트랜스미디어 콘텐츠 관점에서 바라본 스핀오프 TV 예능의 가능성과 한계

다매체·다플랫폼 시대 위기를 맞이한 TV 예능은 그 돌파구를 스핀오프 예능에서 찾았다. 스핀오프는 기존에 인기 있는 예능의 캐릭터 인지도와 익숙한 스토리를 바탕으로 새롭게 파생된 이야기를 통해 리스크를 줄이고 비용을 절감하면서 인기를 유지하기 위한 안전지향적인 제작 방식이다. 스핀오프 예능 역시 드라마나 영화에서 주로 사용하던 스핀오프 제작 방식을 그대로 차용하였는데 최근 들어 기존 캐릭터를 활용하고 스토리에 변주를 주는 방식에서 벗어나 세계관을 구축하고, 다양한 매체를 넘나들며 새로운 캐릭터와 스토리를 만들어내고 있다. 이러한 특징은 트랜스미디어 콘텐츠의 특징과도 맞아 떨어진다. 이 연구는 미디어분기는 물론 미디어 컨버전스의 양상을 띄고 있는 최근의 스핀오프 예능의 새로운 움직임을 포착하고 그 특성을 트랜스미디어콘텐츠 관점에서 분석하였으며 이를 통해 스핀오프 예능의 가능성과 한계를 짚어보고자 한다.

트랜스미디어 콘텐츠 관점에서 바라본<프로듀스 101 시즌2> 분석

The influence of TV, which made popular music as a material of broadcasting as a material for broadcasting, began to weaken relative to the appearance of viewers’ fatigue in repeated forms and the appearance of portable devices including smartphones. Music material broadcasting was no longer new, and audience ratings continued to decline. However, the survival audition program “Produce 101 Season 2” has made great success and changed this trend. This paper argues that the success of these programs will have different characteristics from those of existing programs, and we have found the difference between active use of media and participation of viewers. We judge that these features are consistent with the characteristics of the trans-media content and try to analyze <Produce 101> from the viewpoint of the trans-media content. Among the broadcasts twice done, we selected “Produce 101 Season 2” which was successfully finished in a more evolved form as an object of analysis, and the combination of media and network represents production and consumption, the boundary between producers and recipients We tried to explore how possibilities and values are evolving and how they are evolving. However, it is a case that the program is still in the early stage because it shows the characteristics of the trans-media contents as the program progresses rather than inducing media transfer and audience participation by the detailed planning and strategy of the production staff. However, we hope that this paper will be able to overcome the limitations of the research that was done mainly in the case of foreign countries and to play a role in the follow-up study by examining the possibilities of various trans - media contents planning. 대중음악을 방송의 소재로 삼아 프로그램을 제작하던 TV는 반복되는 포맷으로인한 시청자들의 피로감과 스마트폰을 비롯한 휴대용 기기들의 등장으로 인해 그영향력이 상대적으로 약화되기 시작했다. 음악 소재 예능은 더 이상 새로울 것이없었고 시청률 하락을 거듭했다. 그러나 서바이벌 오디션 프로그램 <프로듀스 101 시즌2>는 큰 성공을 거두며 이 흐름을 바꾸어 놓았다. 본고는 이러한 프로그램의 성공에는 기존 프로그램들과는 다른 특징이 있을 것이라고 보고 그 차이점을 미디어의 적극적인 활용과 시청자들의 참여에서 찾았다. 이러한 특징은 트랜스미디어 콘텐츠가 가진 특성과도 부합된다고 판단하여 트랜스미디어 콘텐츠의 관점에서 <프로듀스 101>을 분석하고자 한다. 두 차례 진행된방송 중에서 좀 더 진화된 형태로 성공적으로 마무리된 <프로듀스 101 시즌2>를분석대상으로 선정하고 미디어와 네트워크의 결합이 생산과 소비, 제작자와 수용자의 경계를 어떻게 넘나들며 진화하고 있는지 그 가능성과 가치에 대해 탐구해보았다. 다만 제작진들의 치밀한 기획과 전략에 의한 미디어 전이와 수용자 참여 유도라기보다는 프로그램이 진행되면서 트랜스미디어 콘텐츠적인 특징이 드러난 경우이므로아직 초기단계에 머물러 있는 사례라고 볼 수 있다. 그러나 이 논문을 계기로 그동안주로 국외사례를 중심으로 행해졌던 연구의 한계를 극복하고 국내에서도 다양한트랜스미디어 콘텐츠 기획의 가능성을 짚어보면서 후속 연구의 견인역할을 할 수있기를 기대한다.

경북산 지황과 중국산 지황의 Catalpol 함량 비교

Rehmanniae Radix (Scrophulariaceae) has been traditionally used to treat hemoptysis, polydipsia, diabetes, anemia, palpitation, insomnia, and menstrual disorders. To compare the Rehmanniae Radix produced from Gyeongbuk with that of Chinese, a quantitative analysis on the major component, catalpol, was preformed by reversed-phase HPLC. Using a Luna C18(2) column, we carried out quantitative analysis with an isocratic solvent of acetonitrile and 0.1% phosphoric acid in water (2.5:97.5). Our results demonstrated that the content of catalpol in the Gyeongbuk's Rhemanniae Radix was 1.8 times higher than that of Chinese.

Scrophulariae Radix (Scrophulariaceae) has been traditionally used to treat pharyngitis, laryngitis, tonsillitis, fever,and edema. To compare the quality of the Scrophulariae Radix produced from Gyeongbuk with that from China, a quantitative analysis on the major component, E-harpagoside, was performed by reversed-phase HPLC, and a relative inhibitory activity of nitric oxide (NO) was assayed in the Raw 264.7 cells. Using a Luna C18(2) column, we carried out quantitative analysis with a gradient of 0.1% phosphoric acid in water and acetonitrile. Our results demonstrated that the content of E-harpagoside in Gyeongbuk's Scrophulariae Radix were three times higher than that of Chinese. Moreover, the inhibitory activity of Scrophulariae Radix of Gyeongbuk's in the lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced NO production was higher than that of Chinese.

This paper aims to provide a simple economic model suitable for explaining why the tragedy of the commons take place in marine living resources and for seeking how to deal with the tragedy. This economic model suggested that because of the two traits-excludability and rivalry-marine living resources has, socially optimal catch which maximizes the whole gain of participants is always less than open access catch derived from free competition between them. The discrepancy between two catches makes the stock of marine living resources fail to keep consistent and people fail to capture them sustainably. In the long run, marine living resources get extinct, which is the tragedy of the commons. This model also shows that the higher the market price of marine living resources, the more advanced technology for catching, the higher the expected price of marine living resources and the higher time preference, compared with interest rate, the faster the tragedy of the commons happens. The basic rule for policy to prevent the tragedy is to design policy so that open access catch may dovetail with social optimal catch. These policies just like total allowance catch, vessel catch limits, the issues of licences and imposition of landing fees are suggested and their effectiveness are analyzed, based upon this model.
