The objective of this work is to produce a method to assess the effects of information gathering and sharing across an information network on the quality of commands taken by a group of headquarters. The effect is measured mathematically in terms of the reduction in uncertainty about the information elements deemed critical to the commands to be taken at these headquarters. The more reports confirming information elements, the less uncertainty remains and the more knowledge is gained. In this case, we present the effects of collaboration among nodes on knowledge using entropy.

We focus on the network itself and its ability to enable efficient and effective information flow. All networks are complex to a greater degree, including military command and control systems operating in a network-centric environment. It requires to understand the nature of complexity, what its effects are, and how to quantify them. In this paper, we present the beneficial effects of information accessibility and network-based redundancy into a single metric.

A wireless Ad-hoc network is willing to send and receive data and for other nodes, and it is a temporal network where the nodes with mobility are automatically constituted. This network has been studied to construct networks in the state where there is no infrastructure. The limited nodes and its frequent moving in a wireless Ad-hoc network have resulted in frequent network disconnection. Therefore, the data transmission rate should be secured in a wireless Ad-hoc network. This study proposes the method to improve QoS of data transmission considering the mobility of nodes that respond to path searching by means of AOMDV routing protocol. By applying the suggested method, it is possible to raise the transmission rate by improving the reliability of transmission path.

Biliary cast describes the presence of casts within the biliary tree. It is resultant sequel of cholangitis and hepatocyte damage secondary to bile stasis and bile duct injury. Biliary cast syndrome was first reported in patient undergone liver transplantation. The pathogenesis of biliary cast is not clearly identified, but proposed etiologic factors include post-transplant bile duct damage, ischemia, biliary infection, or post-operative biliary drainage tube, Although biliary casts are uncommon, most of biliary cast syndrome are reported in the liver transplant or hepatic surgery patients. A few reports have been published about non-transplant or non-liver surgery biliary cast. We report two cases of biliary cast syndrome in non-liver surgery patients.
