        This study was conducted to examine aspects of health service availability and the satisfaction level of clients of public health centers. 351 clients who visited health centers located in Kyungsan, Chongdo, Youngchon, Kyungju, and Pohang were selected as subjects of this study. Data were collected from March 2, 2000 to April 15, 2000. The results of this study are summarized as follows. 1. 89.5% of them had experience in utilizing health services in public health centers. The rate of availing themselves of public health centers by their own decisions was highest (49.4%). 39.8% of them replied that it took below thirty minutes to visit public health centers. 42.2% of them visited public health centers to be vaccinated. 38.0% of them wanted Oriental medicine to be introduced in public health centers. 30.7% of them thought that doctors need go and see patients at their houses and 31.6% of them was satisfied with present office hours. 39.2% of them was not satisfied with the health services because public health centers were ill equipped. 65.1% of them received medical care in public health centers due to low medical charge and 91.0% of them replied that they would visit again public health centers. 35.5% of them thought that medical equipments must be increased to improve health services of public health centers. Each of the above rates were highest in each variables. 2. According to the satisfaction level with health services of public health centers, 35.2% of them was satisfied, while 9.0% of them was not satisfied. 5.7% of them was very satisfied, while 3.0% of them was not satisfied at all. 47.0% of them was satisfied only to a usual extent. 3. The variables, which significantly influenced the satisfaction level with availability of public health centers, were 'reliance on the medical staff (b=0.1749)', 'sufficiency of nurse's explanation (b=0.2093)', 'medical technician's kindness (b=0.1557)', 'simplicity of medical care procedure (b=0.2036)', 'level of medical charge (b=0.1393)', and 'satisfaction with effect of treatment (b=0.1690)'. 4. The variables, which displayed significant correlation with the satisfaction level with availability of public health centers, were 'necessity of doctor's visit to patients' houses (r=0.229)', 'reliance on the medical staff (r=0.488)', 'sufficiency of doctor's explanation (r=0.495)', 'nurse's kindness (r=0.441)', 'sufficiency of nurse's explanation (r=0.458)', 'medical technician's kindness (r=0.326)', 'the staff's kindness in civil service office (r=0.352)', 'simplicity of medical care procedure (b=0.338)', 'environment of waiting room (r=0.283)', 'convenience of availability of subsidiary facilities (r=0.275)', 'level of medical charge (r=0.335)', 'location of public health center (r=0.173)', 'medical facitities and equipment (r=0.217)', 'treatment methods (r=0.294)', and 'treatment effect (r=0.359)'. It appeared that the community residents were somewhat unsatisfied with public health centers because of problems of equipment, treatment sphere, treatment procedure, and medical personnel. Therefore. The government must focus on increase and modernization of medical equipments, the establishment of oriental medicine, and increase of medical personnel. It is important for public health centers to provide community residents with better health services in order to meet their health needs.

        체육고등학교 운동부 운영의 계획과 실제에 대한 문화기술적 사례 연구

        This research was conducted to examine cultural meanings included in the plan and reality of the management of an athletic club at physical education high school of the supervising teachers belonged to a special group, a physical education high school among special high schools. First, I could understand supervising teachers devised a documentary plan in the beginning of the semester, a practical plan made in details in a comparatively short time and by which practiced according to the documentary plan, and an extempore plan expressed by a language and practiced without any documentation or daily record of training. I could confirm these plans were complementary and given different weight depend upon the characteristics of the supervising teachers. Second, I could understand the supervising teachers played roles on volunteers for the sport group as well as an expert and manager of the sport group in the reality of managing a sport group. They had to be faithful to the roles of a specialist, a manager, and a volunteer to get a good results of the nature of the school participating in this research. Such roles of supervising teachers are essential to gain an excellent results at the presence when the result was more concerned than the process.

        효율적인 중학교 혼성반 체육수업에 대한 교사의 인식

        The purpose of this research was to gain an understanding of teachers` general perception on the co-ed physical education (PE) class at junior high schools and to identify the factors that they deem critical to ensure implementation of effective co-ed PE class. The conclusions were as follows; First, it was possible to learn the research participants` general perception on the co-ed PE class by adopting unofficial in-depth interview. Based on their personal views, research participants were divided into two groups; one that advocates co-ed classes based on the general advantages of co-ed classes, and the other group that objects to co-ed PE classes, citing the difficulties in conducting co-ed classes. And they were instructing by mobilizing diverse set of methods that are suitable for co-ed PE classes by each sports event of PE textbooks` psychomotor domains. Second, key factors were drawing from the record on the defining events, which were recorded on the cases of most effective co-ed PE classes. Third, the identified key factors were shown to the research participants again, and Q-sort technique was used to list up the factors according to the order that the research participants considered important. Fourth, it was possible to understand the definition of effective co-ed PE class as perceived by the research participants by using the record, data on the Q-sort technique and on the unofficial in-depth interviews. In conclusion, teachers who are in charge of co-ed PE classes cited `teachers` passion` as the most important factor that can control other factors in order to ensure effective co-ed PE classes. This implies that the actions of teachers, who are main parties of classes, determine the effectiveness of classes.

      • 노인의 자원봉사활동이 성공적 노화에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        This research analyzed the effects of voluntary work on the aging process by surveying the aged over 60 years old residing in Dae-gu · Kyung-Book area from Apr 6th to May 15th, 2011. Total 236 copies of questionnaire were returned and the results can be summarized as followings. 1. Females in a good health condition with a high educational and decent economical background having a religion and a good relationship with their family showed to have a high level of achievement on their voluntary work. 2. The ones in a good condition with a high educational and economical background having a good relationship with their family living with their spouse together showed to experience a more successful aging process. 3. Correlation between their level of satisfaction with voluntary work and successful aging process. Among the factors, social responsibility had the biggest correlation. 4. Factors leading to the successful aging process. Among the factors, their satisfaction level of social responsibility affected them to lead to the successful aging process the most.

        체육고등학교 운동부 감독교사의 역할 수행에 대한 사례 연구

        이 연구는 특수목적고등학교인 체육고등학교라는 특정 집단에 소속된 운동부 감독교사의 역할 수행에 대한 실제 속에 내포된 문화적 의미들을 탐색하기 위한 목적으로 진행되었다. 연구대상은 연구참여학교 감독교사 중에서 이 연구의 연구 취지에 동의한 7명으로 구성하였으며, 이 연구에서 사용된 연구기법은 문화기술적 사례연구로 문헌조사, 심층면담 및 참여관찰, 결정적 사건 기록법이며 전체적인 절차는 문제파악 및 연구 계획수립, 자료수집, 자료 분석, 보고단계로 진행하였다. 체육고등학교 운동부 감독교사의 역할 수행에 있어서 연구참여자들은 운동부 전문가와 운동부 관리자, 운동부 봉사자의 역할을 수행하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 첫째, 운동부 전문가로서의 연구참여자들은 이미 체육고등학교와 같은 전문 엘리트 선수를 육성하는 특수목적을 가진 학교의 운동부를 운영하고 있는 것만으로도 전문성을 인정받은 것이지만 이에 만족하지 않고 보다 더 나은 운동기술 지도 방법을 개발하고 적용하여 훈련의 질을 높이며 경기력을 향상시키고 있었다. 둘째, 운동부 관리자로서의 연구참여자들은 담당운동부와 관계되는 행정업무와 선수선발과 진로지도 등이 포함되는 선수관리 업무, 학생, 학교관리자, 학부모, 코치, 동료교사, 종목관련 담당자와의 폭넓고 친밀한 인간관계 유지, 예산확보와 예산운용, 지원금확보 등을 포함하는 예산관리와 같은 영역들에서 그 역할을 다하고 있었다. 셋째, 운동부 봉사자로서의 연구참여자들은 담당운동부의 효율적인 운영을 위하여 개인적인 희생을 감수하면서 학생들에 대한 생활지도, 상담활동, 졸업 후 지도활동과 같은 활동들에 열정을 바치고 있다. This study was conducted under the goal of examining the cultural meaning involved in the actual role operation of director teachers of an athletic club affiliated with a particular group, a physical education high school as a special purpose high school. The subject of this study was composed of seven members of study-related schools` director teachers who agreed to the object of this study. Cultural-descriptive case study, such as record-reference, in-depth interview, participant observation, decisive event record method, was used as study techniques. The whole procedures are as follows: Problem grasping, establishment of study plan, data collection, data analysis, and report. In regard of role operation of the director teacher of an athletic club at a physical education high school, it was found out that research participants played roles of an expert, a manager and a service provider for the athletic club. First, research participants as experts had already gained acknowledgment of their professionalism while operating an athletic club at a physical education high school. However, they developed and applied better athletic technical instruction methods, not remaining satisfied, by which they enhanced training quality and competition skills. Second, research participants as managers of athletic clubs played their roles with respect to administrative business related to an athletic club, in charge of managing business for players including player selection and course guidance etc., while maintaining broad and close relationship with students, school managers, students` parents, coaches, colleague teachers, and persons in charge of applicable events, etc., and acquiring and operating the budget including collection of supporting fund, etc. Third, research participants as service provides for athletic clubs sacrificed their personal lives for efficient operation of their athletic clubs and devoted their passion to such activities as living guidance for students, counseling and harvesting.

        운동부 학생선수를 위한 맞춤형 교육과정 운영 방향

        이 연구의 목적은 설립 목적이 상이한 고등학교의 교육과정을 비교 분석하여 학생선수들에게 필요한 맞춤형 교육과정 운영 방향을 찾는 것이다. 설립 목적이 다른 5개 연구참여학교의 교육과정 문서를 수집하여 각 학교별로 2017학년도 신입생의 교육과정 편제표를 교과영역 중심으로 비교 분석하였고, 동료 간 협의를 통해 자료의 진실성을 확보하고자 하였다. 주요 연구 결과는 학생선수들이 학교 교육과정 편성에 참여하거나 선택할 수 있는 기회가 없는 것으로 나타났고, 체육 전문교과의 비 율도 설립 목적이 다른 고등학교의 전문교과 비율 보다 낮아서 전공하는 운동 종목실기로 진학이 결정되는 학생선수들 입장에서는 괴리감이 큰 교육과정 운영이었다. 연구결과와 시사점을 토대로 교육과정 편성․운영에서 학생선수를 먼저 고려하는 인식의 전환, 체육중점학급 확대를 통한 맞춤형 교육과정 운영, 학교운동부를 스포츠클럽으로 전환하여 학생선수들의 전공과 진로에 대한 교육이 선순환 할 수 있는 구조를 제안하였다. The purpose of this study was to Customize curriculum operation for student sports players of school athletic clubs by comparing and analyzing the curriculum of high schools that have different goals of school establishment. To achieve the purpose, curriculum documents from five high schools that have different goals of establishment are used. The collected data were compared and analyzed the curriculum formation for freshmen who entered each school in 2017. Peer debriefing established the trustworthiness of data. The major research result shows that student sports players didn’t have opportunity to participate or select school curriculum formation and the ratio of physical education professional courses is lower than the professional courses of other high schools which have different establishment goals. It makes student sports players who advance to university with practical techniques that they specialize feel a separation. Based on the study result, I suggest the change of recognition that considers student sports players first in curriculum formation and operation, customized curriculum operation through the expansion of physical education focused classes and change the school athletic club to sports club.

        체육고등학교 운동부 감독교사의 운동부 운영인식에 대한 사례연구

        The purpose of this research is to observe cultural meanings connoted in recognition about operating athletic department of directing teacher who belongs to physical education high school which is special-purpose high school. As a result of research, I could find the change in perception of operating recognition of study participants. The result as analysis of interview shows that the participants become to have recognizing the value of athletic operations, building their belief and will toward the athletic operation, self-realization through the athletic operation, and reflecting the athletic operation that they had had. These can be explained as the evolution of recognition in terms of temporal concept and value-oriented aspects. These are recognition of the evolutionary stages of study participants about athletic operation. Step1 is the stage that they start to recognize the value of athletic operation before and after getting posted as a PE teacher. Step2 is the stage that they build the belief about athletic operation while working as a PE teacher. Step 3 is to implement their will for athletic operation. Step 4 is to reflect their operating style about athletic department. And finally step 5 is self-realization through the athletic operation. All study participants have commonly undergone 1, 2, 3 steps, and they recognize now they are in between step 4 and 5. Before they became athletic department director, they when being PE teachers were interested in the operation for athletic department, and after becoming athletic department director, they have recognized these stages while they experienced and felt many things, operating department by themselves.
