The Ti-Ni alloy nanopowders were synthesized by a levitational gas condensation (LGC) by using a micron powder feeding system and their particulate properties were investigated by x-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) method. The starting Ti and Ni micron powders $150{\mu}m$ were incorporated into the micron powder feeding system. An ingot type of the Ti-Ni ahoy was used as a seed material for the levitation and evaporation reactions. The collected powders were finally passivated by oxidation. The x-ray diffraction experiments have shown that the synthesized powders were completely alloyed with Ti and Ni and comprised of two different cubic and monoclinic crystalline phases. The TEM results showed that the produced powders were very fine and uniform with a spherical particle size of 18 to 32nm. The typical thickness of a passivated oxide layer on the particle surface was about 2 to 3 nm. The specific surface area of the Ti-Ni alloy nanopowders was $60m^2/g$ based on BET method.

Thirty-two cases of tetralogy of Fallot corrected totally using extracorporeal circulation in this department are presented during the period from April 1983 to Feb. 1986. Types of right ventricular outflow tract obstruction were a case of pulmonic valvular stenosis, 3 cases of infundibular stenosis, and 28 cases of combined type. There were associated anomaly such as 3 cases of pulmonary arterial hypoplasia, 7 cases of atrial septal defect, a case of left superior vena cava, and 2 cases of right side aortic arch. Transannular patch for right ventricular outflow tract reconstruction was necessary in 12 cases. Operative death was 6 cases and late death was a case, but other remaining cases followed up over 2 months carried out normal life.

The results of the clinical observations on the bronchogenic carcinoma of forty-five cases treated in the Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, Chungnam National University Hospital, during the period of 6 years from June.1978 to Aug. 1984, are as follows: 1. Of 45 cases, 44 cases were over 40 years of age and the sex ratio was 4.6:1 in male`s favor. 3. Among 50 cases, 45 cases were confirmed histopathologically. Of these, 30 cases [66.7%] were squamous cell carcinoma, 8 cases [17.8%] adenocarcinoma, and 7 cases [15.6%] undifferentiated cell carcinoma. 4. The thoracotomy was performed in 31 cases [68.9%] of 45 cases and the resection of the lesion in 16 cases [51.6%]. The empyema and bronchopleural fistula developed in 2 cases.

The purpose of this study is to examine the application of the 7th curriculum in geographic education. There are two major goals of the 7th curriculum. One is curriculum by student's level and the other is student-centered learning. In this context, the geography teacher is a facilitator or conductor. Also, the teacher guides the students, stimulating and provoking the student's critical thinking, analysis and synthesis throughout the learning process. In conclusion, new idea for application of 7th curriculum in geographic education is "to pour new wine into new wine skin."

Pick-up truck has the advantage that can transport more baggage by the deck. However, it is inconvenient to put loads by a high ground clearance values. In this paper, we proposed a corresponding method to the high ground clearance using 4-bar linkage lift mechanism of tailgate. In addition, the validity of the lift mechanism through the prototype test is verified.
