        Relationship between academic stress, sleep quality and depression in nursing college students

        본 연구는 간호대학생의 학업스트레스, 수면의 질, 우울과의 관계를 규명하기 위하여 시도되었다. 자료는 160명의 B대학교의 간호대학생으로부터 온라인 설문 조사를 통해 수집되었다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 18.0을 사용하여 분석하였다. 일반적인 특성에 따른 학업 스트레스, 수면의 질, 우울의 차이를 분석한 결과. 학업 스트레스는 신체적 건강(F=6.326, p<.001) 및 정신 건강(F=11.630, p<.001)과 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 수면의 질은 신체적 건강(F=8.834, p<.001)과, 우울은 신체적 건강(F=9.619, p<.001) 및 정신건강(F=28.625, p<.001)과 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 학업스트레스, 수면의 질, 우울의 상관관계를 분석한 결과, 학업스트레스와 우울은 양의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다(r=.242, p<.01). 따라서 간호대학생의 신체적, 정신적 건강을 유지하고 향상시킬 수 있는 중재 교육프로그램를 개발할 필요가 있다. This study identifies the relationship between academic stress, sleep quality and depression of nursing college students. The data was collected from 155 nursing students by the online survey. Data were analyzed using SPSS 18.0. As a result of analyzing the differences in academic stress, sleep quality, and depression according to general characteristics. It was confirmed that academic stress had a significant difference from physical health (F=6.326, p<.001) and mental health (F=11.630, p<.001). Sleep quality was different from physical health (F=8.834, p<.001), and depression was found to be different from physical health (F=9.619, p<.001) and mental health (F=28.625, p<.001). The results of analyzing the correlation between academic stress, sleep quality, and depression were found to have a positive correlation between academic stress and depression (r=.242, p<.01). Therefore, identifying the relationship between academic stress, sleep quality and depression among nursing college students is necessary to devise a plan to maintain and improve their physical and mental health

        Relationship between Academic and Clinical Practice Stress and Major Satisfaction in Nursing Students

        본 연구는 간호대학생의 학업 및 임상실습 스트레스와 전공 만족도의 관계를 확인학기 위하여 시도되었다. 자료는 140명의 B대학교의 간호대학생으로부터 온라인 설문 조사를 통해 수집되었다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 18.0을 사용하여 분석되었다. 일반적인 특성에 따른 학업 및 임상실습 스트레스, 전공 만족도와의 차이를 분석한 결과, 학업 스트레스는 종교와 차이가 있었으며(F=14.348, p<.001), 전공 만족도는 성적에 따라 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다(F=4.582, p=0.004). 학업 스트레스, 임상실습 스트레스 및 전공 만족도의 상관 관계를 분석한 결과, 학업 스트레스는 임상실습 스트레스와 양의 상관관계가 있고(r=.388, p<.01), 임상실습 스트레스는 전공 만족도와 양의 상관 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다 (r=.336, p<.01). 따라서 간호학 전공의 만족도를 높이기 위해서는 학업 스트레스를 낮추는 프로그램 개발이 필요하다고 판단된다. This study aimed to identify the relationship between academic and clinical practice stress and major satisfaction of nursing students. The data was collected from 140 nursing students by the online survey. Data were analyzed using SPSS 18.0. As a result of analyzing the differences in academic stress, clinical practice stress, and major satisfaction according to general characteristics, it was found that academic stress had a difference with religion (F = 14.348, p < .001). And there was a statistical difference in major satisfaction with grade (F = 4.582, p = .004). As for the correlation between academic and clinical practice stress, and major satisfaction, academic stress and clinical practice stress were positively correlated (r = .388, p <.01), and clinical practice stress had a positive correlation with major satisfaction (r=.336, p<.01). Therefore, it is considered that it is necessary to develop a program to lower academic stress in order to improve the satisfaction of the majors of nursing students.

        일 지역 보건간호사의 근거기반실무에 대한 인식과 적용

        본 연구는 일 지역 지역사회현장에서 활동하는 보건간호사를 대상으로 근거기반실무 준비도, 근거기반실무 활동 및 근거기반 실무 역량을 파악하는 것으로, 연구대상은 충남지역 보건소에서 근무하는 보건간호사로서 119명이었다. 자료는 SAS 9.4 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 대상자의 일반적 특성에 따른 근거기반실무 준비도를 분석한 결과, 학회 가입 여부에서는 연령(p=.017), 학회 참석은 교육수준(p<.001), 논문게재 및 발표(p=.019), 논문작성 참여(p=.001)와 논문 읽기에서 교육수준(p<.001)에 따라 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 일반적 특성에 따른 근거기반실무 활동에서는 임상질문(PICO) 만들기(p=.029)와 문헌검색 경험(p=.021)에서만 교육수준에서 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 일반적 특성에 따른 근거기반실무 역량에서는 근거기반실무 역량 전체(p<.001), 태도(p=.012), 기술(p=.007) 및 지식영역(p=.045)에서 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과 교육수준이 높을수록 근거기반실무 준비도, 활동, 역량 등이 향상되었음을 알 수 있었으며, 지역사회간호 분야에서의 근거기반실무의 교육프로그램 및 간호방법 개발에 기여할 것으로 기대한다. This study was conducted to identify perception and application for Evidence-Based Practice(EBP) in community health nurses in Korea. The data was collected via structural questionnaires completed by 119 community health nurses in Chungcheongnamdo. Data were analyzed using SAS 9.4. The result showed that there were a significant differences of EBP preparation by general characteristics; in the joining academic society among the age (p=.017), the participating conference (p<.001), publishing (p=.019), participating research (p=.001) among education, in the reading among the education (p<.001) and position (p=.087). There were significant differences of EBP activity by general characteristics; in the making PICO (p=.029) and Searching academic references (p=.021) among the education. And There were significant differences of EBP competency by general characteristics; in the total competency (p<.001), attitude (p=.012) and skill (p=.007) among the education. The findings showed that nurses with higher education are more likely to use and value the best available evidence for practice. This study will be useful not only to explore but also to develope educational programs to assist community health nurses using the process of EBP and the associated skills in each institute.

        간호대학생의 자아탄력성, 자기효능감 및 학과만족도의 관계

        The purpose of this study was to examine the correlation among ego-resilience, self-efficacy, and major satisfaction of nursing students. Method: A descriptive study design was used. Data were collected on May 2020 through an survey of 143 nursing students. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 25.0. Results: The mean scores of ego-resilience, self-efficacy and major satisfaction in nursing students were 3.52±0.65, 3.42±0.54, and 3.82±0.49, respectively. Ego-resilience showed significant positive correlations with self-efficacy and major satisfaction. Self-efficacy was also positively correlated with major satisfaction. Conclusion: The findings of this study demonstrated a need for continuous efforts and strategies to enhance department satisfaction of nursing students through increasing their levels of ego-resilience and self-efficacy. We propose a further exploratory study on a wide range of factors affecting major satisfaction.

        국제결혼 이주여성의 임신·출산 및 영유아 양육 지식과 교육요구도

        본 연구는 국제결혼 이주여성의 임신·출산 및 영유아 양육에 대한 지식과 교육요구도를 조사함으로써, 향후 국제결혼 이주여성을 위한 임신·출산 및 영유아 양육 교육프로그램 개발에 기초자료로 활용하고자 시도되었다. 연구대상자는 충청남도 C시에 거주하는 국제결혼 이주여성으로 150명을 임의 표출방법으로 선정하였으나 응답이 불성실한 28부를 제외한 122명이었으며, 2010년 5월부터 8월까지 자료를 수집하였고, SPSS WIN 17.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 대상자의 임신·출산 지식은 5점 만점에 평균 3.35점으로 나타났고, 거주지역과 자녀유무에 따라 유의한 차이를 보였다. 임신ㆍ출산 교육요구도는 5점 만점에 평균 3.64점으로 나타났고, 출신국에 따라 유의한 차이를 보였다. 대상자의 영유아 양육 관련 지식은 5점 만점에 평균 3.16점으로 나타났고, 자녀유무 따라 유의한 차이를 보였다. 영유아 양육 교육요구도는 5점 만점에 평균 3.66점으로 나타났고, 출신국과 자녀유무에 따라 유의한 차이를 보였다. 국제결혼 이주여성의 임신·출산(p=0.003) 및 영유아 양육(p=0.001) 지식수준과 교육요구도간에는 유의한 차이를 보였으며, 지식수준보다 교육요구도가 유의하게 높게 나타났다. 본 연구결과, 임신·출산 및 영유아 양육 지식보다 교육요구도가 유의하게 높았으며, 임신·출산 및 영유아 양육 교육요구도는 유사한 수준으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 국제결혼 이주여성의 자녀 존재 유무 및 자녀의 연령에 제한을 두지 않았으며 또한 일지역 국제결혼 이주여성을 대상으로 실시된 연구이므로 본 연구결과를 일반화시키기에 제한이 있다. 따라서 향후 국제결혼 이주여성의 자녀 존재유무 및 자녀의 연령에 제한을 둘 뿐 아니라 다른 지역의 국제결혼 이주여성을 대상으로 반복연구가 시도될 필요가 있다. 또한 국제결혼 이주여성의 임신ㆍ출산 및 영유아 양육 지식수준과 교육요구도에 영향을 미치는 요인들에 대한 탐색연구와 임신ㆍ출산 및 영유아 양육 지식을 향상시키기 위한 교육 및 상담프로그램의 적용과 이에 대한 효과검증 연구가 이루어져야 할 것이다. Objectives: This study was performed to understand pregnancy, delivery, and infant rearing knowledge and educational need of marriage immigrant women to be utilized as a basic data for developing a suitable educational program. Methods: The subject of the study was composed of one hundred twenty two married immigrant women who live in South Korea. The method used in determining the population was the convenience sampling method. The data were gathered by means of personal interviews using questionnaires. Results: The mean score of pregnancy and delivery knowledge was 3.35, educational need was 3.64 out of 5, and infant rearing knowledge was 3.16, educational need was 3.66 out of 5. The pregnancy and delivery knowledge of the subject showed significant differences based on their present residential location and presence of children and their educational need varies according to their country of origin. The infant rearing knowledge on the other hand, showed notable differences according to presence of children while homeland and existence of children were the two major factors that greatly influenced the significant variation for educational need. Conclusions: The score of pregnancy, delivery and infant educational need were higher than knowledge. The score of pregnancy, delivery, and infant rearing educational need garnered similar results. Thus it is suggested that further researches should be conducted for the development, application, and verification of pregnancy, delivery, and infant rearing education programs that consider knowledge and educational need of immigrant married women in South Korea.

        간호대학생의 다문화수용에 대한 주관성

        The purpose of this study was to identify subjectivity on the multicultural acceptance of nursing students using Q-methodology. Methods: The 28 selected Q-statements from each of 27 participants were classified into the shape of normal distribution using a 7-point scale. The collected data were analyzed using the pc-QUANL program. Results: The results revealed three types of nursing students subjectivity toward multicultural acceptance: Type Ⅰ is Behavioral acceptance, type Ⅱ is Friendly acceptance, and type Ⅲ is Deflective acceptance. Conclusions: This findings can be used as a basis for the design of a differentiated multicultural education according to each type of acceptance styles. This calls for diverse research on multicultural acceptance and the implementation of effective multicultural acceptance education.

        대학생의 세계시민성에 대한 태도

        Purpose: This study obtained basic data for an intervention that could enhance global citizenship by identifying the global citizenship attitudes of university students through the Q method. Methods: Thirty-eight statements were generated as the final Q sample, and 31 students were selected as the P sample. Q sorting yielded a systematic forced distribution of 38 Q samples ordered on a scale of 1-9. The collected data were analyzed using the PC-QUANL program by principle component analysis. Results: The factor analyses revealed three types of attitudes that together accounted for 50.62% of the variance: Type 1 is “Practice-oriented type (30.64%)”; Type 2 is “Bystander type (12.96%)”; Type 3 is “Value-respecting type (7.02%)”. Conclusion: Because students will be members of the future society, they effectively promote knowledge, skills, and attitudes related to global citizenship, cultivate analytical skills for the global situation, and apply interventions to strengthen practical behavior as global citizens. Further study needs to develop and apply differentiated educational programs according to the type of global citizenship attitudes of students.

        기독교 간호 대학생들의 죽음에 대한 인식

        본 연구는 기독교 간호 대학생들의 죽음에 대한 인식을 파악하기 위해 Q-방법론을 적용한 연구이다. 연구대상은 B 대학교에재학 중인 기독교 간호 대학생 27명을 편의표집하였으며 Q-표본의 분포도는 9 척도로 대상자에게 Q-진술문을 읽게 한 후 우선긍정적으로 느끼는 진술문은 오른쪽에, 반대하는 진술문은 왼쪽에, 중립적인 진술문은 가운데로 분류하게 하였다. 수집된 자료는PC-QUANL 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였으며 그 결과 3개의 유형으로 분류되었다. 3개 요인의 전체 변량은 58.4%이며, 각 요인별 설명력은 제 1요인 44.0%, 제 2요인 8.3%, 제 3요인 6.0%로 나타났다. 제1유형은 ‘내세인정형’으로 영혼은 죽지 않고 사후세계가 존재하며 죽음은 편안함을 준다고 믿었다. 제2유형은 ‘죽음준비형’으로 죽음은 살아있는 동안에 미리 준비해야 한다고 주장하였으며 제3유형은 ‘운명수용형’으로 죽음은 거부하고 싶지만 받아들일 수밖에 없는 숙명적인 것이다라고 주장하였다. 결론적으로기독교 간호 대학생의 죽음에 대한 주관성의 구조와 그 의미를 반영한 유형에 따라 차별화된 적절한 임종간호의 교육과정 프로그램의 개발이 필요하다. The purpose of this study was to identify the subjectivity of the perceptions toward death among the christian nursing college students. Q methodology was used since it integrates the use of quantitative and qualitative methods. A 27 convenience christian nursing college students were recruited in B University. 34 selected Q-samples were classified into a normal forced distribution by using a 9-point bipolar scale. The collected data were analyzed using the pc-QUANL program. Analysis of the data provided by twenty-seven participants revealed that distinct attitudes toward death exist among the christian nursing college students. The three types explained 58.4% of the all variance: 44.0%, 8.3%, and 6.0%, respectively. Three discrete factors emerged as follows: Type I (recognized world after death; they believe that the soul does not die, there is another world after death, and death gives a feeling of calm rest.), Type II (prepared death; we have to prepare with death while we are living.), and Type III (accepted fate; we have to accept death as fate in spite of denying it.). The results of the study indicate that different approaches of death educational programs are recommended based on the three types of death attitudes.

        간호대학생의 인권의식과 다문화감수성 및 다문화효능감과의 관계

        Purpose: This study aimed to identify the correlation between the human rights awareness, multicultural sensitivity and multicultural efficacy of nursing students. Methods: A descriptive study design was used. Data were collected in March 2022 through an online survey of 266 nursing students. The data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 25.0. Results: The mean scores of human rights awareness, multicultural sensitivity and multicultural efficacy in nursing students were 3.67±0.45, 3.22±0.26, and 4.12±0.48, respectively. Human rights awareness showed a significant positive correlation between multicultural sensitivity and multicultural efficacy. Multicultural sensitivity was also positively correlated with multicultural efficacy. Conclusion: The findings of this study demonstrated a need for continuous strategies and education to enhance the multicultural efficacy of nursing students through increasing their levels of human rights awareness and multicultural sensitivity. Therefore, it is necessary to enhance the understanding of multicultural subjects and strengthen the awareness of the human rights of various nursing clients.

        간호대학생의 다문화경험과 인식 및 다문화수용성과의 관계

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the correlation between the multicultural experience, perception, and acceptance of nursing students. Methods: A descriptive study design was used. Data were collected in April 2021 through an online survey of 111 nursing students. Data were analyzed using the SPSS version 25.0. Results: The mean scores of multicultural experience, perception, and acceptance in nursing students were 3.22±0.65, 3.43±0.25, and 3.87±0.32, respectively. Multicultural experience showed significant positive correlation with multicultural perception and acceptance. Multicultural perception also positively correlated with multicultural acceptance. Conclusion: The findings of this study demonstrated a need for continuous efforts and strategies to enhance the multicultural acceptance of nursing students through increasing their levels of multicultural experience and perception. We propose a further exploratory study on a wide range of factors affecting multicultural acceptance.
