회절격자의 변조방식에 따라 형성된 CGH의 재생 영상 분석

회절격자의 회절 효율은 회절격자의 내부에 형성되는 격자의 구조에 의해 영향을 받으며, 이러한 격자의 구조는 변조방식에 의해 결정된다. 컴퓨터 형성 홀로그램(CGH) 역시 기본적으로 회절격자의 원리와 같기 때문에 CGH의 내부에 기록된 패턴은 변조 방식에 따라 달라지며 이 때문에 재생 영상의 성능에 영향을 미치게 된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 사실을 바탕으로 싸인파 변조 및 구형파 변조 방식에 따른 CGH를 제작하고 재생 영상의 특성을 분석하였다. 또한 각각의 변조방식에 대하여 진폭 및 위상형, 위상형 그리고 이진 위상형 CGH의 재생 능력을 분석하였다. The diffraction efficiencies of gratings are affected by the inner structure which is determined by modulation type. CGH (Computer generated Hologram) basically uses the principles of a diffraction grating. As like as the diffraction gratings the patterns recorded in the CGH are different according to modulation methods which result in the performances of the reconstructed images. In this paper, on this fact CGHs are recorded according to sinusoidal and rectangular modulation methods and the characteristics of reconstructed images are analyzed. Also the reconstruction performances of the amplitude and phase, phase-only and binary phase CGH are analyzed.

배열형 소형 프레넬 렌즈가 결합된 LCD 백라이트의 설계

LCD 백라이트의 효율을 향상시키기 위하여 배열형 소형 프레넬 렌즈(micro Fresnel lens array)가 결합된 도광판을 설계하였다. 배열형 소형 프레넬 렌즈(MFLA)는 blazed 형태 및 다단계 이진 형태를 채택하였다. MFLA는 기존 LCD 백라이트 장치에서 필요로 했던 프리즘판 및 확산판을 대체할 수 있다. MFLS가 적용된 도광판의 성능을 나타내기 위하여 휘도와 균일도 값 등을 계산하였다. A light guided plate coupled with the micro Fresnel lens array(MFTA) is designed to improve the efficiency of the LCD backlight unit. Blazed Frenel lens and binary multi-level Fresnel lens are adapted for the MFLA. This type of MFLA can replace the prism sheet and diffuser sheet which are used for the conventional type of the LCD backlight unit. The luminance and uniformity are calculated to verify the performance of the MFLA type LCD backlight unit.

컴퓨터 형성 홀로그램 및 재생 영상에 따른 지문 인식 특성 분석

지문 인식은 입력된 지문 영상과 컴퓨터 단말기 혹은 호스트 컴퓨터에 보관중인 지문 영상을 상호 비교하여 일치 또는 불일치를 판단함으로써 이루어진다. 지문 인식 과정에 암호화 및 복호화 과정은 필수적이며 이 과정에서 컴퓨터 형성 홀로그램(CGH)을 사용하며 CGH로부터 재생된 지문 영상을 상호 비교하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 광학적 패턴 인식 시스템을 사용하여 지문 영상들의 CGH로부터 재생된 지문 영상들을 비교하는 방법과 이와는 달리 지문 영상들의 CGH를 직접 비교하는 방법을 상호 비교하여 두 가지 방법의 근본적인 지문 인식 능력의 차이점을 분석하였으며, 후자의 경우가 전자의 경우 보다 약 150배 정도 인식률이 높았다. 특히 CGH를 이용한 지문 인식의 경우 CGH의 형성 방식에 따른 특성 변화를 분석하였다. Finger-print recognition is achieved by comparing an input finger-print image with the stored images in the computer, and finally by determining agreement or disagreement. Encryption and decryption are necessary in the finger-print recognition process. In these process CGH (Computer Generated Hologram) is used, and finger-print images reconstructed from the CGHs are compared. In this paper, two methods of recognition are used, one is to compare the finger-print images of each other reconstructed from their CGHs and the other is to compare the CGHs to each other directly, to analyze the differences of finger-print recognition capability between these two methods. Experimental results show that the capability of finger-print recognition for comparing the CGHs of the two is about 150 times higher than in case of comparing the reconstructed finger-print images. Especially the changes of characteristics according to modulation types of CGH are analyzed.

宋相琦의 生涯와 意識世界

본고는 옥오재 송상기의 생애를 살펴보고 그가 남긴 시문을 바탕으로 그의 내면의식을 고찰하고자 하였다. 논의 내용을 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 송상기는 은진 송씨의 후예로 송준길과 송시열에게 수학하였으며 청화요직을 두루 역임하는 비교적 평탄한 삶을 영위하였다. 1712년 정시에서 비롯된 壬辰科獄으로 곤란을 겪기도 했지만 처벌되지는 않았다, 인원왕후의 諺敎를 矯誣했다는 이유로 강진에 유배되어 적소에서 운명하였다. 둘째, 송상기는 자신의 호를 玉吾라 하였다. 이는 하늘이 자신에게 옥과 같이 훌륭한 자질을 부여해 주었으므로 자아를 존중하고 고수하겠다는 의지의 표현이었다. 그는 부귀와 명예, 威武나 형벌을 성취하거나 두려워하여 하늘이 부여해준 존귀한 자아를 저버리지 않겠다는 의지의 소유자였다. 이를 바탕으로 임금의 私心 제거를 강력히 주장한 강단 있는 인물이다. 셋째, 송상기는 精緻한 독서를 통해 성현의 도를 밝히고자 하였다. 그는 많은 책을 읽기보다는 정확한 의미를 분석하는 독서를 강조하였다. 중단 없는 꾸준한 독서를 통해 분명한 의미를 파악하는 것에 가치를 두었다. 이는 단순히 좋은 문장을 짓기 위한 노력이 아니라 성현의 도를 올바로 이해하기 위한 방안이었다. 넷째, 청이 건국된 뒤에 소중화를 자처하던 조선의 선비들이 대부분 그랬던 것처럼 송상기 역시 뚜렷한 排淸 意識의 소유자였다. 서장관으로 燕行하였던 송상기는 그 과정에서 지은 시와 이후 연행에 나서는 인불들을 전송하는 시에서 淸에 대한 폄하를 여과 없이 드러내고 있다. The purpose of this piece of writing is to examine Okohjae Song, Sang-ki’s life and consider his inner consciousness on the basis of the poetry and prose he left. The discussions are organized as follows: First, Song, Sang-ki was the descent from the Song family clan of Eunjin, and he studied under Song, Jun-kil and Song, Si-yeol, leading a comparatively smooth life while widely holding glorious, important posts. In 1712, Song once suffered a hardship due to Imjingwaok (a criminal case caused by cheating on the state examination in the 29th year of sexagenary cycle), but he wasn’t punished. Song, Sang-ki was exiled to Gangjin on charges of fabricating and falsifying the queen consort Inwon’s message, and finally died at the place of exile. Second, Song, Sang-ki wrote under the pen name of Okho, which was the expression of his will to respect and stick to his self because heaven invested him with the admirable quality like a jade. Song, Sang-ki was the possessor of the will not to desert the high and noble self invested by heaven in fear of enjoying riches, honors, authority, and using armed force, or giving punishment. In other words, Song, Sang-ki was a wiry figure who strongly argued the necessity of eradicating a king’s selfish interests. Third, Song.Sang-ki intended to elucidate the right path of a sage through elaborate reading. He put more emphasis on the analytical reading for accurate meanings rather than just reading lots of books. In addition, he put more value on the understanding of clear meanings through unremitting steady reading. This was a scheme for properly understanding the right path of a sage other than an effort to write simply a good sentence. Fourth, like most of the scholars, who set up as little China after Ching dynasty was founded, did, Song, Sang-ki was also a possessor of the clear anti-Clung consciousness. Song, Sang-ki, who made a visit to Beijing in China as a status of Seojanggwan(a recording officer)exposed his derogation of China under the Ching dynasty without any filtering in his poem written in the process of taking a trip to Beijing in China, and another poem written when he came down to see the figures out, who set out for a business trip to Beijing in China.

프레넬 컴퓨터 홀로그램을 이용한 결합광상관기의 영상 인식

We present a new technique of face recognition capability of the JTC by using the computer generated holograms(CGH) of the 3-D face images instead of using those original images. This method of using the CGH of the 3-D face images for the pattern recognition have advantages such as security and counterfeit problems compared with the conventional method of using those original images. This technique calculates Fresnel diffraction pattern of the 3-D face images by using computer program to obtain Fresnel CGH of those images, then recognize the face images using the JTC. This paper presents some data of correlation peaks and SNR, representing 2.6 and 2.4 respectively, shows the discrimination capability of this new method.

『논어(論語)』,『맹자(孟子)』의 경문(經文)과 주자(朱子) 집주(集注)의 문법(文法) 비교(比較) -문법 설명 양상과 의의를 중심으로-

朱子의 『사서장구집주(四書章句集注)』는 후대의 학자들에게 막대한 영향을 끼쳤다. 집주의 내용은 자학(字學)으로부터 역사(歷史), 철학(哲學)에 이르기까지 광범위한데, 본고는 문법 측면에 초점을 맞춰 주자집주의 문법 설명 방법을 검토하였다. 검토 결과를 요약하면 주자는 다음과 같은 방법으로 경문(經文)의 문법을 설명하였다. 첫째, 경문에 사용된 허사를 유사한 허사로 대체하였다. 둘째, 경문의 도치된 어순을 한문의 기본 어순대로 변환하였다. 셋째, 경문에서 생략한 문장성분을 적극적으로 보충하였다. 넷째, 허사를 활용하여 경문과 다른 결구형식으로 전환하였다. 주자는 집주에서 문법을 직접적으로 설명하지는 않았지만, 이상의 방법을 꾸준히 사용하였다. 이는 우연히 그렇게 된 것이 아니라 주자가 집주를 기술하면서 문법 설명에도 관심을 기울인 결과라 하겠다. 주자 집주의 문법 설명 방법이 새로운 문법이론을 제시해 주는 것은 아니다. 그러나 기존에 제시된 문법 이론들을 예문을 통해 실증적으로 보여준다는 점, 상호 비교 가능한 예문을 생산해 냈기 때문에 이를 문법 교육에 활용함으로써 초학자의 독해력 신장을 유도할 수 있다는 점, 결구형식이 전환된 문장을 통해 修辭 방법 및 연구에 활용 가능하다는 점에서 의의를 찾을 수 있다 『Saseojanggujipju(四書章句集注)』 had a massive impact on the later scholars. The contents of variorum notae are extensive from literature to history and philosophy, and this writing examined the method of grammatical explanation of Chu Hsi variorum notae by focusing on grammatical aspects. To summarize the examination result, Chu Hsi explained the grammar of the the way as follows: First, Chu Hsi replaced the expletive used for the text with its similar expletive. Second Chu Hsi converted the inverted word order of the text to the basic word order of Chinese classics. Third, Chu Hsi aggressively replenished the sentence constituent omitted in the text. Fourth, Chu Hsi converted to the structural form differing from the text using expletives. It was found that Chu Hsi didn’t directly explain the grammar in variorum notae, but he used the above methods steadily. This could be interpreted as a thing made by chance but as the result of his concentration of concern for grammatical explanation as well while describing variorum notae. The method of grammatical explanation shown in Chu Hsi variorum notae doesn’t suggest a new grammar theory. However, it’s possible to find significance from his method in that Chu Hsi’s method of grammatical explanation shows the grammar theories suggested in the past through example sentences; his method of grammatical explanation produced mutually comparable example sentences, so it’s possible to induce the increase in a beginning student’s reading comprehension by applying the example sentences to grammar education, and Chu Hsi’s method of grammatical explanation is available for rhetorical method & research through the sentences whose structural form are converted

바이너리 프레넬 렌즈를 이용한 LCD 멀티미디어 스크린의 갭 최소화

액정 멀티미디어 스크린은 효과적인 영상 정보를 표시하고 전달하는데 매우 중요한 역할을 한다. 그러나 이러한 시스템은 여러개의 액정 스크린을 사용하므로 이들 액정 스크린 사이에 갭이 발생하는 문제점이 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해서 본 논문에서는 바이너리 프레넬 렌즈를 사용하는 방법을 제시하였다. 바이너리 프레넬 렌즈를 사용하면 각각의 영상을 확대시키게 되며 결과적으로 갭을 최소화 할 수 있다. 바이너리 프레넬 렌즈의 설계 파라미터의 최적화 결과를 제시하였다. LCD multimedia system is necessary to display and transfer the effective image informations. However, this system uses several LCD screens, so the problem of gap between the LCD screens occurs. In order to solve this problem, this paper presents a method of using binary Fresnel lens. This kind of binary Fresnel lens makes each screen enlarge and minimize the gap. The optimization of design parameters of binary Fresnel lens is presented.

스테레오스코픽 영상을 이용한 JTC 시스템의 패턴 인식

JTC (Joint Transform Correlator) system is widely used for various kinds of fields such as pattern recognition of finger-print, face and character, and tracking system finding a specific object. This system is useful for optical finger-print recognition because of its advantages of simple optical method and high accuracy. This paper deals with face recognition using this JTC system, and especially analyzed the two methods of using a single face image and stereo face images captured by a stereo camera. In this paper, stereoscopic rendering of the computer graphic method is used to capture stereoscopic face images, and the stereoscopic rendering is based on the openGL platform. Correlation peak and SNR of the JTC system is presented to show a usefulness of the JTC system using the stereoscopic face images.
