With the booming complementary medicine as a social trend of well-being, treatment by the sound waves of six kinds of syllables is believed to restore that healthy balance to the body. Sound therapy refers to a range of therapies in which sound is used to treat physical and mental conditions. Healing is done by transmitting beneficial sound to the affected area related to five viscera and six bowels. The healing sound may be produced by a voice. sound wave vibrations are to treat physical and mental conditions. In general, this therapy is based on the theory that all of life vibrates, including people's bodies. When a person's healthy resonant frequency is out of balance, physical and emotional health is affected. When a person's healthy resonant frequency is out of balance, physical and emotional health is affected. This paper focuses on the sound therapy by six syllables of 'hyu', 'huo', 'ho', 'sa', 'chi' and 'hui'.

도가(道家)의 기혈(氣穴)과 한의학(韓醫學)의 명문사상(命門思想)

This paper aims at the comparative study of practicing Buddhism and Taoism related to "life gate". The term "life gate", as a physiological entity of disputed morphological identity, first appears in The Inner Canon where it refers to the eyes. Reference to a "life gate" as an internal organ body first appears in The Classic of Difficult Issues which states, "The two kidneys are not both kidneys' The left one is the kidney, and the right is the life gate." Successive scholars refers to life gate as a gi point of Taoists.. The question of the life gate invited little discussion until the Myeong and Cheong Dynasty, when various different theories were put forward. Especially Jin Sa-taek says "life gate" is the governor of the twelve place in the human body, throwing light on the meaning of it. Not that life gate denotes a local point, it does a system of life gate. Generally speaking, life gate designates cinnabar field. I think that the human body produces essence by way of life gate. That is, the human body is unified by the system of life gate. Life gate is not only the source of infusing the engine of the human body with vital energy but also as well as gi-point.

급성 신부전을 보인 아세트아미노펜에 의한 급성 간질성 신염 1례

Acute interstital nephritis can occur by acetaminophen, but it is rarely presented as acute renal failure with azotemia. We report a case of acute interstitial nephritis induced by acetaminophen in a 14-year-old girl who developed non-oliguric acute renal failure. She has taken acetaminophen to control the persistent throat pain for the last two months. Renal biopsy revealed diffuse infiltration of mononuclear inflammatory cells admixed with eosinophils in the edematous interstitia. After the discontinuation of acetaminophen and the administration of corticosteroid, the serum creatinine level returned to normal.

Lingshu, discusses acupuncture therapy in great detail. And there are many aspects in the book devoted to acupuncture, especially acupuncture description is rather and more organized. The book establishes the theory of meridians which explains the roots of meridians in details, and points out the location of acupoints and describes the standard of how to locates acupoints, sets forth nine kinds of needles and their uses. It lays thetheoretical foundation of Korean Medicine. This article could help improve the understanding of the blood-letting therapy in "Lingshu" and also paves the way for applying the therapy to treatment of the various diseases.

저자들은 핍뇨를 주소로 내원한 12세 남아에서 임상 소견 및 검사 소견 상 전신적 강직성 경련으로 유발뇐 횡문근융해증에 의해 초래된 급성신부전으로 진단하고 충분한 수액공급 소변의 알칼리화, 이뇨제 투여와 함께 항경련제의 사용으로 경련을 조절함으로써 급성신부전이 호전된 1례를 경험하였기에 보고하는 바이다. Rhabdomyolysis is a syndrome resulting from skeletal muscle injury with release of muscle cell contents into the plasma. It has been reported as a cause of acute renal failure(ARF), and often associated with alcohol abuse, muscle compression, infections, and generalized seizure. Rhabdomyolysis-induced ARF is rare in children. We experienced a case of rhabdomyolysis-induced ARF in a 12-year-old boy who presented with azotemia and oliguria secondary to convulsion. After the control of convulsion by antiepileptic drugs, the daily urine output gradually increased and systemic features recovered with appropriate hydration and alkalinization. Purpose : This study was aimed to determine the predictive risk factors for the treatment response and relapse rate in children diagnosed with idiopathic nephrotic syndrome. Methods : We analyzed the medical records of children who were diagnosed and treated for childhood idiopathic nephrotic syndrome from November 1991 to May 2005. Variables selected in this study were age at onset, sex, laboratory data, concomitant bacterial infections, days to remission, and interval to first relapse. Results : There were 46 males and 11 females, giving a male:female ratio of 4.2:1. The age($mean{\pm}SD$) of patients was $5.8{\pm}4.1$ years old. Of all patients who were initially given corticosteroids, complete remission(CR) was observed in 54(94.7%). Of the 54 patients who showed CR with initial treatment, 40(70.2%) showed CR within 2 weeks and 14(24.6%) showed CR after 2 weeks. The levels of serum IgG were lower in the latter group who showed CR after 2 weeks(P=0.036). Of the 54 patients who showed CR with initial treatment, 47(82.5%) relapsed. Of these patients, 35.1% were frequent relapsers and 43.9% were infrequent relapsers. There was no significant correlation between the frequency of relapse and the following variables : sex, days to remission, and laboratory data. However, age at onset and interval to first relapse had a negative correlation with the frequency of relapse(Pearson's coefficient=-0.337, -0.433, P<0.012, P<0.01). Conclusion : The age at onset and the interval to first relapse were found to be predictive clinical parameters for the relapse rate, while the levels of serum IgG at initial presentation were a predictive laboratory factor for treatment response in childhood idiopathic nephrotic syndrome.

This paper approaches English word stress within the framework of Optimality Theory. We have seen that there are constraints that interact to produce correct word stress pattern. Foot structure constraints, Ft-Bin, Ft-Form, and WSP, are undominated. Therefore the trochaic footing and quantity requirement are strictly obeyed in English foot building. Non-Head(ə) guarantees that underlying schwa accounts for various apparent exceptions. This paper identifies four different such subcategorization constraints : Align-to-δ, Align-in-δ, Align-to-Ft, and Align-to-PrWd. What is really interesting in this approaches that one suffix may have more than one constraint, thereby restricting its appearance in actual words. One step further, this paper shows that the present approach can also explain the so-called cyclicity effect of the stress assignment. Previous cyclical stress theory fails in explaining the difference between the derived and underived word. Therefore, this paper provides new solutions to the old problem of accounting for the difference between the derived and underived words regarding the stress assignment and wellformed word formation.

굴패각을 사용한 콘크리트 강도발현에 관한 실험적 연구

본 연구는 남해안 연안에 방치되고 있는 굴패각을 세골재 크기의 5.0mm이하로 분쇄하여 실제 현장에서 사용가능한 세골재 대체재로 활용하여 굴패각을 사용한 콘크리트의 성질 및 제반 강도들에 대해 연구한 것이다. 이를 위해 기본 실험과 주요 변화 요인들에 대해 1,028개의 공시체 및 시험체를 제작․실험한 결과 굴패각을 사용한 콘크리트 제반 강도는 일반콘크리트 강도와 최대 10%정도 차이를 보였으며 세골재 대체재로서 우수한 굴패각 입도크기는 5.0mm이하를 균등하게 취한 경우로 약 30%까지는 대체 가능한 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 본 논문에서는 굴패각을 사용한 제반 콘크리트 강도상호 관계식들을 제시하였고 이의 탄성계수는 굴패각 대체율이 증가할수록 감소하였는데 대체율 10%까지는 거의 유사한 값을 보였다. This is an experimental study on the properties and the strength development of concrete using of the oyster shells as a substitute fine aggregate of concrete. For this purpose, the fundamental experiments of the materials and the main factors on it were considered and then the workability and many kinds of strength about the specimens were also studied. As the experimental results, there were strength differences of less than 10% between concrete with oyster shells and normal and the most excellent grain size of oyster shells is 5.0mm and less with taking uniformly and the percentage of practicable substitution of them to fine aggregate about 30%. This paper also represents the relationship equations among many kinds of strength and elastic modulus of concrete with the oyster shells decreased with increase in proportion of oyster shells and curve of it is similar about the percentage of substitution of 10%.
