Graft-copolymerization were performed with poly(chloroprene) and methyl methacrylate (MMA) in order to determined the effects of initiator concentration, reaction time, and nitrogen purging on the kinetics of the copolymerization and physical properties of the copolymer. At high concentrations of initiator poly(chloroprene-graft-methyl methacrylate) is more viscous in case that nitrogen is purged during the copolymerization, compare to the copolymerization under air environment. The conversion of MMA increases with the concentration of initiator while the elongation of the copolymer maintains relatively steady. After the copolymerization elapses around 3 hours with nitrogen purging, the viscosity of the copolymer increases rapidly. However, the viscosity is almost steady regardless of time under air environment. Whereas the conversion of MMA increases with reaction time, the efficiency of grafting decreases. The graft copolymer prepared in air has relativity constant tensile strengths of 200 Kgf/cm2. The copolymer prepared with nitrogen purging has tensile strengths grater than 250 Kgf/cm2 and shows a maximum value, 275 Kgf/cm2, at the reaction time of 2.5 hours. Drying the solvents used to make chloroprene adhesive is faster in order of methyl alcohol, methyl cyclopentane, o-xylene, and cyclohexane.
n-Heptane-EAc 혼합용매를 이용한 1-propanol 분리에 관한 연구

We studied on the phase equilibria of quaternary liquid-liquid extraction system containing 1-propanol-water-binary solvent at 25℃, n-Heptane-Ethyl acetate were used as binary solvents. Binodal curve, tie-line, distribution and selectivity for each quaternary system have been determined in order to investigate the effect of using binary solvent in extracting 1-propanol from aqueous solution. And these experimental tie-line data were also compared with the values predicted by UNIFAC model. It was shown that UNIFAC model is capable of predicting the tie-line in these quaternary systems within an average RMSD of 2.47 mol%.
NDMS 확대 구축을 통한 재난관리대응 상호협력 개선에 관한 연구

급격한 도시화로 인한 인구 밀집 환경에서 재난 발생 시 그 위험도는 심각도가 클 수 밖에 없는 환경으로 변화하게 되었으며, 이에 대한 대비를 위해 우리나라에서는 국가재난관리정보시스템(NDMS)과 재난관리자원 공동활용시스템을 구축하여 효율 적인 재난관리대응을 도모하고 있으나, 이는 중앙 정부, 지자체, 그리고 재난관리책임기관급 공공기관에서만 활용하고 있어, 대형 재난 발생 시 신속한 대응에 한계를 가지고 있으므로, 민관 합동 대응을 위해 NDMS를 재난관련 민간 기업, 기관까지 확대 적용하고, 재난관리자원 공동활용시스템 또한 재난 관련 민간 기업 자원 정보를 추가하여, 재난 발생 시 모든 역량을 투입하여 상황을 조기에 정상화시키는 것을 제안하고자 한다.
1-propanol-Water-Binary solvent를 이용한 4성분계 액-액평형

It was shown that UNFAC model is capable of predicting the tie-line in these quaternary sustems within an average RSDM of 1.45mole%
Butyl acetate-MEK 혼합용매를 이용한 초산분리에 관한 연구

We studied on the phase equilibria of quaternary liquid-liquid extraction system containing acetic acid-water-binary solvent at 25℃, MEK-butyl acetate were used as binary solvents. Binodal curve, tie-line, distribution and selectivity for each quaternary system have been determined in order to investigate the effect of using binary solvent in extracting acetic acid from aqueous solution. And these experimental tie-line data were also compared with the values predicted by WAC model. It was shown that UNIFAC model is capable of predicting the tie-line in these quaternary systems within an average RSDM of 3.76 mol%.
