Car accident by driver`s distraction is increasing because of many electric functions and devices. Driver`s head movement is a good clue for detecting distraction. A Seat headrest is nearest car part to driver`s head. In this paper, a capacitive sensor will be mounted on headrest. When a driver moves own head, we will chech how signal of sensor change in every case. A distraction detecting logic by head movement will be suggested. And then a warning system in distracted state will be recommended.

The objective of this study is enhanced thermal performance of the high voltage PTC heater for using a heat source of the electric vehicle or fuel-cell electric vehicle. To optimize performance, design for six sigma(DFSS) Technique was used in this paper. Optimization is made by changing the shape and size of the heater fin. In conclusion, the new high voltage PTC heater is technically superior to its previous PTC heater. Thermal performance and pressure drop is approximately 17% improved.

"Gradient Hidden Light" applied to the new Sonata DN8, which was reborn as the 8th generation in 2019, surprised the market with a new concept lamp that was not tried in the existing automobile lamp. This paper describes the process of developing a gradient hidden light that combines the world"s first half mirror and gradient lighting. The development of the world"s first ‘gradient hidden light’ gave Hyundai the opportunity to secure our unique lamp identity and prove our advanced R & D capabilities.
