        상백피 추출물의 항산화 활성 및 미백효과

        This study was performed to investigate the antioxidant activities and the whitening effect of mulberry (Morus alba L.) root bark extracts. The antioxidant activities of water and 70% ethanol extracts of mulberry root bark were 65.8% and 87.0% in the DPPH assay at 1,000 ㎍/ml ; 89.3% and 77.1% in the ABTS assay at 1,000 ㎍/ml. Xanthine oxidase inhibition of water and 70% ethanol extracts were 100% and 96.2% at 1,000 ㎍/ml. Nitric oxide radical inhibition of water and 70% ethanol extracts showed 43.5% and 53.0% at 500 ㎍/ml, and it was similar to the BHA effect(43.8%). Tyrosinase inhibitory activities of water and 70% ethanol extracts were 79.6% and 93.5% at 1,000 ㎍/ml. These results confirm that mulberry root bark has the great potential to be a cosmeceutical ingredient with a natural antioxidant and a skin-whitening effect. Key words : Morus alba L. These results confirm that mulberry root bark has the great potential to be a cosmeceutical ingredient with a natural antioxidant and a skin-whitening effect. 본 연구는 상백피 추출물의 화장품 약리활성인 항산화 활성과 미백 효과를 탐색하기 위해 열수추출물과 에탄올추 출물을 사용하여 전자공여능, ABTS, xanthine oxidase 저해활성, nitric oxide radical 소거능 및 tyrosinase 저 해 활성을 측정하였다. 상백피 추출물의 전자공여능 측정결과 1,000 μg/ml에서 열수추출물은 65.8%, 에탄올추출물은 87%의 DPPH radical 소거능을 보였다. ABTS 라디칼 소거능은 1,000 μg/ml에서 열 수추출물은 89.3%, 에탄올추출물은 77.1%로 높은 소거능 을 보였다. Xanthine oxide 저해활성은 1,000 μg/ml에서 열수추출물은 100%, 에탄올추출물은 96.2%를 보여 높은 항산화 효과를 나타내었다. NO 소거능은 500 μg/ml에서 열수추출물은 43.5%, 에탄올추출물은 53%를 나타내었는 데 이는 같은 농도에서 대조구인 BHA의 43.8%와 유사하 였다. Tyrosinase 저해활성은 1,000 μg/ml에서 열수추출 물은 79.6%, 에탄올추출물은 93.5%로 나타나 대조구인 비 타민 C와 유사한 활성을 보여 미백효과가 우수하였다. 모 든 실험에서 활성정도가 시료 농도가 증가함에 따라 유의 적으로 증가하는 경향이었으며, ABTS 저해활성을 제외하 고 대부분의 실험에서 에탄올추출물이 열수추출물에 비해 다소 높은 활성을 보였다.

        목초액 및 코코넛액이 석곡(Dendrobium moniliforme)의 유묘 증식과 기내 개화에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 배지에 첨가된 목초액 및 코코넛액이 석곡 유묘의 증식 및 기내 개화에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위하여 실시되었다. 목초액이 석곡 유묘의 증식에 미치는 영향은 NAA 0.1 mg/L와 kinetin 1.0 mg/L 가 첨가된 $H_{3} P_{4}$ 배지에 목초액 1.0 ml/L를 처리했을 때 유묘의 증식 및 생장이 양호 하였다. 코코넛액은 30 ml/L가 첨가되었을 때 유묘의 증식 및 생장이 가장 양호하였다. 기내 개화 역시 NAA 0.1 mg/L 와 kinetin 1.0 mg/L 가 첨가된 $H_{3} P_{4}$ 배지에 목초액 1.0 ml/L 또는 코코넛액 30 ml/L가 첨가되었을 때 전체 개체의 $ 20\% $에서 기내개화가 일어났다 This experiment was carried out to clarify the effect of pyroligneous liquor and coconut water on plantlet multiplication and in vitro flowering of Dendrobium moniliforme. Plantlet growth and multiplication was good in 1.0 ml/L pyroligneous liquor treatment which was added to the basal media of 3 g/L hyponex and 4 g/L peptone ($H_{3} P_{4}$) containing 0.1 mg/L NAA and 1.0 mg/L kinetin. In the treatment of 30 ml/L coconut water showed good results on plantlet growth and multiplication. In vitro flowering showed highest rate in the treatment of 1.0 ml/L pyroligneous liquor and 30 ml/L coconut water which were added to the basal media of $H_{3} P_{4}$ containing 0.1 mg/L NAA and 1.0 mg/L kinetin.

        목초액이 기내 배양한 풍란(Neofinetia faicata)의 내생물질 함량 및 활성에 미치는 영향

        This experiment was conducted to clarify the effect of pyroligneous liquor on endogenous substances that were GA (gibberelic acid)-like substances, starch, and protein of Neofinetia falcata cultured in vitro. When seedlings of Neofinetia falcata were treated with several concentrations (0, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 ml/L) of pyroligneous liquor, the growth of seedlings was enhanced in 1.0ml/L pyroligneous liquor added media. The activity of GA-like substances was lower in the leaf, but higher in the and root than that of the control. The content of starch in 1.0ml/L pyroligneous liquor was lower in the leaf, but higher in the root than that of the control. And the content of protein in 1.0ml/L pyroligneous liquor was also lower in the leaf, but higher in the root than that of the control.

      • Petunia hybrida 와 Nicotiana sanderae간의 원형질체융합산물 배양으로부터 식물체 재분화에 미치는 생장조절물질의 영향

        Petunia hybrida와 Nicotiana sanderae의 원형질체 융합에 의한 융합산물의 초기 배양과 callus로부터 식물체 재분화에 미치는 생장조절물질의 영향에 대해 실험한 결과는 다음과 같다. 융합산물의 초기 배양은 8p-KM배지에 NAA 1.5 ㎎/l, BA 0.5㎎/l 및 2,4-D 0.2 ㎎/l가 함유된 배지에서 배양했을때 세포분열이 가장 양호하였다. 배양 4주 후 직경 2~3㎜되는 callus를 Murashige-Skoog배지에 2ip또는 zeatin 2.0㎎/l, sucrose 30g/l, gelite 2g/l가 함유된 배지의 pH를 5.8로 조정한 배지에서 배양했을 때 분화율을 높일 수 있었다. This study was carried out to obtain a optimal concentration of phytohormones for plant regeneration from the fusion product cultures between Petunia hybrida 'Titan red' and Nicotiana sanderae. Cell division from the fusion product cultures between P.hybrida and N.sanderae occured well in 8p-KM medium containing 1.5 ㎎/l NAA, 0.5 ㎎/l BA 0.2 ㎎/l 2,4-D. When the 4 weeks old calli in 2-3㎜ diameter were transplanted to MS medium containing 2.0 ㎎/l 2ip or zeatin, 30 g/l sucrose and 2 g/l gelrite for regeneration, more plantlets were produced from the calli.

        생장억제제 처리가 나도풍란(Sedirea japonica) 유묘의 생장과 invertase 활성에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 몇 가지 생장억제제를 배지에 처리하였을 때 기내 배양한 나도풍란 유묘의 생장과 그들의 invertase활성 검정을 위하여 실시하였다. 나도풍란에 식물생장억제제 인 ancymidol과 paclobutrazol을 각각 배양용 배지에 첨가했을 때, 농도가 높을수록 엽장이 감소한 반면, 엽폭은 상대적으로 증가하였고, 근장은 짧았으나 근수 및 근직경은 증가하였다 Uniconazole 0.05 mg/L에서는 잎과 뿌리생장이 대조구보다 오히려 촉진되었다. 처리한 모든 종류에 있어서 그 농도가 높아짐에 따라 잎 모양은 원형으로 변하면서 작아졌다. Invertase 활성을 알아보기 위 한 soluble acid invertase 활성과 soluble alkaline invertase활성은 잎에서는 생장억제제 농도가 낮은 처리에서 높았고, 뿌리에서는 정반대의 경향이었다. 지상부 및 지하부의 전분함량은 잎에서는 invertase 활성이 높았던 저농도에서 높았으며, 뿌리에서는 invertase 활성이 높았던 고농도에서 높았다. This experiment was conducted to identify the effect of several plant growth retardants on growth of Sedirea japonica seedlings cultured in vitro and their changes of invertase activities. When seedlings of Sedirea japonica were treated with ancymidol and paclobutrazol, as the concentrations were increased, leaf length was gradually shortened and leaf width became wider than that of control. On the other hand, root length was shorter, but the number of root and the root's diameters were greatly increased, compared with control. In 0.05mg/L uniconazole, growth of leaf and root were enhanced, compared with the control and higher concentrations of uniconazole. As concentration of each growth retardants was increased, leaf shape became round and smaller. Both soluble acid invertase activity and soluble alkaline invertase activity in leaf were decreased in higher concentrations of each growth retardant, but those of the root were contrary to those of the leaf. To confirm the estimated invertase activities, starch content of leaf was higher in low concentration treatments in each growth retardant, but in the root was contrary to content that of the leaf.

        직물 전극의 형상 특성이 자계 유도성 전도율 기반의 비접촉식 심장활동 센싱에 미치는 효과의 분석

        The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of shape of the inductive textile electrode on the non-contact heart activity sensing, based on the magnetic-induced conductivity principle. Four types of the inductive textile electrodes were determined according to the combinations of the two shape features. A fiber-metal hybrid-typed conductive thread was developed and applied to materialization of the textile electrodes by embroidery method. The heart activity was extracted through the textile electrode sewn on a T-shirt. The experiments were implemented to constantly measure the heart activity for 20 seconds, in each case of 5 healthy male subjects. The heart activity signals acquired in each type of the inductive textile electrode were analyzed, 1)by drawing a comparison of morphology with those of ECG signal (LeadⅡ), and 2)by calculation of the normalized mean and standard deviation of magnitude of the heart activity signals. The analysis resulted that the relatively better quality of signals were acquired in the ‘square’ types in the matter of whole shape, while the better results were obtained in ‘donut’ types in the matter of center hole. Accordingly, the relatively best quality of signals was obtained in the case of ‘Square-Donut’ type of the inductive textile electrode.
