황순원의 단편소설 「황소들」에 대한 담화 기호학적 분석

프랑스 기호학자 쟈크 퐁타닐이 1999년 구조주의의 한계를 극복하려는 시도로 담화 기호학을 발표하였다. 담화 기호학에서는 의식 구조를 연구하는 현상학으로의 접근을 시도하여 기호학의 지평을 넓혔다. 현상학적 접근은 의미가 지각에서 드러나는 방법과 의미를 생성하는 방식, 그리고 세계에 대한 감각적 파악을 의미 세계로 변형시키는 방법을 연구하는 것이다. 「황소들」은 주인공 소년 바우의 내면세계에서 일어나고 있는 의식의 흐름을 기술한 작품이라는 점에서, 현상학적 접근으로 살펴보았다. 수사학적 접근은 발화의 차원에서 다루어지면서 발화행위 이론과 직접 관련되며, 수사학의 문채(figures)와 전의(tropes)가 발화행위의 지배를 받는다. 기존의 수사학적 분석은 평면적 의미 분석으로 역동적인 관점이 부족했지만, 담화 기호학에서는 발화체와 발화행위의 분석이 서로 보완적으로 기능하는 깊이 있는 입체적 해석을 시도하였다. 「황소들」은 주인공 소년 바우의 시선을 통해 농민 운동을 형상화하고 있으며, 우리 신문학사상 진지한 업적으로 평가되고 있다. 본고는 집단적 움직임에 대한 형상화를 잘 이루었다고 평가되고 있는 이 작품을 담화 기호학의 현상학적 접근과 수사학적 접근을 중심으로 고찰하여 이론의 유효성과 가능성을 입증하였다. In 1999, the French semiotician Jacques Fontanille published his work on discourse semiotics as an attempt to overcome the limitations of structuralism. Discourse semiotics has expanded the realm of semiotics by taking a phenomenological approach that examines the structure of consciousness. Phenomenology pays special attention to the operation of human consciousness, which, instead of staying put, moves from one place to another―unbeknownst to its agent. This paper examines “Bulls” through a phenomenological approach as the short story depicts the stream of consciousness that unfolds within the inner world of Pau, the young male protagonist. The rhetorical approach to literary analysis works at the level of the speech act and directly relates to speech act theory. In rhetorics, figures and tropes are dominated by speech acts. Whereas conventional rhetorical analysis lacks a kinetic perspective as it revolves around flat semantic inspections, the discourse semiotics approach applied in this paper allows for an indepth multidimensional analysis where the analyses of enonce and enonciation complement each other. Presenting a peasant movement to the reader through the eyes of the young male protagonist Pau, “Bulls” is considered a significant literary feat in the history of Korea’s New Literature as the work is highly regarded for its impressive depiction of a communal movement. This paper reinterprets and reevaluates the story under a new light, mainly through a rhetorical approach and a phenomenological approach that hinges on discourse semiotics.

Cette e´tude a pour but d`examiner les modalite´s, une des the´ories essentielles de la se´miotique de A. J. Greimas, et de les appliquer a` l`analyse concre`te d`un texte. Dans la se´miotique des passions, on met en place le niveau des pre´conditions sous le niveau se´mio-narratif en vue de rendre compte des manifestations ondulatoires insolites reconnues dans le discours. A ce niveau les quatre modulations, ouvrante, clo^turante, cursive et ponctualisante deviennent respectivement les quatre modalite´s, vouloir, savoir, pouvoir et devoir au niveau se´mio-narratif. Le niveau se´mio-narratif est la partie la plus efficace et chercheuse du parcours ge´ne´ratif. La mise en place des sujets modaux doit s`accompagner d`une the´orie des simulacres modaux. Les sujets modaux sont de´finis par les modalisations des sujets de faire et des sujets d`e´tat, et ils sont les instruments du de´doublement passionnel. Un dispositif modal est aussi un instrument pour l`analyse se´miotique. Au niveau discursif on peut distinguer l`aspectualisation et la disposition. Les trois instances, modulations, modalisations, et aspectualisations, distribue´es respectivement sur la tensivite´ phorique, le niveau se´mio-narratif et la manifestation discursive, constituent le triangle the´orique dont nous nous efforc¿ons de montrer la valeur heuristique. On obtiendrait donc la repre´sentation suivante : modulations discre´tisation convocation aspectualisation modalisations Pour conclure on peut analyser scientifiquement la passion au moyen de la the´orie des modalite´s. Ainsi la description se´miotique devient beaucoup plus fine et pre´cise. On devra ve´rifier la pertinence de cette the´orie en l`appliquant a` des textes divers.

그레마스를 중심으로 한 서사 기호학은 정념 기호학을 거쳐 담화 기호학으로 발전하였다. 특히 독자적으로 퐁타닐이 정립한 담화 기호학의 관점은 활동 중인 담화, 살아있는 담화, 생성 중인 의미작용이다. 담화 기호학은 기존 연구의 중심이었던 불연속성에서 연속성으로 이동하며, 발화되고 있는 담화를 파악할 수 있는 도구를 구축하고, 그 동안 많이 연구되지 않은 감각과 지각, 발화행위와 발화작용에 다시 중요성을 부여한다. 그럼으로써 문학적 담화는 특정한 형식을 나타내는 개인적인 발화로 접근하게 된다. 본 연구는 제 1회 이상(李箱) 문학상 대상인 『서울의 달빛 0장』을 담화 기호학의 관점에서 해석하고 재조명해 보는 것이다. 이 중편소설은 1960년대 감수성의 혁명이라는 찬사를 받으며 등단한 김승옥의 후반기 작품에 해당한다. 우선 담화적 접근에서는 텍스트를 연동작용 → 분리작용 → 재연동작용으로 나누어 살펴보고, 수사학적 접근에서는 표준수사도식 3단계를 인용된 텍스트에 적용하여 보았다. 그 다음 텍스트 전체 줄거리의 변화를 긴장 도식에 표현하였고, 마지막으로 현상학적 접근에서는 텍스트에서 외수용적 지각과 내수용적 지각이 신체에 의해 연결되는 방식을 살펴보고 분석하였다. La presente etude a pour but d`analyser le grand prix de la litterature Lee Sang: le Clair de lune de Seoul: chapitre 0 (1977) de Kim Seung-Ok du point de vue de la semiotique du discours. Dans la semiotique du discours, oeuvre que J. Fontanille a publie en 1999, le point de vue d`ensemble est celui du discours en acte et du discours vivant. Dans cette perspective, il prefere une schematisation de la signification en devenir a sa formalisation achevee. Il deplace l`interet pour les structures vers les operations et les actes, les oppositions discretes vers les differences tensives et graduelles. Kim Seung-Ok est l`ecrivain le plus important des annees soixante. Il est apprecie pour avoir renove la sensibilite en representant le neant et la corruption de la vie de cette epoque. Nous avons analyse son roman dans une approche du discours, de la rhetorique, du schema tensif et de la phenomenologie. En approche du discours nous avons pu comprendre que l`embrayage et le debrayage sont des instruments d`analyse tres utiles. L`auteur a beaucoup utilise les figures de la rhetorique. En approche de la rhetorique les metaphores dans le texte ont pu etre analysees par le schema rhetorique canonique. En approche du schema tensif on y a represente la possession communale et exclusive. En approche de la phenomenologie nous avons pu saisir que l`exteroceptivite(plan de l`expression), l`interoceptivite(plan du contenu) et la proprioceptivite sont des dispositifs tres efficaces pour analyser le texte. Les oeuvres de Kim Seung-Ok sont connues pour etre interpretees de facons tres variees et permettre de nombreux commentaires. Notre present article a donc pour objet l`analyse d`une de ces oeuvres en prenant comme methodologie celle de la semiotique du discours qui a prouve son efficacite pour l`etude de cette oeuvre.

The concentrations of serum proteins fractions and their electrophoretical patterns were investigated in 135 patients with coal workers' pneumoconiosis who participated in confirmative examination for pneumoconiosis in December 1989. Their radiographical profusions were classified as 1/0 or more. Agarose film and phosphoric acid-sodium hydroxide buffer(pH 9.6) were used for electrophoresis. Concentration of each protein fractions and electrophoretical patterns seemd to be equivalent to reference values. Serum ${\alpha}_1$- and $\beta$-globulin concentrations, however, were significantly different (p<0.50) among categories of small opacity profusions and showed the lowest level in the group of category 1. Albumin concentratins decreased and ${\alpha}_2$- globulin concentrations increased significantly (p<0.05) in the group of complicated with pulmonary tuberculosis. $\gamma$-globulin concentrations were not varied by category of profusions nor by pulmonary tuberculosis complication.
