동향 : 차세대 DVD 표준 경쟁: Blu-ray vs HD-DVD -플레이스테이션 3 표준 경쟁에서의 의의-

최근 차세대 DVD 플레이어들이 시장에 선을 보이면서 표준 경쟁이 가속화되고 있다. 소니를 중심으로 한 Blu-ray 진영과 도시바를 중심으로 한 HD-DVD 진영의 표준 경쟁에서 플레이스테이션 3의 출시는 초기 시장 형성에 있어서 변수가 될 수 있는 것으로 본 고에서는 차세대 DVD 표준 경쟁 현황과 플레이스테이션 3의 의의를 살펴보고자 한다. 소니는 올 봄 시즌에 플레이스테이션 3를 출시할 것이라고 언급해왔으나, PlayStation Business Briefing 2006 March에서 11월에 일본, 북미 그리고 유럽 동시 출시로 계획을 연기한바 있다. 그리고 다시 9월 6일에는 블루 레이저 다이오드의 생산 차질로 인하여, 유럽 출시를 내년 3월로 연기하고, 일본과 북미의 출시량을 절반으로 감소시킨다고 발표하였다(4백만대→2백만대). Blu-ray를 탑재한 플레이스테이션 3의 출시 지연은 소니와 도시바를 중심으로 한 차세대 DVD 표준 경쟁에 영향을 미칠 것으로 보인다.
MARS-KS 코드를 사용한 ATLAS 실험장치의 MSGTR-PAFS 사고 분석

Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute (KAERI) has been operating an integral effects test facility, the Advanced Thermal-Hydraulic Test Loop for Accident Simulation (ATLAS), according to APR1400 for transient experimental and design basis accident simulation. Moreover, based on the experimental data, the domestic standard problem (DSP) program has been conducted in Korea to validate system codes. Recently, through DSP-05, the performance of the passive auxiliary feedwater system (PAFS) in the event of multiple steam generator tube rupture (MSGTR) has been analyzed. However, some errors exist in the reference input model distributed for DSP-05. Furthermore, the calculation results of the heat loss correlation for the secondary system presented in the technical report of the reference indicate that a large difference is present in heat loss from the target value. Thus, in this study, the reference model is corrected using the geometric information from the design report and drawings of ATLAS. Additionally, a new heat loss correlation is suggested by fitting the results of the heat loss tests. Herein, MSGTR-PAFS accident analysis is performed using MARS-KS 1.5 with the improved model. The steady-state calculation results do not significantly differ from the experimental values, and the overall physical behavior of the transient state is properly predicted. Particularly, the predicted operating time of PAFS is similar to the experimental results obtained by the modified model. Furthermore, the operating time of PAFS varies according to the heat loss of the secondary system, and the sensitivity analysis results for the heat loss of the secondary system are presented.
원자층 증착법으로 제조된 Al-doped ZnO 투명전도막의 특성평가

AZO transparent conductive thin films were grown on $SiO_2$/Si and glass substrates using diethylzinc (DEZ) and trimethylaluminium (TMA) as the precursor and $H_2O$ as oxidant by atomic layer deposition. The structural, electrical, and optical properties of the AZO films were characterized as a function of film thickness at a deposition temperature of $150^{\circ}C$. The AZO films with various thicknesses show well-crystallized phases and smooth surface morphologies. The 190-nm-thick AZO films grown on Coming 1737 glass substrates exhibit rms(root mean square) roughness of 8.8 nm, electrical resistivity of $1.5{\times}10^{-3}\;{\Omega}-cm$, and an optical transmittance of 84% at 600nm wavelength. Atomic layer deposition technique for the transparent conductive oxide films is possible to apply for the deposition on flexible polymer substrates.
복합아민 적용에 따른 원전 2차 계통 부식생성물 거동평가

The aim of the study was to evaluate the water treatment of pressurized water reactor secondary side by the mixed amine of ammonia and ethanolamine, from the standpoint of corrosion control, as compared with all volatile treatment of ammonia. The pressurized water reactor systems have switched a secondary side pH control agent to minimize the corrosion in the moisture separator/reheater and feedwater heater systems and the transport of corrosion products into steam generator. As results of field test, pH was increased in the steam generator and the wet steam area of moisture separator/reheater and the concentration of Fe were decreased by more than 50% as compared with water treatment of ammonia.
