소비자들이 상품에 대한 미학적인 측면을 점점 더 풍요시 하게 됨에 따라 현대 디자인은 기존의 개념을 탈피하여 새롭고 부드러우며 유연한 감성이 요구되고 있다. 디자인의 궁극적인 목표가 "소비자의 꿈을 현실로 만들어 주는 것"이라면 이러한 목표에 이르기 위한 "창의적 아이디어발상"은 디자이너가 갖추어야 할 가장 중요한 능력 중의 하나이다. 따라서 본 연구는 창의적 아이디어 발상법에 대한 선행연구의 프로세스와 방법론의 문제점을 파악하고, 이를 보완한 새로운 디자인 방법론을 제시하고자 한다. 이와 같은 연구목적을 이루기 위해 사례연구로써 컴퓨터를 이용한 창의적 아이디어 발상법을 제안하여 디자이너에게 실제 디자인현장에서 활용할 수 있도록 하며 창의적 아이디어발상법의 개발에 대한 효과와 새로운 가능성을 제시하고자 한다.

황순원의 단편소설 「그늘」에 대한 담화 기호학적 분석

In the last century, French semiologiste A. J. Greimas constructed a theory to scientifically analyze texts thereby founding narrative semiotics, and published the Semiotics of Passions in collaboration with his best pupil J. Fontanille. Narrative semiotics and semiotics of passions are structural semiotics, and both studied static systems and universal and abstract structures. In 1999, Fontanille felt limitations in regarding discourses as being static and stationary and considered discourses as being dynamic and active to present discourse semiotics. This semiotics again studied utterance that had been excluded thus far and attached importance to locutionary acts and enunciation. From the viewpoint of active discourses, all studies of semantic actions can be said to maintain close relationships with utterance. At the phenomenological level, discourse instances carry out activities necessary for the realization of discourses, including a few characteristics such as location, field, and actants. The first activity is the positioning of the body and is used as the sourse of all actions. The second activity is reference, dissociation and interlocking action. When positioning has been performed in the first stage, the reference acts. The dissociation has the orientation of disjunction while the interlocking action has the orientation of connection. At the rhetorical level, the subject refers to a subject that has with judgment and abstractive power, while the non-subject refers to a subject who cannot act independently. Position actants refer to the source and the target of an action before it becomes a subject or an object, and provides the initial rule and orientation that precede the emergence of a semantic action. Shade is a work written by Hwang Soon-won under Japanese colonial rule, and well depicts the lonely figure of human beings that changed in response to the trend of the times in the dark reality of our nation in 1941. This paper examined the psychological novel Shade from the perspective of discourse semiotics, focusing on phenomenological and rhetorical dimensions to prove the potential and validity of the theory. 지난 세기에 프랑스의 기호학자 그레마스는 텍스트를 과학적으로 분석하기 위한 이론을 구축하여 서사 기호학을 창시하였고, 수제자 퐁타닐과 공저로 『정념의 기호학』 을 발간하였다. 서사 기호학과 정념 기호학은 구조 기호학으로 모두 정적인 체계, 보편적이고 추상적인 구조를 연구대상으로 하였다. 그레마스 사후, 1999년에 퐁타닐은 담화를 정태적이고 고정된 것으로 보는 것에 한계를 느끼고, 역동적이고 활동적인 것으로 고찰하여 담화 기호학을 발표하였다. 이 기호학은 그동안 배제되었던 발화를 다시연구대상으로 삼고 발화행위와 발화작용에 중요성을 부여하였다. 활동 중인 담화의 관점에서 의미작용의 연구는 모두 발화와 밀접한 관계를 유지한다고 할 수 있다. 현상학적 차원에서 담화 현동태는 담화의 실현에 필요한 활동을 수행하는데, 위치, 장, 행위소 등 소수의 특성을 포함한다. 첫 번째 활동은 위치 결정이며, 모든 작용의 기점으로 사용된다. 두 번째 활동은 지시, 분리작용과 연동작용이다. 첫 단계에서 위치 결정이 수행되면 지시가 작동하여 분리작용을 한다. 이 작용은 이접의 방향성을 띠며 연동작용은 연접의 방향성을 띤다. 수사학적 차원에서 주체는 판단력과 추상력을 지닌 주체를 말하며, 비-주체는 자주적 행동을 하지 못하는 주체를 가리킨다. 위치 행위소는주체와 대상이 되기 전에 행위의 기점과 목표를 말하는데, 의미작용의 출현에 선행되는 최초의 규칙과 방향을 제공한다. 「그늘」은 황순원이 일제 치하에서 집필한 작품으로, 1941년 우리 민족의 어두운 현실 상황에서 시대의 변화를 수용할 수밖에 없는 인간의 고독한 모습이 잘 묘사되어 있다. 본고에서는 담화 기호학 이론이 「그늘」과 같은심리 소설에도 적용가능한지 타진해 보고자 하였으며, 특히 이론의 현상학적 차원과수사학적 차원을 중심으로 고찰하였다.

공공디자인의 이해와 문제점 해결을 위한 제안

최근 들어 중앙정부 및 지방자치단체 그리고 디자인 관련기관의 공공디자인에 대한 관심이 높아지면서 많은 공공디자인이 추진되고 있다. 얼마전 공공디자인학회 설립과 다양한 디자인 정책은 공공디자인의 사회적 관심뿐만 아니라 다양한 공공디자인의 실제적 사업으로 이어지고 있다. 그러나 아직도 국내 공공디자인은 해외 선진국들의 사례에 비추어 볼 때 초보적인 수준에 머물러 있다. 거리, 지하철, 공원, 도로, 공공장소 등 모든 도시 공간에서 진행되고 있지만 높은 수준의 공공디자인 도입은 아직 초보수준이다. 따라서 이제라도 중앙정부와 각 지방자치단체는 공공디자인 사업의 진행에 있어서 보다 체계적인 접근방식의 연구가 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 공공디자인에 대한 정확한 이해와 디자인방법에 대한 구체적이고 전문적인 내용이 연구되고 교육되지 못하는 우리나라의 현실을 감안하여 공공디자인에 대한 기본적인 이해를 돕고 공공디자인의 현상분석을 통해 문제점을 추출하며 그에 대한 해결안을 제시하고자 한다. 위와 같은 연구는 공공디자인에 대한 올바른 이해와 효과적인 접근방법을 제시하는 것으로 앞으로 공공디자인 정책수립 및 평가, 관리에 있어 기초적으로 활용 할 수 있을 것이다. In recent years, as central and local governments and design-related institutions are growing more and more interested in public design, society of public design which was established recently and a variety of design policies do not only draw the social attention but has also led to the actual business of various public designs. However, upon looking at examples of developed countries, domestic public designs are still in the entry level. Public designs are being conducted in all urban spaces such as streets, subways, parks, roads and public places, but the introduction of high-level public designs is still in the entry level. Thus, even now, central and local governments need the research with more systematic approach in order to conduct the public design project. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to help understand the basics of public designs, to extract the problems through analysis of phenomenon of public design and to present the solutions for it with a consideration of our country's reality in which the accurate understanding about public designs and the detailed and professional contents about design methods have not been studied nor educated. This study could be used as the basic material upon establishing, evaluating and managing the public design policy in the future by correctly understanding public design and presenting the effective approach methods.

GSFM 펄스를 이용한 다중 수직지향각 기반 선체고정소나 능동 표적 탐지

In decades, active sonar, which transmits signals and detects incident signals reflected by underwater targets, has been significantly studied since passive sonar in Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) detection performance becomes lowered, as underwater threats become their radiated noise reduced. In general, active sonar using Hull-Mounted Sonar (HMS) adjusts vertical tilt (depression) and sequentially transmits multiple Linear Frequency Modulation (LFM) subpulses which have non-overlapped bands, i. e. 1 kHz ~ 2 kHz, 2 kHz ~ 3 kHz, in order to reduce shadow zones. Recently, however, Generalized SFM (GSFM), which is generalized form of SFM, is proposed, and it is confirmed that subpulses of GSFM have orthogonality among each other depending on setting of GSFM parameters. Hence, in this paper, we applied GSFM to active target detection using HMS to improve the performance by the signal processing gain obtained from enlarged bandwidths of GSFM subpulses compared to those of LFM subpulses. Through simulation, we verified that when the number of subpulses is three, the matched filter gain of GSFM is approximately 5 dB higher than that of LFM. 수중표적의 저소음화로 표적의 방사소음이 감소함에 따라 수동소나의 한계가 나타나면서 신호를 송신하고표적 반사 신호를 탐지하는 능동탐지에 대한 연구가 활발해 지고 있다. 일반적으로 선체고정소나(Hull-Mounted Sonar, HMS)를 이용한 능동탐지 시 음파가 도달하지 않는 음영구역을 줄이기 위해 수직지향각을 조정하면서 다수의Linear Frequency Modulation(LFM) 부펄스를 대역분할하여 순차적으로 송신한다. 하지만 최근에 Sinusoidal Frequency Modulation(SFM)의 일반화된 형태인 Generalized SFM(GSFM) 펄스가 제안되었고, 파라미터 설정에따라 GSFM 부펄스 간에 직교성이 확인되었다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 GSFM을 선체고정소나의 다중 수직지향각 능동탐지에 활용함으로써 부펄스의 대역폭 사용을 극대화 하여 신호처리 이득에 따른 능동탐지 성능을 향상 시킬 수 있음을 보였다. 모의실험을 통해 부펄스가 3개일 때, GSFM이 LFM 대비 약 5 dB 정도의 정합필터 이득이 있음을 확인하였다.
