This is case a report that is the restoration of depressed facial contour by autogenous dermal graft after industrial accident. Patient, 34 years old male, was referred to our department from local hospital for evaluation and definitive treatment of the traumatic injuries on the face which was developed by industrial accident. On the basis of clinical and radiographic examination, he was diagnosed as the rupture of facial and internal maxillary artery, compound comminuted fractures of right mandible and maxilla, fracture of the right zygomatic arch, multiple laceration on the right face and multiple teeth injuries. Ruptured arteries and multiple lacerated wound were treated with ligation of bleeding points and emergency suture under general anesthesia via tracheostomy site. Fractured mandible was treated with open reduction and interosseous and intermaxillary fixation with arch bar and wiring. On the 4 months after trauma, depressed facial contour was restorated with dermal graft. On the 50 das after dermal graft, depressed facial contour was restorated without complication.

In this paper, we proposed a fuzzy logic algorithm that controls the pulse width of the PWM signal which is fed to the DC motor in the treadmill for controlling the velocity of the DC motor in the system The fuzzy control circuit has been applied to the previous PWM switching control block and the velocity signal of DC motor is fed back to the feedback fuzzy control circuit to generate the stable DC motor control signal. The proposed circuit not only shows the stable control of DC motor but also consists of the simple circuit using the full wave rectified power signal with reducing the LC in the rectifier circuit

For efficient evaluation of the port policy, it is very useful to analyze statistically the information of present port logistics. In this paper, we mainly discuss about the effects of Hanshin port identification in 2007. By using large sample data called AIS, we assess the statistical significance and evaluate the effects of the policy of Hanshin port identification statistically. Since the results of statistical analysis about the effects of the identification left a lot to be desired, we provide some specific suggestions for the Japanese government`s port policies with the statistical results of this paper.

구치부 단일 임플란트의 생존율에 대한 후향적 연구

Purpose: Single implants, of which screw loosening has been observed frequently, presents problems such as fixtures fractures, marginal bone loss, and inflammation of the soft tissue around the implant. However, the single implant is more conservative, cost effective, and predictable compared to the 3 unit bridge with respect to the long-term outcome. This study evaluated the survival rate as well as future methods aimed at increasing the survival rate in single implants in posterior teeth. Methods: Among the implants placed in the Dankook University Dental Hospital department of Oral & Maxillofacial surgery from January 2001 to June 2008, 599 implants placed in the maxillar and mandibular posterior were evaluated retrospectively. Survival rates were investigated according to implant location, cause of tooth loss, gender, age, general disease, fixture diameter and length, surface texture, implant type and shape, presence of bone graft, surgery stage, surgeons, bone quality and opposite teeth. Results: Out of 599 single implants in posterior teeth, 580 implants survived and the survival rate was 96.8%. The difference in survival rate was statistically significant according to the implant location. The survival rate was low (84.2%) in implants exhibiting a wide diameter (${\geq}5.1mm$) and the surface treated by the acid etching group demonstrated a significantly lower survival rate (91.1%). One stage surgical procedure, which implemented a relatively better bone quality survival rate (100%), was higher than the two stage surgical procedure (96.1%). The survival rate of type IV bone quality (75%) was significantly lower than the other bone quality. Conclusion: Single posterior teeth implant treatments should use an improved surface finishing fixture as well as careful and safe procedures when performing implant surgery in the maxilla premolar and molar regions since bone quality is poor.

전문대학 공학계열 학생의 기초학습능력 수준에 따른 학업성취도 결과 사례연구: I 전문대학 사례를 중심으로

The influences of the basic academic skills to the scholastic achievement grades has been researched and we made a test of the basic academic skills(Korean language, mathematic, foreign language) to the students of engineering department in I college in Seoul and analyzed the correlation between the basic academic skills and the scholastic achievement grades. Results show that the scholastic achievement grades has a correlation(r=.456, p<0.01) to the average grade of the basic academic skill test. High level students of the scholastic achievement grades have a correlation(r=.292, p<0.01) to the mathematical department and the others have a correlation(r=.232, p<0.05 and r=.279, p<0.01) to the Korean linguistic department. The results of this study through multiple regression analysis indicate that the scholastic achievement has a relation on Korean language skill. As a result, It is recommendable that the mathematical basic academic skill programs are suggested to the high-level students of the scholastic achievement grades and the linguistic basic academic skill programs to the others. Also, the required basic linguistic subject is needed to the low-level students of the basic academic skills and in this paper, we propose the test and management system for the basic campus-life skills including the basic academic skills and the basic major skills.

방송용 Multi format HD LCD Monitor의 설계

본 논문에서는 비교적 간단한 설계기법과 효율적인 디자인 기술을 사용하여 방송용 8.4" LCD 모니터를 개발하였다. 소형화 기술, 혼성 비디오신호 처리기술, 하나의 포트에 다종의 HD 시그널을 구현하는 기술, 기판제작에 있어서의 디지털 신호와 아날로그 신호의 분리기법과 타겟 보드에 맞는 오디오 신호 처리기술 등이 본연구의 주 연구 대상이다. 제안된 다용도의 8.4" LCD 모니터는 방송용으로 고안하여 제작하였으므로 해당 분야에서의 활용에 있어서의 효율이 기대된다. In this study, the multi format 8.4" LCD monitor for broadcasting has been proposed by the simple circuit design and the efficient processing technique. The small sizing technique, the mixed-type video signal processing technique, the emerging skill of multi-format HD signal to one port, the dividing technique between the analog and digital signal, the embedded audio signal developing technique are the key researches of this study. The proposed multi format 8.4" LCD monitor has been focused on the broadcasting field and has been supposed to have the efficiency at that field.

대중가요에 쓰인 영어 가사의 기능 연구

This study purposed to demonstrate that English words used in popular songs perform various functions through linguistic performance called code-switching. The excessive use of English words should be avoided because it may foster the tendency to disregard the Korean language among adolescents. On the other hand, however, we need to examine the background of the rapid increase in the use of English words. Without knowing the background encouraging the use of English words and in the current situation that adolescents are crazy about popular songs using English words, we cannot view the use of English words negatively altogether. For this study, we selected songs included in the top ten in the Internet Melon Monthly Chart (http://www.melon.com) for one year from August 2008 to July 2009. As redundant songs were removed from the 120 songs included in the top ten during the 12 months, 69 songs were left, and among them 49 songs that use English words were sampled for this study. The functions of English words used in popular songs are summarized as follows. First, English exclamatory words play the function of interjection that cheers up and changes the mood. Second, English address terms play the function of expressing intimacy among characters in the songs. Third, rhyme and the repetition of the same phrase play the function of meter. Fourth, the repetition of the same phrase plays the role of emphasizing meanings. Fifth, the repetition of synonyms plays the function of harmonizing text structure. Lastly, English words containing suggestive expressions play the function of expressing free sexual desire with passing censorship. Through these uses of English words, the new generation tries to expose their identity distinguished from the old generations and to feel the freedom of deviation as a reaction to daily things. Furthermore, they may satisfy their desire for newness through unfamiliar English words, and enjoy the freedom of expression by expressing suggestive contents in English.
