Objectives: Korean Medicine Doctors (KMDs) have treated patients with obesity using a holistic approach with a multicomponent approach on counseling. However, there is currently no data regarding KMDs' counseling practices for weight loss. We conducted a retrospective chart review to better understand the Korean medicine counseling practice for weight loss. Methods: Twenty-one KMDs were involved in this project as practitioners. The contents of counseling were categorized based on patterns according to the counseling manual for the standardized management of obesity in Korean Medicine. Results: The counseling was conducted based on the theory of Korean medicine and the contents of counseling were different from patterns. However, the quality of the counseling were different from each KMD, and the counseling were focused on evaluating patient conditions and not on providing specific recommendations for lifestyle changes. Conclusions: Therefore, specific guidance of counseling for healthier lifestyle and dietary habits, and the training of the standardized manual training are needed.

In traditional medicine, Cannabis sativa L. has been used for variety of reasons. Old literatures delineate that Cannabis had been used as anesthetic and analgesic, or to reduce symptoms such as cough, paralysis and so on. Although Cannabis has a long history of medical use, it is illegal in many countries including South Korea. Controversy over decriminalization of Cannabis to allow cannabis for therapeutic use has been around for many years. In order to understand current knowledge on the therapeutic use of medical Cannabis, comprehension of cannabinoids and other constituents of Cannabis is important. Here we reviewed the pharmacological effect of Cannabis and current mandatory regulation over Cannabis in many countries to suggest necessity of research on medical Cannabis.
경단 조리법의 표준화를 위한 조리과학적 연구 (IV) -첨가하는 물의 양과 소금의 양을 중심으로-

경단의 기준 조리법 설정을 위해 조리과정에서 품질특성에 영향을 미친다고 생각되는 주요 요인간의 상호작용으로 침수시간과 물의 온도, 침수시간과 물의양, 첨가하는 물의 앙과 물의 온도, 첨가하는 물의 앙과 소금의 양으로 나타났다. 그 중 침수시간과 첨가하는 물의 온도 및 물의 양과의 상호작용은 제 I보10)에서 검토하였고, 첨가하는 물의 양과 반죽횟수와의 상호작용은 제 II보11)에 첨가하는 물의 양과 물의 온도와의 상호작용은 제 III보12)에서 검토하였다. 다음은 첨가하는 물의 양과 첨가하는 소금의 양과의 상호작용이 경단의 기호성과 Texture에 어떤 영향을 미치는가를 관능검사와 기계적 측정에 의하여 검토하였는데 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 경단 반죽시 첨가하는 물의 양과 소금의 양과의 상호작용에 대한 관능검사 결과에서는 첨가하는 물의 양이 25%이면 소금의 양이 1%, 1.5%에 관계없이 모든 항목에서 좋게 평가되었다. 2. 경단을 반죽할 때 첨가하는 물의 양과 소금의 양을 달리한 시료들의 기계적인 측정치를 분산 분석한 결과 물의 양에서는 Springiness, 소금의 양은 Cohesiveness Springiness를 제외한 모든 항목에서 유의차를 나타내었고 물의 양과 소금의 양과의 상호작용에서는 모든 항목에서 유의차를 나타내었다. 3. 관능검사결과 좋게 평가된 시료들은 대체로 Hard-ness, Adhesiveness, Gumminess, Chewiness가 작고 Springiness가 큰 치를 나타냈다. 본 결과와 제 I10), 제 II11), 제 III보12)에서의 결과를 요약하여 보면 12시간 침수한 찹쌀에 25%의 온수(8$0^{\circ}C$), 1~1.5%의 소금을 첨가시켜 50회 이상 반죽한 경단을 만드는 것이 가장 바람직한 것을 알 수 있다. 본 연구에서 보면 모든 조건에서 가장 중요한 조건은 첨가하는 물의 양이 25%라는 것이었다. 이 조건은 기계측정결과 대체로 Hardness, Adhesive-ness, Gumminess, Chewiness가 작고 Springiness와 Cohesiveness가 큰 수치를 나타냈다. This study attempted to examine the effect on sensory characteristics and texture of Kyongdan in various volume of adding water and volume of adding salt the most favorite tendency on the guality was at the 25% adding water and 1∼1.5% adding salt. Evaluation was conducted through sensory evaluation and objective evaluation The results were summarized as follows. 1. In sensory evaluation on various volume of water and volume adding salt the most favorite tendency on the gualtity was at the 25vo adding water and 1∼1.5% adding salt. 2. This condition corresponded to the low level of hardness, adhesiveness, gumminess, chewiness and high level of springiness in compa-rison with Instron measurement. In summary the most favorite factor is 12 hours soaking time, 25% adding water (hot water), 1∼1.5% adding salt, over 50 times kneading.

Even though companies have pervasively implemented CRM(Customer Relationship Management) systems, it is reported that the implementation results have not been satisfactory. The primary cause of the poor results is that the evaluation metrics for CRM projects have not been applied while the projects are being implemented. This research is conducted to identify the risk factors of CRM projects and examines the relative importance of these factors. In this research, two management techniques, Delphi Method and AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process), were applied for the experts who had involved in CRM projects. The following are two of the meaningful results identified through this research. First, two important things for the CRM project success are to identify the customer needs and manage risk factors related to customer data. Second, both of analytic CRM and operational CRM are important and mutually supplementary. Therefore, both of them should be implemented concurrently in the grand viewpoint, rather than sequentially in the partial one. The results will provide the guideline for the risk management on the implementation of CRM projects to both academic researchers and industry practioners.
