After the liberalization policy of housing supply price in 1998, the similar and simple external appearance of the Apartment House is slowly changed into diverse and characteristic form in the facade, detail, and exterior finishing materials and so on. This change is caused by the competition between construction companies.<br/> In this study, the relationship between design of apartment components and consumers' visual preference was surveyed focused on the external appearance. Especially the divergence of exterior design before and after the liberalization policy was concerned. The result shows that consumers' visual preference were influenced by the facade design of each unit, lower part of building design and entrance design and so on by order. and The preference of whole building partially has relationship with the each component.

BEMS provide energy forecasting capabilities for effective energy management. Energy consumption prediction requires complete time series data, including missing data sets that may lead to biased results. However, it is a common problem that BEMS data is not measured due to power failure, communication barrier, maintenance and other reasons. Therefore, a solution is required for missing values. The existing methods will affect the results of the prediction model in the case of continuous missing interval or small amount of data. Therefore, this study uses VLSW algorithm which can generate fully learned data with only a small amount of data and SSIM model based on it to study the scheme to improve the prediction accuracy of building energy data set including missing values, and compares the difference with existing models. The results show that the SSIM model has better prediction accuracy than the existing LSTM technology. The concentration range of ASHRAE error level was satisfactory.

This study has been conducted to propose an optimal design guidance of underfloor air distribution system by examining air pattern and proper exhaust status of floor plenum using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics). Simulation shows deficient air pattern and exhaust status at BPG (Bypass Grille) of the current design. As a means to find an alternative design, four cases have been developed and tested. Case 1,2 and 3 show similar results in comparison to the current design. However, case 4 shows improved air pattern and exhaust status at BPG(Bypass Grille), and has been chosen as the optimal alternative.
