The arcades have been introduced for improving the environment of conventional markets but thermal discomfort could be occurred according to the characteristics of arcades. The purpose of this study was to compare with arcades of two traditional markets on indoor environment and find design elements that cause for built environment problems. To find the design elements which influence on the environment of the arcade, the wind tunnel tests in the arcades were conducted. The ventilation performance of the arcade was greatly influenced by the volume of arcade and the ventilation opening.

For patients with acute myocardial infarction, current management guidelines recommend implantation of a drug-eluting stent,dual antiplatelet therapy (including potent P2Y12 inhibitors) for at least 1 year, and maintenance of life-long antiplatelet therapy. However, a pilot study showed favorable results with antithrombotic therapy without stent implantation when plaque erosion, notdefinite plaque rupture, was confirmed using optical coherence tomography (OCT), despite the patients having acute myocardialinfarction. Here, we present a case where successful primary percutaneous coronary intervention was performed without stentingwith the aid of OCT in a patient with ST-elevation myocardial infarction who developed thrombotic total occlusion of the rightcoronary artery.

The openings for ventilation are very important design factor to make the comfortable and healthy arcade. The purpose of this study is to analyze airflow rate using tracer gas method in the arcade. To measure the airflow rate, we measured the concentration of the tracer with a VOCs analyzer and used the constant injection method. There are three opening ratios of 100%, 50% and 0%, respectively. Except for the opening ratio of 0%, the conventional market model has enough air flow rate. When the ventilating opening in 0%, it would be uncomfortable and unhealthy in the arcade even though there is low airflow rate in the openings between the buildings.

This study is to analyze the performance of a radiation-panel cooling system by means of CFD. In the first step of this study, the indoor thermal environment of the office space, which is air-conditioned by radiation-panel cooling system, is analyzed by field measurement and CFD (coupled simulation of convection and radiation). With comparing the both results, the validity of the CFD method is examined from the practical point of view. In the next step, the thermal environment of the model office space, which is cooled by tree types of HVAC system (radiation-panel cooling system, all-air cooling system, and hybrid air-cooling system of radiation-panel and natural ventilation), is analyzed by CFD. By installing a human model in the room model, the characteristics of heat transfer from human are also analyzed. In the case of the radiation-panel cooling system, operative temperature and MRT(Mean Radiation Temperature) of the human model become lower than those in all-air cooling system. The radiation-panel cooling system is concluded as very energy-efficient in this study.

This paper aims for evaluating the wind-driven ventilation in basement parking lots of apartment. Wind tunnel tests coupled with tracer gas method were conducted, and classified by wind directions and opening types. The test results showed that, as for wind-driven ventilation, stack type openings were more successful than scuttle vent. Additionally, the rates of air amount change by wind directions for base type(no openings) were presented in the order of W > E > SW/NE > SE/NE > S/N. Finally, according to Weibull distribution in Seoul, yearly averaged wind-driven ventilation rate was calculated.

자연환기를 건물에 적용하는 주된 목적은 "실내 환경수준을 충족시키기 위해 필요한 초기투자 및 유지비용을 절감하기 위해서" 이다. 따라서, 합리적인 환경계획을 수립하기 위해서는 "자연환기를 적용하는 것이 유효한가\ulcorner 유효하다면 어떤 전략을 채용할 것인가\ulcorner" 하는 것이 계획단계에서 반드시 검토되어져야 한다. 설계자는 합리적인 판단을 위해서 다양한 정보를 필요로 하게되며 이 과정에서 다양한 해석도구가 이용될 수 있다. 본보에서는 자연환기 설계단계에서 요구되는 각종정보와 그 해석도구의 특성에 대하여 고찰해 보고자 한다.

This study was aimed to analyze the effects that components of schooling building have on cooling and heating load. We made Mun-Hyun-Kwan an object of this research, practiced simple calculation and computer simulation. The simple calculation showed that installing of pair glass and heat insulater has energy saving effect of 33.8%, Double Glazing and heat insulater has 45.4%. Computer Simulation showed that installing of Double Glazing has heating load saving effecf of 27.6%, cooling load of 9.2%.
