Recently, a study on low energy house in apartment is proceed and most of the studies are published Energy reduction percentage as a result. But, Energy reduction percentage can't be accurate indicator of energy performance of the house. Because, there are too many difference standard houses which compared to a target of evaluation for calculating Energy reduction percentage. In order to improve indoor air quality and environmental conditions that induce better work productivity in office buildings, there is an increasing need for a system such as the underfloor air distribution system which effectively addresses both the need for an energy-efficient air conditioning system, by regulating indoor air quality with additional cost and time benefits, as well as for accommodating the demands of technologically wired workspaces.

The exfiltration and infiltration that are caused due to building's external and internal pressure difference occur heat loss from the building envelopes and cause displeasure to residents. Therefore, enhancing air tightness is a very important part in the building. The purpose of this study is to investigate the performance of air tightness at an apartment house. First of all, we enhanced air tightness of some houses in apartment and conducted blower door test in order to measure air leakage rate. Then, those results were applied to PHPP. On the basis of these data, we compared and analyzed each of the five cases which were selected according to the each part of air tightness. In addition, performance of air tightness was evaluated in accordance with enhancing housing performance gradually. Analysis results on air tightness are discussed in the paper.

This study has been conducted to propose an optimal design guidance of underfloor air distribution system by examining air pattern and proper exhaust status of floor plenum using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics). Simulation shows deficient air pattern and exhaust status at BPG (Bypass Grille) of the current design. As a means to find an alternative design, four cases have been developed and tested. Case 1,2 and 3 show similar results in comparison to the current design. However, case 4 shows improved air pattern and exhaust status at BPG(Bypass Grille), and has been chosen as the optimal alternative.

Nowadays Passivehouse gets very interested because of energy saving. There are a lot of conditions to meet Passivehouse criteria. Air conditioning system is one of the most important systems because Passivehouse is a very air tightness building-in other words there is no exfiltration and infiltration in Passivehouse. Therefore Passivehouse can"t emit contaminated air in a house without air conditioning system.

Recently large enclosures buildings are increased for new modern building and natural performance. But large enclosures building have several kind of problems especially heat environmental control. Following research is survey several large enclosures building`s character and analysis good and bad specificity. This paper suggests best way for large enclosures building HVAC system design method.
