Mycobacterium malmoense is a very rare cause of lung disease in South Korea. We reported the first case of lung disease caused by M. malmoense in an immunocompetent patient. The patient was successfully treated with a 14-month course of antibiotics.

The purpose of the this study was to examine differences in recognition and attitude toward homosexuality according to the homosexuality-related characteristics of high school students. The subjects were 290 high school students in the general city of A city. Results are follows. It was gender and religion that showed the difference in recognition and attitude towards homosexuality according to the characteristics of the subjects and it showed the difference in recognition and attitude toward homosexuality according to characteristics related to homosexuality is the experience of gender identity problems. That is, women compared to men and non religious, Buddhist, Catholic showed exclusive attitudes about homosexuality compared to Christians. And when there was the experience of gender identity problems, it was exclusive about homosexuality compared with nothing. Although 61.7% of the respondents had experience of contacting information on homosexuality, 26.8% through lectures, most of which personally touched information by media. Based on these research results, we provide surveys on homosexuality and various studies. 본 연구는 고등학생을 대상으로 일반적 특성 및 동성애 관련된 특성에 따른 동성애에 대한 인식과 태도의 차이를 알아보았다. 연구 대상은 A시의 일반계 고등학생 294명을 대상으로 조사하였고, 불성실한 설문을 제외한 290부가 최종 분석에 사용되었다. 연구결과 대상자의 특성에 따른 동성애자에 대한 인식과 태도 차이를 보인 것은 성별, 종교였고 동성애 관련된 특성에 따른 동성애에 대한 인식과 태도 차이를 보인 것은 성정체성 고민 경험이었다. 즉 여성은 남성에 비해 그리고 무교, 불교, 천주교인은 기독교인에 비해 동성애에 대해 배타적인 태도를 보였다. 그리고 성정체성 고민 경험이 있는 경우 없는 경우에 비해 동성애에 대해 배타적이었다. 연구대상자의 61.7%에서 동성애에 관한 정보를 접한 경험이 있었으나 강의를 통해서는 26.8%였고 대부분 개인적으로 대중매체에 의해 정보를 접하고 있었다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 청소년을 대상으로 동성애 관련 실태조사와 함께 청소년에게 동성애에 대한 정확한 정보와 지지를 줄 수 있는 교육과 상담 프로그램을 시행하고 효과를 확인하기 위한 연구를 제안한다.

Computational fluid dynamic (CFD) could analysis the flow characteristics in the nozzle exit with fluid condition variation. Consequently, the purpose of this paper is to show that the fluid temperature and velocity field formed in the nozzle exit dominates the understanding for flow phenomenon. High fluid velocity can cause such a high temperature in the test gas that dust the particles grow. For this reason the flow conditions with air-air, air-vapor as test gases were used in this paper. The most important result to come from the CFD was the existence of the shock wave structure which was a dominant influence on the flow characteristics in the nozzle exit. Specially, It has an advantage to confirm the normal shock wave location because the temperature field variation of the flow distinguish clearly through mach disc.Also, the temperature through normal shockwave is at around 2.0 times higher than in atmosphere fluid condition. Consequently, this can be used as a good technical background for the design of rocket engine.

본 논문에서는 나노임프린트 리소그래피 기술을 이용하여 다양한 발수 표면을 제작하였으며, 발수기능의 안정성을 향상시키기 위해 액적의 충돌 거동에 대하여 평탄한 단위면적에 대한 구조물의 면적비인 표면 변수의 영향에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 액적의 충돌 거동을 연구하기 위해 액적 충돌 시험을 통하여 충돌한 액적이 되튐에서 분산으로 천이 되는 임계높이를 측정하였다. 높은 표면 변수에서는 낮은 임계높이가 관찰되었으나, 낮은 표면변수에서는 임계높이가 증가하는 경향을 관찰하였다. 그러나, 표면변수가 더욱 감소할 경우 임계높이가 다시 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 관찰된 결과는 높은 임계높이를 위해서는 최적의 표면 형상 설계가 요구됨을 제시하고 있다. In this paper, the hydrophobic rough surfaces were prepared by employing a conventional nano-imprint lithography technique, and the effects of surface parameter, ratio of the top surface to the flat unit cell, on the impingement behaviors of liquid droplet were investigated to improve robustness of hydrophobic functionality. The critical height defined for the transition from rebound to fragmentation is measured by droplet impingement test in order to study dynamic behavior of an impinged droplet. It showed the critical height decreased with high surface parameter while it increased with low surface parameter. However, the critical height decreased again as surface parameter decreased further. Observed results suggest that the optimized surface pattern should be designed for the increased critical height.

A 8-year-o1d castrated male Shit-tzu dog was presented with chronic, severe and recurrent bilateral otitis externa. Clinical signs were stenosis, swelling, severe discharges from external auditory canal and pruritus of the ear. A diagnosis of the patient was made based on history, Physical examination, otoscopic examination, cytological examination and radiography. The dog was diagnosed to end-stage otitis externa and followed by treatment with systemic cyclosporine administration and topical solution. Clinical symptoms were resolved after 4 weeks cyclosporine therapy.
