        축분 퇴비의 이화학적 특성과 발아지수를 이용한 부숙도 평가

        This study was conducted to evaluate the humification grade of compost, based on physico-chemical property and phyto-toxicity during the composting with three kinds of livestock manures and saw dust. The ratios of the compost, which was mixed with pig manure(P) and sawdust(S) were 4 : 6(PS-1), 5 : 5(PS- 2) and 6 : 4(PS-3); poultry manure(PO) and sawdust(S) were 4 : 6(POS-1), 5 : 5(POS-2) and 6 : 4(POS-3); cow manure(C) and sawdust(S) were 4 : 6(CS-1), 5 : 5(CS-2) and 6 : 4(CS-3) by volume to volume, and they were decomposed for 60 days. In the result, the temperature in all treatments during composting rapidly increased above 65.4℃, and then gradually decreased to around 40℃. At 60 day, after the treatment, pH 5.9~8.0 at the incipient stage increased to 7.6 ~ 8.5, and the C/N ratio was 13.8~21.1 at the final composting stage. Germination Index(G.I.) showed in the range of 75.1~94.6 in all treatments at day 60. Therefore, it is likely recommended to take the best humification grade when the temperature maintains above 65℃ longer than a day at minimum, in the range of pH 6.5~8.5 for the final compost, under 20 of C/N ratio, and G.I. above 80. The level of G.I. above 80 should be the mature compost which could be used in the field without gas demage to crops.

        수분조절제로서 피트모스 및 코코피트를 이용한 계분 발효 특성 및 시비효과

        본 연구는 계분 발효에서 수분조절제로 톱밥을 대신하여 피트모스와 코코피트를 사용하였을 때, 계분발효에 미치는 영향과 이들의 시비효과를 조사하였다. 처리구는 계분 단독처리구(OP), 톱밥+계분처리구(SP), 피트모스+계분처리구(PP) 및 코코피트+계분처리구(CP)로 설정하였다. OP나 SP 처리구와 비교할 때, 계분 발효시 50℃이상을 나타내는 기간이 PP와 CP 처리구에서 35일로 약 10일 정도 길었고, 퇴비화 후 45일 경 PP와 CP 처리구의 수분 함량은 약 50% 정도로 10% 정도 높은 경향을 보였다. 계분 발효과정에서 PP와 CP 처리구의 EC는 SP 처리구보다 증가하였고, pH와 유기물대 질소비는 처리구별 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 발효 종료 후 가공계분의 질소, 인산 및 칼리함량은 가공계분의 공정규격에 적합하였다. 상추, 케일 및 갓에 대한 재배시험 결과, PP와 CP 처리구는 OP나 SP 처리구보다 생육이 우수하였고 수량이 증가하였다. This study was conducted to evaluate plant growth responses and characteristics of composting poultry manure with peatmoss and cocopeat as bulking agent. Treatments were designed as follows; only poultry manure (OP), sawdust+poultry manure (SP), peatmoss+poultry manure (PP), and cocopeat+poultry manure (CP). Period maintained 50℃ over in compost pile of PP and CP was 35 days that longer about 10 days than that of OP or SP, and water content of PP and CP after composting 45 days 50% that was higher about 10%. While poultry manure composted, EC values of PP and CP were higher than that of SP, and pH and OM/N ratio not significant. After finished composting poultry, physicochemical properties of dried all composts were matched on Korean fertilizer guideline. As compared with OP or SP, applications of PP and CP were improved growth and productivity of lettuce, kale and mustard leaf.

        부식산분말 처리에 따른 가축분의 퇴비화 특성 및 시비효과

        Humic acid was used soil amendment or functional fertilizer in Korean agriculture, and its cation exchangeable capacity was high enough to increase soil buffering from plant toxicant. This study was conducted to evaluate effects of humic acid powder (HA) on composting of livestock manure (LM) and of its application on growth of lettuce. Treatments were designed as follows; livestock manure compost (LM+sawdust+bark+castor meal; Control), control+0.1% HA (0.1% HA), control+0.5% HA (0.5% HA), control+1.0% HA (1.0% HA), control+3.0% HA (3.0% HA), and control+5.0% HA (5.0% HA). The changes of temperature, water content, organic matter content, total nitrogen and ratio of organic matter and nitrogen in HA treatments were similar to those of control. Although pH of 3.0% HA and 5.0% HA blending with HA and LM was lower than those of others, it unaffected by HA blending during composting. Humic acid content of HA treatments was increased by 1.7~4.4 folds than that of control. As compared with odor index, 3.0% HA and 5% HA were decreased than control for composting time. Application of 3.0% HA increased the dry weight of lettuce by about 7% than that of control. 농업에서 부식산은 양이온치환능력이 높아 토양의 완충능력이나 보비력을 개선하는 토양개량제나 기능성비료로 이용되어 왔다. 본 연구는 퇴비화에서 부식산의 이용가능성을 평가하기 위하여, 가축분퇴비 원료에 부식산분말을 처리 후 퇴비화 특성변화와 퇴비의 시비에 따른 상추의 생육효과를 조사하였다. 처리구는 대조구, 부식산분말 0.1% 처리구(0.1% HA), 부식산분말 0.5% 처리구(0.5% HA), 부식산분말 1.0% 처리구(1.0% HA), 부식산분말 3.0% 처리구(3.0% HA),부식산분말 5.0% 처리구(5.0% HA)로 설정하였다. 부식산분말 처리 후 온도, 수분 함량, 유기물 함량, 질소 함량 및 유기물대 질소비는 처리구별 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 퇴비원료 배합 후 3% HA 처리구와 5.0% HA 처리구의 pH는 다른 처리구보다 낮았으나 퇴비화동안에는 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 부식산분말 처리 퇴비의 부식산 함량은 대조구보다 1.7~4.4배 더 높았고, 악취지수는 3.0% HA 처리구와 5.0% HA 처리구에서 감소하였다. 부식산분말 처리 퇴비 처리구 중 3.0% HA 처리구에서 상추의 건물중은 대조구보다 약 7% 증가하였다.

        가공계분 함유 혼합유기질비료의 시비효과

        유기질비료 원료로서 가공계분은 질소, 인산, 칼리함량이 높고 본 연구는 수분조절제의 종류에 따라 다른 특성을 나타낸다. 본 연구는 수분조절제로서 톱밥과 피트모스를 혼합하여 발효한 두 종류의 가공계분을 혼합유기질비료의 원료로 이용하였을 때, 배합비율별 유기질비료의 이화학적 특성 및 작물생육 특성을 조사하였다. 톱밥이나 피트모스를 수분조절제로 첨가하여 발효시킨 가공계분이 함유된 혼합유기질비료는 가공계분이 10∼30 % 함유된 혼합유기질비료에서 비료공정규격에 적합하였다. 톱밥 가공계분(PMCS)이나 피트모스 가공계분(PMCP)을 10∼30 %정도 함유한 혼합유기질비료 처리구는 작물의 생육(건물중)이 증가하였다. 가공계분별배합비율과 작물생육지수와 상관관계를 조사한 결과, PMCS 함유 혼합유기질비료와 작물의 생육 지수에서 영향을 미치지 않았고, PMCP 함유 혼합유기질비료의 시비는 작물의 생육 및 생산량이 증가하였다(P<0.05). 이들 결과를 종합할 때, 가공계분은 혼합유기질비료의 원료로 사용이 가능하였고, 혼합유기질비료 중 가공계분의 적정함유량은 10∼30 %였으며, 시비에 의해 작물 생육이 증가하였다. Poultry manure compost (PMC) as the organic fertilizer sources has a high nutrient content such as nitrogen, phosphate and potassium, and its properties been affected by bulking agent. This study was conducted to evaluate properties of mixed organic fertilizer (MOF) containing PMC composting with sawdust and peat moss as bulking agent, and to measure a characteristics of plant growth by their application. The MOF containing 10∼30 % PMC had a coincidency with its guideline in Korea. As applied with MOF containing PMC composting with sawdust (PMCS) or MOF containing PMC composting with peat moss (PMCP), dry weight of plant was increased in MOF treatments blending with 10∼30 % PMCS or 10∼30 % PMCP. In correlation coefficient between blending ratio of PMC in MOFs and plant growth indexes, PMCS was not significantly different, but its PMCP a positive effect (P<0.05). These results indicated that PMC was able to blend about 10∼30 % as mixed organic fertilizer source, and its application increased in plant growth.

      • 우분과 피마자박을 이용한 퇴비화 과정 중 부숙도 평가

        This study was conducted to find an optimal combination rate of castor meal for the good qualitative compost and to estimate the humification grade by physico-chemical characterization and phyto-toxicity test during composting of the mixture with cow manure and castor meal. The material ratios of the compost which was mixed with cow manure(C), castor meal(C), and saw dust(S) were 5 : 1 : 4(CCS-1), 5 : 2.5 : 2.5(CCS-2) and 5 : 4 : 1(CCS-3) by volume to volume, and they were decomposed for 60 days. In the result, the changes of temperature in all treatments during composting radically increased more than 63.6℃ at the incipient stage, and gradually decreased around 42℃. At the 60 days after the treatment, pH was slowly increased from 7.0 to 8.0, and the C/N ratio was 12.3∼13.8 at the final composting stage. The low C/N ratio value was caused by the castor meal with high nitrogen level(T-N 5.7%). G.I.(germination index) showed in the range of 77.5 to 82.6 in all treatments. Among all treatments CCS-1 was appeared to be the best condition for composting. Therefore, the combination rate of castor meal which was used for compost humification improvement could be recommended 10% to manufacture the good qualitative cow manure compost.
