        표본(標本)·근결(根結) 이론과 임상응용에 관한 고찰(考察)

        PyoBon GeunGyul - one of the twelve regular meridians theory - play a important role on the principle of point selection and point prescription in acumoxibustion. PyoBon explain the connection of the concentration and diffusion of channel qi, GeunGyul explain the relation of both poles of channels flow. So, Geun and Bon means the starting point of channel qi, and Pyo and Gyul means the terminal point of channel qi. But the flow of channel qi on PyoBon GeunGyul different from today's circulation courses of twelve regular channels based on Kyungmaek(經脈) chapter of Youngchu. Thus this study investigate the contents of PyoBon GeunGyul and consider its connection with channel flow. The results are as follows : 1. PyoBon GeunGyul theory explain that the relation of the limbs and trunk at meridian and emphasize that the connection of meridian and the importance of the limb acupoints. 2. PyoBon GeunGyul theory can be understandable in the view of the primordial qi and explain that the primordial qi of twelve regular channels acts from the limbs to the trunk. 3. PyoBon GeunGyul theory is based on the system of primordial qi channel which circulates from fingers and toes facing toward heart or the head, different from today's circulation courses of twelve regular meridians. 4. PyoBon GeunGyul theory act as a basis of principle of a part or distant point selection which applicated widely in acumoxibustion.

        Haddad 증후군 환아의 외래 전신마취 하 치과 치료

        The co-occurrence of congenital central hypoventilation syndrome (CCHS) and Hirschsprung's disease (HD) is termed Haddad syndrome, which is an extremely rare discorder. It was reported first by Haddad in 1978 and there are approximately 60 cases reported in the worldwide literature. Recent studies described that congenital central hypoventilation syndrome had deep relation to the mutation of the PHOX2B gene in its diagnosis and phenotype. This article presents a case report: Dental treatment of a 3-year-old male patient with Haddad syndrome under outpatient general anesthesia. The special considerations of dental care, especially caries theatment of the patient with Haddad syndrome are discussed.

        발과 무릎관절 위치가 편마비 환자의 안쪽넓은근과 가쪽넓은근 근활성도에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the electromyographic (EMG) activity of vastus medialis oblique (VMO) and vastus lateralis (VL) muscles on foot position and knee angle for hemiplegia patients. Methods: Ten stroke subjects (10 males) participated in the study. Subjects were all right-hemiplegic patients. All subjects did $0^{\circ},\;20^{\circ}$ and $40^{\circ}$ knee flexion while maintaining the foot in a neutral position, or at $30^{\circ}$ adduction or at $30^{\circ}$ abduction. Surface EMG data were collected for VMO and VL muscles on the non-hemiplegic side and hemiplegic side. Collected data were analyzed using two-way ANOVA. Results: VMO and VL activities for the non-hemiplegic and the hemiplegic sides were highest for $40^{\circ}$ knee flexion while maintaining the three foot positions. There were no significant differences in EMG activity of the VMO and VL muscles with different foot positions. There were significant differences between VMO and VL activity for knee flexion angle while maintaining the foot in neutral (p<0.05), at $30^{\circ}$ adduction (p<0.05), or at $30^{\circ}$ abduction (p<0.05). Conclusion: Foot position does not influence VMO and VL activities. But, knee flexion exercise in a closed chain can increase VMO and VL muscle activity for hemiplegic patients. In particular, VMO and VL activities for both the non-hemi side and the hemi side were highest for $40^{\circ}$ knee flexion.

        이침 요법이 맥박의 변화에 미치는 영향

        Objective : Auricular acupuncture is a method of treatment that involves needling the ear in order to produce relief of symptoms. This concept was first developed by P.Nogier, french doctor and referred to as somatotopic representation. Many authors have commented the fact that the vagus nerve supplies the external auditory and the concha. The aim of this randomised, single blind study was to investigate whether auricular acupuncture of the ear produced changes in the pulse rate, an indicator of vagal tone. Methods: 10 healthy man volunteers were divided into normal and epinephrine stimulation group. Then each group was divided into vagus area acupuncture and control area acupuncture group again. Epinephrine stimulation group was injected by epinephrine 0.3cc twice, first. All of them were needled in either the vagus area or control area of the ear, and pulse rate changes were measured by patient monitor over 1 hour. Results : In the epinephrine stimulation group, there was significant differences in the pulse rate change between vagus area acupuncture and control area acupuncture group. After injection of epinephrine, the basal pulse rate was increased 1.3~1.4 times in the control group. However, in the vagus area acupuncture group the basal pulse rate was increased only 1.1~1.2 times.

        The intended system's function and performance can be assured through implementing the development process, the verification compliance against corresponding requirements, in accordance with the fundamental principle from the Systems Engineering. For the effective verification implementation, related core metadata should be selected and managed throughout the development life cycle. And these have to be included in the configuration document such as specification so that taking them as development baselines each phases if necessary. In this paper, associated case study results are introduced to establish the Requirements Verification Matrix (RVM) for the verification management on the space launch vehicle development program.

        Functional stability is dependent on integrated local and global muscle function. Movement dysfunction can present as a local and global problem, though both frequently occur together. To good understand how movement induces pain syndrome, the optimal actions and interaction of the multiple anatomic and functional systems involved in motion must be considered. Minor alterations in the precision of movement cause microtrauma and, if allowed to continue, will cause macrotrauma and pain. These alteration of the movement result in the development of compensatory movement and movement impairment. Muscle that become tight tend to pull the body segment to which they are attached, creating postural deviation. The antagonistic muscles may become weak and allow postural deviations due to lack of balanced support. Both hypertonic and inhibited muscles will cause an alteration of the distribution of pressure over the joint(s) that they cross and, thus, may not only result from muscle dysfunction, but produce joint dysfunction as well. Alteration of the shoulder posture and movement dysfunction may sometimes result in compression of neurovascular structures in the shoulder and arm. There is a clear link between reduced proprioceptive input, altered motor unit recruitment and the neurovascular compression. This report start with understanding of the impaired alignment, movement patterns and neuromuscular compression of the shoulder girdle by movement impairment to approach method of the movement dysfunction.

        시스템엔지니어링 전산관리도구를 활용한 우주발사체 기술완성도(TRL) 관리

        The KSLV-II project with high difficulties technically requires thorough technical management during long-term life cycle more than 10 years for launching into space. The TRL is a quantitative indicator developed by NASA widely used all over the world to measure technology maturity of a system development objectively and consistently. The TRL is also used to make sure technology level and to establish a future direction in the KSLV-II project. The TRL has advantage enable to identify a technology level through quantitative indicators. However, it takes a lot of efforts such as trials and errors, time and cost to apply it to the project considering the project environments, and stakeholder needs. These include not only to establish TRL management plan from ideal, conceptual and abstractive standards/guidelines such as NASA's, but also to construct TRL management environment enable to apply and manage harmoniously. In the KSLV-II project, it is required to figure out current technology level and technology development trend in the future, to access conveniently, to share related data in real time, and to update periodically for the comprehensive TRL management. From the reason above, the TRL management environment was built by using the systems engineering tool already has been used for other system management data such as requirements in the project. It also could be accomplished a practical management basis of systems engineering from the traceability among system management data including TRL. In this paper, case study results are introduced to manage the TRL for the space launch vehicle using the systems engineering tool in the KSLV-II project.

        슬관절(膝關節)의 퇴행성 관절염에 대한 고찰

        Osteoarthritis(degenerative joint disease), the most common arthropathy affecting the aged people, is characterized by degeneration of articular cartilage with proliferation and remodeling of subchondral bone. Osteoarthritis of the knee, which probably has greater social cost and more associated disability than osteoarthritis of any other joint, prevalence is known to increase with age, and females have higher rates than males; radiographic abnormalities are present in more than 30% of persons more than 65 years old, with approximately 40% of these persons symptomatic. Though the etiology of osteoarthritis is not entirely understood, much information is available regarding risk factors for the development of knee osteoarthritis that permit some reasonable guideline for preventive strategies. Traumatic damage or occupational or recreational overuse of knee joint may result in osteoarthritis, and obesity also is related to osteoarthritis of the knee. A variety of other possible risk factors for the development of knee osteoarthritis have been proposed, including increased bone mass, smoking, diseases such as diabetes or elevated serum uric acid, and some metabolic factors, but the contribustions of these and other factors such as smoking or race and diseases such as diabetes are as yet undetermined. The usual clinical manifestations include pain, stiffnesss, crepitus and loss of function. In oriental medicine, osteoarthritis of the knee is very similar to diseases such as Bijung(痺症), Haksulpung(鶴膝風), Youkjeolpung(歷節風) in symptoms. The diseases such as Bijung(痺症), Haksuipung(鶴膝風), Youkjeolpung(歷節風) is related to the of function liver(肝) and kidney(腎) and risk factors are regarded as Pung(風), Han(寒), sub(濕). The diagnosis of osteoarthritis of the knee has often been based on radiographic appearance and clinical manifestations. The acupuncture therapy of osteoarthritis of the knee has often been based on Stomach meridian(ST), Spleen meridian(SP), Kidney meridian(KI), Liver meridian(LR).

        항통 및 요배통 환자에서 세라젬 마스터 온열치료기의 효과

        Purpose : Posterior Neck Pain and Back Pain are common diseases in human daily life. For reducting symptom and treatment of these diseases, many methods have been used and studied until now. The mechanisms of Ceragem Master Heat Bed(R)(Ceragem Co. Seoul, Korea) are infrared-heat therapy from natural nephrite and pressure therapy by up-down movement of natural nephrite ball. Through this study, authors would evaluate the clinical effectiveness of Ceragem Master Heat Bed(CMHB) on relieving posterior neck pain and back pain. Materials and methods : From 12-01-2000 to 01-13-2001, posterior neck pain and back pain patients were selected for experiment group(23patients) and control group(14patients). In both group, Visual Analog Scale(VAS) of pre-treatment stage is above 5 points. Experiment group were cared with acupuncture therapy, buhang therapy and CMHB. Control group were managed with only acupuncture therapy and buhang therapy. They were treated more than three times at least. At pre-treatment and post-treatment stage, we measured VAS for individual patients, and then compared effect of treatment in experiment group and in control group. Statistical analysis was preformed using SAS program. Results : In this study, a mean difference of VAS between pre-treatment and post-treatment stage was large in experiment(CMHB) group more than in control group(p〈0.01). Conclusion : Experiment(CMHB) group was more effective pain relief than control group in the treatment of posterior neck pain and back pain. CMHB was available for stimultaneous application of heat therapy and pressure massage together that gave another effects of mental stability and fatigue recovery. As the results of this study, CMHB could be used as a helpful treatment modality for posterior neck pain and back pain.

        도메인이름 紛爭에 관한 國際栽判管轄

        In Korean law, there are only scant statutory sources on personal jurisdiction in civil and commercial disputes. In this background, article 2 of the Korean Private International Law delineates the method of finding or developing law in this area. According to article 2, courts should try to fill this gap by analogy from the venue provisions consisting of territorial standards, while considering the different implications of intemational jurisdiction as opposed to internal venue so as to differentiate rules of jurisdiction from rules of venue, Article 2 requires the courts to clarify the bases of jurisdiction, basically in terms of territorial contacts, and in exceplional cases in terms of a mixture of territorial contacts and policy reasons, Notably, it will not be meaningful to reiterate the language of article 2 without clarifying jurisdictional standards in terms of territorial contacts. Such court practice will fail to produce a set of clear and predictable legal standards and also fail to meet the legislative intent behind article 2. Since the amendment of Korean Private International Law in 2001, there has been a clear tendency in several umpublished lower court cases that compies with such demand as expressed in article 2. According to these judgments, lower courts tend to look for concrete criteria of special jurisdiction in terms of territorial contacts between the dispute and the forum. In the process of such judicial lawmaking the courts will in most cases ask what type of legal relationship is in dispute and which territorial contacts should be the key factor in cach type of case. In this regard, it is surprising to note that the Korean Supreme Court, in its hpweb.com decision in 2005, pursued and opposite way, Literally understood, this precedent requires the courts to focus on the location of evidences, instead of trying to localize the case. If the forum is the locus of most of the evidences on the merits, the court shall have jurisdiction unless there are extraordinary circumstances that shall lead the court to deny its jurisdiction. In this viewpoint, the hpweb.com judgment presents a général theory of personal jurisdiction which seriously underestimates the need of clear and predictable criteria of jurisdiction. This jurisprudence is out of line with the mainstream case law of the Korean Supreme Court that has developed so far. It is submitted that the preoedential value of this judgment should be narrowly construed so as to be confined to the specific facts of the case. The domain name can be a subject of two kinds of disputes, namely infringement of a trademark or another right committed by use of a domain name, and infringement of a right to own a domain name. If the court has special jurisdiction over either one of them, the court will also have jurisdiction over the traditional framework is not without a problem. First, the place of tort jurisdiction should be guarded against overextension. This jurisdictional basis may become more problematic when combined with jurisdiction over a related claim, which increases the importance of narrowing the place of tort concept. On the other hand, a problem is created if the tortfeasor files a lawsuit for a negative declaration of his own tortious liability at the place of tortious act at his choice, because it effectively defeat the policy of preference for the victim. The lower court judgments have tried to manage this problem by imposing purposeful availment standard as borrowed from Justice O Connor s plurality in Asahi Metal Industry Co. v. Superior Court, 480 U.S. 102, 115, 107 S.Ct. 1026, 1034. These precedents reason that jurisdiction may be asserted in the place of tortious result, only if the defendant has purposefully availed the privilèges or benefits of the legal system in that place by way of specific positive activity within or targeted at that place.
