Objectives The purpose of this study is to perform a review on recent researches of Hataedock, a traditional method of removing fetal toxin by dropping herbal extracts in the mouth, to appraise its preventive and therapeutic effects of diseases. Methods Studies of Hataedock were extracted from both Chinese and Korean medical journals published within 10 years, from January 2010 to January 2020. Clinical studies and experimental researches were analyzed and categorized to skin disease, allergic rhinitis, intestinal mucosa inflammation and anal fistula for further evaluation. Results Among 194 studies were searched and screened, 22 met designated criteria. Hataedock showed the effectiveness in treating skin disease, allergic rhinitis, intestinal mucosa inflammation and anal fistula by maintaining skin barrier and regulating immune system. Coptis japonica, Glycyrrhiza uralensis, and Fermented Glycine max were mainly used as herbal extracts in Hataedock. Conclusion This study shows the recent research trends of Hataedock and suggests that Hataedock can be considered as a method of treatment or prevention to some of the incurable chronic diseases.
Flux가 첨가된 고용융 석탄슬래그에서의 결정체 형성 예측

석탄슬래그는 회분의 조성에 따라 고온에서 매우 상이한 슬래그 거동을 보여준다. 국내 가스화 대상탄으로 검토된 탄 중, 산성 산화물의 함량이 높아 고용융점을 갖는 7종의 석탄 회분을 가스화 조건인 고온, 환원분위기에서 점도 측정을 실시하였다. 4종의 탄에 대해서는 높은 점도를 낮추기 위하여 염기성 산화물인 CaO를 3가지 비율로 혼합하여 점도 측정을 실시하였다. 또한, flux의 혼합으로 인해 발생할 수 있는 결정체 형성을 FactSage 평형계산 프로그램과 CaO-SiO2-Al2O3 3성분계 상평형도를 이용하여 예측하였다. CaO가 첨가된 시료 모두에서 낮은 CaO 첨가비에서는 원래의 시료보다 낮은 점도를 보였으나, CaO첨가비가 20% 이상일 때는 anorthite이 형성되어 T_{cv}를 갖는 결정슬래그로 점도 거동이 변화하면서 실제조업 가능한 온도를 증가시켰다. 점도 측정 후 냉각된 시료의 SEM/EDX 분석을 통해 형성된 결정체를 관찰한 결과, FactSage와 상평형도에서 예측된 결정체와 유사하게 나타나 CaO-SiO2-Al2O3 3성분계 상평형도가 결정체 예측에 유용함을 확인하였다.
청소년의 전학경험과 학교생활부적응의 관계에서우울·불안의 매개효과

The purpose of this study is to verify differences in depression·anxiety and school maladjustment according to school transferring experience and to investigate the mediating effect of depression·anxiety in the relations between school transferring experience and school maladjustment. The subjects consisted of 2,516 elementary, middle and high school in Gim po. The results are as follows. First, transferred students showed higher level in school maladjustment and depression·anxiety. Secondly, School transferring experience did not affect by school maladjustment, however, school transferring experience affected depression·anxiety, and then depression·anxiety impacted on school maladjustment. Third, school transferring experience showed that there was no direct effect on school maladjustment, but school transferring experience effected school maladjustment mediated by depression·anxiety, that is, depression·anxiety was showed perfectly mediated effect relationship between school transferring experience and school maladjustment. On the basis of the above results, we suggest an approach for decreasing the school maladjustment from school transferring.

Bathing is a means to care for the body in water at an appropriate temperature that provides???? comfort to the body, and it has more efficacy than just cosmetics. Various functions can be given depending on the ingredients. The purpose of this study is to develop bathing aids as strategic products using medicinal herbs and to verify the effect of the bathing aids in vitro. We investigated the contents of flavonoid and phenolic compound, and antioxidant activity of the powdered three plants, extracted with water in 50oC (water extract of Lavandula angustifolia: LA, Zingiber officinale: ZO, Cymbopogon citratus: CC). LA possessed the highest level of both polyphenol (33.24 ± 1.15 μg GAE/mg of D.W) and fla?????? vonoid content (2.62 ± 0.18 μg QE/mg of D.W), while ZO contained the lowest. The antioxidant ?????? activities were analyzed by DPPH free radical scavenging and reducing power assay. The antioxidant activity was measured high in LA and CC, however, ZO exhibited low level of activity in both assays. These data suggest that these Korean herbal bathing candidates may be an effective therapeutic antioxidant supplements.
녹차, 국화, 사철쑥 열수추출물의 항산화 및 주름개선효과

This study is to investigate on the antioxidant efficacy of the natural plant extracts, and was intended to confirm the possibility of development of antioxidant and anti-aging as a functional cosmetic material. The hot water extract of Camellia sinensis (CS), Chrysanthemum morifolium (CM) and Artemisia capillaris (AC) were generally measured high in total flavonoid and phenolic content. CM contained the highest level of flavonoid content (6.86 ± 0.12 μg QE/mg of D.W), however CS was the most in phenolic content (39.83 ± 1.12 μg GAE/mg of D.W). The antioxidant activities of three extracts were tested by performing DPPH free radical scavenging and reducing power assay. According to the result of reducing power assay, CS exhibited the highest antioxidant activity, followed by CM and AC in a decreasing order. In case of DPPH free-radical scavenging assay, all three were high, but CS was found to be the most effective. Additionally, CS showed the strongest anti-elastase activity compared to the other extract. Together, these findings suggest
