War crime is strictly prohibited by the International society for it‘s implementation of the policy of aggression, departing from laws and customs of war, and against the peace and security of mankind. The history of sanction against war criminals dates to very early times. However, the first sanction with a meaning of trial came out after the World War I. The trials of war criminals in Japan and Germany not only were on the basis of international law, but also supported by people around the world. The trial of war criminals, showed the efforts of people around the world of safeguard world peace and tranquility and promoted the international criminal cooperation in combating and punishing war crimes. But the trial still have some issues which are worthy of further study.
살균 및 비가열압착한 들깨오일의 영양성분 및 항산화 분석

본 연구에서는 살균 및 비가열압착한 들깨오일(superilla)을 활용하여 영양성분을 확인하고 기능성 식품으로서의 가능성을 알아보기 위해 시판되는 들기름과 비교실험을 수행하였다. 수분 함량과 pH는 CPPO에서 높았고, 구리, 코발트, 칼슘 함량은 SRPO에서 높았다. 총 비타민 E, 토코페롤, 리놀렌산 함량은 LPPO에서 더 높았다. 총 폴리페놀 함량과 ABTS 라디칼 소거활성은 SRPO에서 가장 높은 수치를 보였으며, 아질산염 소거능 측정값은 CPPO에서 가장 높았다. L 및 a 값은 CPPO에서 더 높았고 b값은 LPPO에서 더 높았다. 이상의 결과를 통해 살균 및 비가열압착한 들깨오일(SRPO)의 무기질 함량, 총 폴리페놀 함량, ABTS라디칼 소거활성 및 아질산 소거능이 있음을 확인하였다. 또한 시간이 경과할수록 SRPO는 과산화물가가 낮았고, LPPO는 산가가 유의하게 증가하였다. 따라서 본 연구를 종합해 볼 때, 살균 및 비가열압착한 들기름의 경우 기존의 방식으로 생산된 들기름과 영양소 성분이 유사하였다. 이는 새로운 들기름 제조방법을 제공하는 계기가 되었으며, 이를 통해 들기름의 상품화의 기초가 마련되었다고 판단된다. In this study, the nutritional properties of sterilized and non-heat-pressed raw perilla oil (SRPO) were studied and its potential as a functional food was evaluated. The copper, cobalt, and calcium levels were high in sterilized and SRPO. The total polyphenol content and ABTS radical scavenging activity were the highest in SRPO, whereas nitrite scavenging activity was the highest in 45℃ cold pressed perilla oil (CPPO). The above results confirmed that sterilized and non-heat-pressed perilla oil had high mineral and total polyphenol contents, as well as ABTS radical scavenging activity and nitrite scavenging ability. The peroxide value of SRPO decreased as the storage period increased, and the acid value of low-temperature pressed perilla oil over 65℃ (LPPO) significantly increased. This work also provided an opportunity to develop a new method for manufacturing perilla oil, and it is hoped that these experiments will form a basis for the commercialization of perilla oil.

본 연구에서 일반 토양에 비해 무기양분 함량이 적고 배수성이 좋지 않은 새만금간척지 토양에 식재 된 포플러수종의 생리적 특성을 조사하였다. 7월과 8월에, 이태리포플러 클론인 Venziano, L.Avanzo와 미루나무 교잡종 클론인97-18, 97-19은 생리적인 특성의 차이를 보였다. 이태리포플러 클론이 미루나무 교잡종 클론에 비해 생리적 특성이 우수하였다. 특히 Venziano 클론의 순광합성률은 각각 평균적으로 18.62 μmol CO<sub>2</sub> m<sup>-2</sup> · s<sup>-1</sup>, 17.11μmol CO<sub>2</sub> m<sup>-2</sup> · s<sup>-1</sup>로 다른 클론들과 비교해서 높은 수치를 보였다. 반면, 미루나무 교잡종인 97-18클론의 7월 광색소 함량은 2.37 mg · g<sup>-1</sup>FW으로 가장 높은 수치를 보였으나, 8월에는 이태리포플러 클론보다 낮은 함량을 보였다. 미루나무 교잡종은 8월에 순광합성률, 광색소함량 등 전반적인 생리적 활성이 떨어졌다. 결론적으로, 새만금간척지에 식재된 포플러 묘목의 생리적인 특성은 이태리포플러 종인 Venziano 클론이 우수하였다. This research aims to study the physiological characteristics of poplar clones in Saemanguem reclaimed land where has lower minerals and bad drainage than those in paddy field. In July and August, different poplar clones including Populus euramericana clone (Venziano and L.Avanzo) and deltoides hybrid clone (97-18 and 97-19) showed different physiological characteristics. Physiological characteristics of P. euramericana clones were better than those of P. deltoides hybrid clones. Especially, the average net photosynthetic rate (A<sub>net</sub>) of clone Venziano were 18.62 μmol CO<sub>2</sub> m<sup>-2</sup> · s<sup>-1</sup> and 17.11μmol CO<sub>2</sub> m<sup>-2</sup> · s<sup>-1</sup>, respectively. Those were the highest numerical values among other poplar clones. On the other, the total chlorophyll and carotenoid contents of P. deltoides hybrid clones were higher than those of P. euramericana clones in July. Particularly, the total chlorophyll content of clone 97-18 was 2.37 mg · g<sup>-1</sup>FW. In August, those of P. deltoides hybrid clones decreased than in July. In term of the physiological activity such as net photosynthetic rate and stomatal conductance of P. deltoides hybrid clones were much lower in August than in July. As a result, physiological characteristics of P. euramericana Venziano clone was superior than the other clones in Short rotation coppice (SRC) in Saemanguem area.
The Relationship Between SO2 Exposure and Plant Physiology: A Mini Review

Air pollutants are emitted from various sources into the atmosphere. During winter, greenhouses are heatedby the burning of fuel in heating systems, which creates sulfur dioxide (SO2) that can be detrimental to plant growthand human health. However, there is a poor understanding of the comprehensive effects of SO2 on crops in agreenhouse environment. Therefore, this review aimed to summarize the impacts of greenhouse heating system-derivedSO2 on the physiological, morphological, and biochemical responses of plants. In general, plant SO2 exposure has anegative effect on these processes. An initial decline in physiological activities appears several days following SO2exposure. Morphological and biochemical activities are also negatively affected by extensive SO2 exposure. However,since sulfur is an essential nutrient for plant growth, low-level SO2 exposure has a positive impact on plants. AtmosphericSO2 is taken up by the plant via the stomata, after which it is assimilated and used to synthesize sulfur-containingamino acids, such as methionine and cysteine. Sulfur-containing compounds are crucial for plant growth, and variousphysiological and biochemical processes. It was concluded that SO2 is a significant greenhouse pollutant, especiallyfor crops.
