        통전적 모델을 통한 효과적인 북한선교전략

        홍기영(Hong, Gi-young) 한국선교신학회 2008 선교신학 Vol.18 No.-

This study focused on developing a comprehensive strategy for effective missions in North Korea in light of holistic mission. North Korea is a closed nation which calls for some practical mission strategies to be evangelized according to divine providence. Both the work of Holy Spirit and the work of the missionaries are essential to extend the kingdom of God in North Korea. First of all, this study pointed out the importance of developing a comprehensive mission strategy. The mission strategy is based on the concept of Missio Dei (God’s Mission) and the perspective of God‘s kingdom. In other words, both ecumenical and evangelical approaches are needed for a holistic mission in North Korea. This study found out six mission strategies as follows: 1) First, rebuild churches in North Korea through the existing house churches. 2) Second, focus on the people who have escaped from North Korea for freedom. 3) Third, encourage NGO (Nongovernmental Organizations) missions. 4) Fourth, carry out missions in cooperation with the North Korea Christian Federation. 5) Fifth, pursue peaceful unification between North and South Korea. 6) Sixth, carry out missions through Koreans who are living in China. Extending God’s kingdom in North Korea can be possible when some practical mission strategies are well developed and effectively applied. The mission strategies as well as the church’s ministries need to be contextualized so that the Gospel message can be meaningfully communicated to the people. As a result, a lot of true disciples of Jesus Christ can be produced. God will be glorified when many people in North Korea experience becoming a Christian. All Christians in North and South Korea need to arise and shine God‘s light to the world. 7) “Arise, Shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.” (Is. 60:1).

        요한복음에 나타난 선교학적 주제들의 고찰

        홍기영(Hong, Gi-young) 한국선교신학회 2009 선교신학 Vol.21 No.-

This study attempts to discover the missiological themes revealed in the Gospel of John. This study tries to apply missiological insights discovered in the Gospel of John to modern missions and mission studies. The Gospel of John includes some significant missiological themes and insights. First, the Gospel of John shows that God loves the world so much, as He sent His only Son to the world to save it (3:16-17). Further, the Gospel of John asserts that there is eternal life only in Jesus Christ (14:6). The Father’s will is eternal life given to those who believe in His son (6:40). The purpose of missions is to give eternal life to the people whoever believe in Him as their Savior and Lord (20:21). Second, the Gospel of John demonstrates that the Word came into the world as a human to fulfill God’s salvific purpose (1:14; 5:24; I Jn 4:2). He humbly served the people and told them to be born again of the water and spirit (3:5) and gave them eternal life(Phil. 2:6-8). Finally, He died on the cross to save them. He proved that He truly loves them through His death (7:33-34; 12;23-24; 14:19; 17:1, 4; 19:20; Phil. 2:8). His service is a perfect model of incarnational missions. Third, the Gospel of John affirms that the Triune God is involved in mission. God the Father sent His only Son and the Holy Spirit to the world (1:1-5; 3:16; 8:42; 14:16; 15:26; 16:28; 20:21). Jesus Christ also sent the Holy Spirit to the world (15:26; 16:7) and His disciples (17:18; 20:21). The disciples fully received the Holy Spirit, which empowered them to go into the world. Fourth, the Gospel of John explains that the Word is universal for all kinds of people. Jesus Christ was sent not only to the Jews, but also to the Gentiles. Whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life (3:16). His sacrificial death provides atonement for all people's sins (12:24; 14:3; 16:20; 17:1, 4; 19:30). John 10:16 makes it clear that the Gospel of John seeks universal salvation, that is, salvation for all mankind. The “other sheep” needs to be included in His fold. Fifth, the Gospel of John claims that the Holy Spirit was sent to the world through God the Father and His son Jesus Christ (14:16; 26; 15:26; 16:7; 20:22). The Holy Spirit is with the believers (14:16), teaches them (14:26), reminds them of what He told them (14:26), and convicts them about sin, righteousness, and judgement (16:8). The Holy Spirit gives witnesses to the Word (15:26), and helps the believers forgive sins (20:23). The disciples need to receive the Holy Spirit before they are sent to the world (20:22). Sixth, the Gospel of John tells that God the Father and His son are essentially one as the doctrine of the Trinity teaches. The Triune God works together in terms of creation, salvation, sanctification, and glorification. The Gospel of John teaches the believers a new commandment: love one another (13:34). World missions depend upon the Great Commission (20:21) and the Great Commandment (13:34). The Body of Jesus Christ builds up each other when they are experiencing cultural diversity. In this context, the Gospel of John is a book of missions. The Gospel of John testifies about the mission of the Triune God. Further, it talks about the mission of the disciples as well as the missions of the community of faith. The Gospel of John reveals God’s will for the salvation of the world. His will is universal for salvation regardless of race, color, sex, age, and culture. God will be glorified when salvation will be completed universally through the church.

Ceria is one of the most important catalytic materials which can be used in three-way catalysts, waste water treatment, petroleum refining, etc. So far, many methods have been studied to produce ceria nanoparticles. In this study, ceria nanoparticles were prepared via solvothermal synthesis using supercritical methanol in short reaction time using a batch reactor. The size of synthesized ceria nanoparticles in supercritical methanol is 6 nm without capping agent, which is smaller than that made in supercritical water at the same conditions of 400 oC and 30 MPa. Size difference results from density and critical point difference between water and methanol and slow reaction rate at the surface of ceria particles in supercritical methanol which reduces crystal growth rate. Several organic compounds were added to modify the surface of ceria nanoparticles, and in-situ surface modification was confirmed by FT-IR and TGA analysis. Surface modified ceria nanoparticles have excellent dispersibility in organic solvent. Size and shape of surface modified ceria particles can be controlled by adjusting molar ratio of modifier to precursor and selection of modifier.

        김영선,이태영,한찬희,유명희,김철희,변동원,진소영,남일송,류은상,홍기영,윤석기,서교일 대한내과학회 2001 대한내과학회지 Vol.61 No.3

Primary thyroid lymphomas constitute of up to 5% of all thyroid malignancies. Recently, mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphoma are relatively recognized as a B cell subset of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. MALT-lymphomas are thought to develop from acquired lymphocytic tissue during the course of a chronic inflammatory or autoimmune process. In the thyroid , which is normally devoid of lymphocytic tissue, chronic autoimmune thyroiditis (Hashimoto's disease) has been associated with an increased risk of lymphoma, including MALT type. The clinical presentations include the enlarging of the neck mass, dysphagia, hoarsenes and choking or cold thyroid nodule. We report a case of MALToma of the thyroid accompanied by Hashimoto's thyroiditis with a review of the literature.(Korean J Med 61:281-285, 2001)

Adult onset Still's disease(AOSD) is characterized by a high spiking fever, a transient rash, and arthritis. The clinical features include lymphadenopathy, hepatosplenomegaly, serositis, and sore throat. Leukocytosis is generally marked, but rheumatoid factor and ANA tests are negative. Respiratory system involvement is more common in AOSD than it is in childhood. The most common symptom is pleuritic chest pain with or without effusions. Rare cases of interstitial pneumonitis accompanied by AOSD have been reported. We report a case of AOSD with interstitial pneumonitis, which developed in two consecutive years and was successfully controlled with corticosteroid therapy.
