Torsional Fatigue Life (TFL) tests were performed for five kinds of Overdrive Clutch Shafts. Four kinds of shaft samples were manufactured using different materials and heat treatments to evaluate cost and fatigue life. Commercial product was also studied for comparison. TFL tests were then conducted under the torque values 70, 55, 45, 40 ㎏.m and the cycle 10Hz for T-N curves. The results of TFL test indicated long fatigue life achievable in the specimen that has high surface hardness and small grain microstructure. Newly improved shaft showed 100-250% improvement in fatigue life compared to commercial shaft and its predicted durability exceeded cumulative damage from the transmission endurance test
상가임대료 인하 세제지원의 경제적 효과: 소상공인 상가임차료에 미친 영향을 중심으로

지난 2020년 3월 코로나19 확산으로 어려움을 겪고 있는 소상공인의 임차료 부담 완화를 위하여 「상가임대료를 인하한 임대사업자에 대한 세액공제」가 신설되어 운영되고 있다. 본 연구는 「상가임대료를 인하한 임대사업자에 대한 세액공제」의 운영 현황을 검토하는 한편, 해당 세액공제 제도가 소상공인 상가임차료에 미친 영향에 대한 실증분석을 수행하였다. 「소상공인실태조사」와 「중소기업실태조사」 자료를 이용하여 이중차분(difference-in-differences)과 1차차분(first-difference) 분석을 수행한 결과 통계적으로 유의한 소상공인 상가임차료 감소 효과는 발견되지 않았다. 이는 10% 미만 수준으로 낮은 제도의 활용도에 기인하는 것으로 짐작되는바, 2020년 소상공인 임차료 감소는 상가임대차 시장의 수요 감소에 의해 설명될 여지가 더 높은 것으로 판단된다. 이러한 분석 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구는 향후 국내외 경제적 여건 개선 시 해당 제도를 점진적으로 폐지하거나, 또는 「상가건물 임대차보호법」 제11조(차임 등의 증감청구권)와의 보완성을 강화하는 방향으로 제도를 재설계할 것을 정책당국에 제안하고 있다. In March 2020, the tax credits for commercial property owners reducing rent (hereafter, “rent reduction credit”) were introduced to alleviate the rent burden of small business owners who were struggling due to the spread of COVID-19. This paper studies the current status of the rent reduction credit, and analyzes its impact on the rent burden of small business owners. Using data from the Surveys on Actual State of Small Businesses and SMEs, we perform difference-in-differences and first-difference analysis, and find no statistically significant rent reduction effects for small business owners. This is attributable to the fact that less than 10% of commercial property owners claimed the rent reduction credit. In fact, the rent of small business owners in 2020 decreased compared with that in 2019, which is mainly due to the drop in the demand of commercial property rent market. Based on these findings, this study proposes the gradual abolition of the rent reduction credit. At the same time, the need to improve the effectiveness of Article 11 (Right of Claim for Increase or Decrease of Rent) of the Commercial Building Lease Protection Act is emphasized.
IEEE 1500 표준 기반의 효율적인 프로그램 가능한 메모리 BIST

Systems-On-Chips(SoC)에서 내장 메모리가 차지하는 비중은 비약적으로 증가하여 전체 트랜지스터 수의 80%~90%를 차지하고 있어, SoC에서 내장된 메모리에 대한 테스트 중요성이 증가하고 있다. 본 논문은 다양한 테스트 알고리즘을 지원하는 IEEE 1500 래퍼 기반의 프로그램 가능한 메모리 내장 자체 테스트(PMBIST) 구조를 제안한다. 제안하는 PMBIST는 March 알고리즘 및 Walking, Galloping과 같은 non-March 알고리즘을 지원하여 높은 flexibility, programmability 및 고장 검출률을 보장한다. PMBIST는 최적화된 프로그램 명령어와 작은 프로그램 메모리에 의해 최적의 하드웨어 오버헤드를 가진다. 또한 제안된 고장 정보 처리 기술은 수리와 고장 진단을 위해 2개의 진단 방법을 효과적으로 지원하여 메모리의 수율 향상을 보장한다. As the weight of embedded memory within Systems-On-Chips(SoC) rapidly increases to 80-90% of the number of total transistors, the importance of testing embedded memory in SoC increases. This paper proposes IEEE std. 1500 wrapper based Programmable Memory Built-In Self-Test(PMBIST) architecture which can support various kinds of test algorithm. The proposed PMBIST guarantees high flexibility, programmability and fault coverage using not only March algorithms but also non-March algorithms such as Walking and Galloping. The PMBIST has an optimal hardware overhead by an optimum program instruction set and a smaller program memory. Furthermore, the proposed fault information processing scheme guarantees improvement of the memory yield by effectively supporting three types of the diagnostic methods for repair and diagnosis.

The characteristics and durability of annulus Gears for Planetary Gear in Automatic Transmission are compared by nitride compound layer thickness and pore rate. Samples are made with SCr420H steel which is widely used as Gear for Automobile and treated Phase-Control-Nitriding method which is known for little distortion and better durability. We made three different compound layers of heat-treated samples (about 2, 10, 17㎛), by differing nitriding-potential and diffusion time. All three samples are tested under dynamometer and compared their durability. From Microstructure analysis, it shows that porous layer increases as compound layer increases. X-ray diffraction analysis, the amount of ε-nitride was gradually increased from single phase of γ"-nitride at the initial stage as thickness of compound layer. The result of durability tests indicated that 10 ㎛ compound layer specimen has better durability.

The conventional carburizing heat treatment gives annulus gears of auto transmission high surface hardness and stiffness. But, it gives also undesirable distortion by the heat treatment that causes planetary gear noise. To reduce distortion by heat treatment of annulus gear, we apply nitriding heat treatment for annulus gear. The heat treatment deformation of nitriding is smaller than that of carburizing. Also considering the difference of the gear flank deformation caused by each heat treatment methods, we modified the tooth form of pinion to suit the changed shape of annulus. The results of bench noise tests shows that gear noise of auto transmission is reduced with dispersion improvement.

Steam treatment is applied to powder metallurgy gear in Automatic Transmission have benefit corrosion resistances and sealing capacity of gear surface. In case of steam treatment process is not stable condition, it makes spalling or flaking from the surface of sintered products. In this paper, we have analyzed the process factors for oil pump gear by continuous furnace that made oxide layer. As a result, we suggested the important factors that steam treatment time, temperature, and thickness of the surface oxide layer.
