With the advent of fast power devices, the high dv/dt voltage produced by PWM inverts have been found to cause EMI noise, shaft voltage and bearing current. This paper describes the application of newly developed Conducted EMI reduction SVPWM technique in induction motor drives. The newly developed common mode voltage reduction SVPWM technique don't use any zero-vector states for inverter control, hence it can restrict the common mode voltage more than conventional PWM technique. The validity of the proposed technique by software approach is verified through simulation and experimental results. 고속 스위칭 소자의 출현과 함께 높은 전압 상승률(dv/dt)은 PWM 인버터에 EMI 노이즈 및 축 전압 그리고 베어링 누설전류 등의 문제 등을 발생시키고 있다. 본 논문에서는 유도전동기 시스템에서의 새롭게 개발된 전도성 EMI 저감 SVPWM 기법의 응용에 대하여 기술한다. 새롭게 개발된 커먼모드 전압제거 SVPWM 기법은 인버터 제어에 있어서 영벡터 상태를 사용하지 않고 종래의 PWM 기법에 비하여 커먼모드 전압의 감소가 가능하다. 소프트웨어 접근에 의한 제안된 기법의 타당성은 시뮬레이션과 실험적 결과를 통하여 확인하였다.

This paper described control of induction motor using voltage source inverter applied to orientation vector control which was indiract vector control. IGBT which has good switching characteristic was used to compose of converter, and speed response characteristic was improved, because of doing speed and current control. And processing speed and reliability was improved, using TMS320C31 and EPLD to compose of controller.

High frequency common mode voltage produced by power inverters are a major cause of conducted EMI, creating motor ground currents, bearing currents and other harmful by products. This paper focuses on a new SVPWM method with random PWM injection to reduce conducted EMI noise. A New PWM technique associated with the common mode voltage can be significantly reducing and contributes to mitigate. The common mode voltage to 50% in comparison with that for conventional SVPWM technique. Validation of the theory and reduction methods are then performed experiment ally based on an induction motor drive.

Recently, increasing of portable, importance of battery has identified. And battery is used for non-utility generation and emergency power for communication power, it has researched for power of electric vehicle. But it is disadvantage that life cycle of battery is decreased by overcharging and overdischarging. In this paper, using two phase with combined step-down chopper, we controlled charging and discharging of battery. It is dereased ripple of current and charging time with continuous current by using two phase with combined step-down chopper. Detecting the full charging voltage and cut-off voltage, it is prohibit overcharging and overdischarging with microprocessor.

PWM converter has better power factor and low harmonic components than conventional diode rectifiers and phase controlled rectifier. Also the DC link voltage can be regulated fast and stable against the variation in the load. In order to regulate for DC link voltage, rapid current control is need for source current control. This paper focuses on the improvement of quickness of current controller to know the transient state characteristics of regulated DC link voltage against the variation in the load. To do this, it is adopted to three phase voltage type PWM converter with space vector pulse width modulation(SVPWM) method and synchronously rotating d, q axis current. Each d, q axis current is controlled independently. To control d, q axis current, Current control methods to be applied in system are PI current control and Predictive current control respectively. As a result, Transient response characteristic of Predictive current controller is superior to PI current controller.
