin solution could be mesured by determining of the rate of decrease of degradation of the viscosity of the molecular weight. 3. The usable time of the gelatin solution which has been obtained from Korean ox collagen is almost same as that of the bone gelatin solution.

      • "누룽지"의 Calorie 測定에 關한 硏究

        The following results were obtained from the analysis of "scorched rice" which v, -ere produced as a by-product during the cooking of boiled rice with a mixture of polished rice’s, soy beans and barleys available in the market. Note that "scorched rice" were classified into three classes based on the content of water. Investigations of General Ingredients 1) It was found that there is a slight difference in water content, is, only 1.4% between that in "scorched rice" made of polished rice’s and barlies and that in the "scorched rice" made of polished rice and soy beans. This difference has been determined by measuring the water content of the former as 11. 89% and that of the latter as 12. 49%. 2) A maximum crude protein content, ie, 8~9%, has been found in the "scorched rice" made of polished rice and Italian millet, whereas the "scorched rice" made of polished rites and soy beans retained a minimum protein. This is attributed to the fact that grain of soy bean is too large to be attached in a thin "scorched rice". 3) A maximum crude fat were found in the boiled rice prepared with the polished rites and soy beans. The experiments were carried out with 100g of boiled rice and found as follows: 4.21% of polished rice and Italian millets; 2.14% in polished rites and soy beans and a minimum content of crude fat, ie, 1.66%j were obtained with the "scorched rice" made of polished rites only. 4) As to the content of crude fibers for each 100g of boiled rice a maximum 0.92% was found in the "scorched rice" of polished rice’s and Italian millets, whereas 0. 23%, a minimum value of crude fibers content was found in the "scorched rice" of polished rice only. 5) A maximum content of crude ash has been found to be 0. 47% in the "scorched rice" of polished rice’s and Italian millets, whereas a minimum value of the same 0. 25%, was found in the "scorched rice" of polished rice’s only.

      • 流通加工食品의 微生物學的 汚染度 調査

        It is a current phenomenon that milk and milk products move commonly from producer to consumer through several hands and they may move behind the regulatory jurisdiction within which they are produced or processed. But an uniformity in procedures for examination become essential for orderly marketing. The authors have tested with 108 pasteurized marketing milks which are non spoiled milk, spoiled milk on room temperature and in refrizerator for MPN of coliform, total viable bacteria populations and identified organisms isolated. The results were summerized as follows; 1. A total of 46 (85.18%) marketing milks were observed within 10/ml No. of coliform bacteria out of pasteurized 54 non spoiled marketing milk. A total of 44 (81.48%) marketing milks were observed within 50×10^3/ml total viable bacteria population of 54 non spoiled marketing milks. 2. A total of 47 (87.04%) marketing milks were observed within 10/ml No. of coliform bacteria spoiled in room temperature of 54 marketing milks. All poiled milks in room temperature has shown total viable bacteria population from 20×10^4/ml-87×10^8/ml. 3. A total of 48 (88.89%) marketing milks were observed within 10/ml No. of coliform bacteria spoiled in refrizerator 54 marketing milks. All spoiled milks in refrizerator has shown total viable bacteria population from 14×10^8/ml In result No. of coliform bacteria a comparison between non spoiled marketing milk and spoiled marketing milk has shown a good agreement. In result No. of total viable bacteria population a comparison between non spoiled marketing milk and spoiled marketing milk has not shown good agreement. 4. We identified 81 organisms from marketing milks. Of 81 identified organism, 32 (39.50%) was identified by E. Coli and Enterobacter, 16 (19.70%) wa identified by Corynebacterium, 7 (8.64%) was identified by Aeromonas, 11 (13.58%) was identified by Bacillus and the other of which 13 (16.05%) organisms was identified by Chromobacter, Bacteroides corrodens andStaphylococcus epidemidis.

        Effects of the rotation on the development of the boundary layer in the transition to turbulence has been investigated by rotating the rectangular channel about its axis. At suction side, the boundary layer in the transition to turbulence maintains the laminar boundary layer, while the fluctuating velocity is restrained by the rotation. On the contrary, at pressure side, as the fluctuating veloctiy is fostered, transition to the trubulent boundary layer is promoted.

        전기유변성 클러치의 동력전달 메커니즘 제2보:전기유변성 유체의 온도상승에 의한 성능변화 예측

        ER clutch is a device using ER fluid, so called "intelligent material" and is a controlled system with electric field strength. Currently, the temperature of ER fluid increases and affects the performance of ER clutch when ER clutch is operating. This study was undertaken to estimate this performance variation due to temperature rise of ER fluid. An analytic heat transfer model of concentric cylinder type ER clutch was developed and with this model, effects of changing geometric, kinetic parameters of ER clutch and ER fluid properties were described. In conclusion, compared with neglecting thermal effects, a performance of ER clutch was very differential and for uniform performance of ER clutch, we have to improve thermal stability of ER fluid.         My investigation is about the theoretical discharge coefficients and spray angle from the centrifugal pressure nozzle, and the influence of the surface tension and viscosity of liquid on the discharge coefficients and spray angle. discharge coefficients and spray angle are well arranged with the Reynold's number 'N_R' of the swirl chamber. According to the consequence of an experiment, surface tension doesn't have particular influence to the discharge cofficients and spray angle except the low N_R. Discharge coeffcient has a sharp rise on account of the reduction of cavitation on the orifice of the nozzle around N_R=400, and it has a slow decreasing owing to the transition from the laminar flow to the turbulent one amid the swirl chamber in the range of N_R=2,000∼3,000. And the atomizing characteristics are almost same in case of the equal N_R on one nozzle in spite of the differance in injection pressure and viscosity.

        본 연구에서는 난해한 수식을 구사한 새로운 제어회로에 관한 해석이나 설계 이론에 관한 것이 아니라 지금먼저 비금속 윅을 단독으로만 실험하여 해석해와의 일치 까지의 여러 연구자의 의론에 의하여 확립된 열선유속계의 기본계측이론을 충실하게 실현하는 단순화회로로 구조가 간단하고 취급이 간편하며 저렴한 가력으로 제작 할 수 있으며 성능면에서도 고가의 기성 상품에 비하여 그다지 손색이 없는 실용적인 정온도 형 열선유속계를 개발하는 것이다. Hot-wire anemometer with constant temperature hot-wire anemometer bridge, linearizer, D.C. stabilization electric power source and square-wave generater has been constructed for trial and the test has been carried out. As a result the test showed the overall frequency response of 6KHz over the change of air flow and the noise of approximately 1cm/s in an air flow of 10m/s. The accuracy of the lienarizer stands comparison with the existing anemometer and turned out to be relatively good operational characteristics.

      • 코리올리힘 이 作용하는 亂流境界層內 의 流動 에 관한 硏究

        본 연구에서는 단순유로인 단면이 장방형인 각통을 그것에 수직한 축둘레에 회전시켜서 유로의 압력측 및 부압측에서의 속도 및 변동속도성분의 거동을 실험적으 로 조사함으로서 코리올리힘이 난류경계층 내의 유동에 미치는 영향을 구명하였다. The effect of the Coriolis force on the 2-D turbulent boundary layer which is developed in the side wall of the rotating rectangular flow channel was investigated. In this study, we measured mean velocities, turbulent velocity components(axial as well as lateral ones) and Reynolds stresses of the turbulent boundary layer. For high Reynolds number flows, the turbulent boundary layer without pressure gradient is hardly affected by the rotation. For low Reynolds number flows, however, the shearing stress at suction side decreases. Consequently, the velocity near the wall become slower so that the thickness of the viscous sublayer expands. On the other hand, the velocity near the wall at pressure side turns out increased.
