The purpose of this experimental study examine the structural performance of RC columns reinforced with CFS and FGRTP, a kind of high strength fiber. This experimental study have two parameters of the way confined (carbon fiber sheets, fiber glass reinforced thin plate) and steel ratio(1.57%, 3.08%, 5.09%,). The CFS can be made very thin, resulting in flexibility sufficient for them to be wrapped around circular as well as rectangular columns. As well as ductility of column strengthened with sheet also increase from the confinement effect by FGRTP. While non-FGRTP later confinement specimens appeared sudden failure after shell concrete was tom off, specimens confined laterally with FGRTP were showed that their failure, flexibility and strength enhancement. The objective of experimental study is to evaluate the strengthening effects of concrete compression confined with carbon fiber sheets and FGRTP(Fiber Glass Reinforced Thin Plate).

The purpose of this experimental study is to evaluate the strength characteristics and strengthening effects of reinforced concrete column confined with carbon fiber sheets. The main variables in this test are concrete strength and pre-loading. In the test, a total of twelve specimens have a 1.5, 3, 5 reinforcement ratio, which were concentrically loaded, have been used. While the non-confinement specimens with carbon fiber sheets were appeared sudden failure after shell-concrete was tom off, strength enhancement was showed on the specimens confined laterally with carbon fiber sheets.

One of the powerful fabricating methods of organic ultra-thin film is Langmuir Blodgett(LB) Technique, which deposits a monolayer film in molecular level on the surface of the substrate. In this paper, it was investigated the electrical characteristics of Arachidic acid, Stearic acid and Myristic acid LB films for horizontal direction to develop the gas sensor. The status of the deposited film deposition were obtained by measurement of π-A isotherm. The status of the deposited film was confirmed by measurement of UV absorbance. The difference of I-V characteristics in regards to the LB films of the long-chain fatty acid for the horizontal direction was distinguished. The electrical conductivity of fatty acid LB films for horizontal direction was approximately 10-7∼10-9〔S/㎝〕order
「Parametric power Transformer」의 作動特性에 관한 硏究[Ⅰ]

In this paper, the principle of operations of parametric power Transformers is derived from a non-linear second-order differential equation with periodic coefficient of the Hill's-Mathieu's type. In developing the theory, attention is focused on the Secondary inductance as the variable circuit parameter responsible for the oscillations. And the condition for parametric excitation, 2 m>----- is established. Q? Also, in order to calculate the maximum resistive load which the transformer can carry, the formuler is obtained as, R=1±(1-4K?/a?)?/2wC(K/a). In addition, this device can be used as a static frequency doubler.

This study is to improve the physiological and social enviornment from the visual and mental oppressive feeling, sunshine and viewing of many-storied apartment houses, gets the degree and area of sun shadow to evaluate the sunshine environment with L.D apartment complex at Sangmu New Downtown, Kwangju, analyzes the sunshine enviornment of the areas, analyzes the visual obstacle according to the length and depth of apartment building by calculating the visual angle of each building and then the following results are obtained. (1) The area of sun shadow of many-storied apartment house is greatly influenced by the length, height and depth of apartment and although the pitch of building is appropriate within the distance regulated by Construction Law, the sunshine enviornment is not always good and the building should be arranged not to produce multiple sun shadows. (2) Since the pitch of building for securing the right to sunshine has the permanent sun shadow in low story of the building due to the multiple sun shadow of the adjacent buildings, it is desirable that the right to sunshine is secured by the regulation ofazimuth angle and the consideration of the right to sunshine. (3) The current Construction Law regulates that all residences should have the height less than that of securing the continous duration of sunshine over fixed hours between 09:00 and 15:00 based on winter solstice prescribed by each local construction regulations, but the development and application of evaluation methods for the security of sunshine are required by considering the azimuth angle and altitude of the sun and the whole amount of sunshine of each area. (4) As a result of analyzing the visual obstacle according to the depth and length of apartment building by obtaining the visual angle of each building, the depth of apartment building is 10~12M, the depth of the building : the length of the building is calculated as 1:5 in obtaining the visual obstacle angle within the maximum 27˚ on the axis of the line connecting the center of building and then the appropirate length of the building is 50~60M.

The objective of experimental study is to evaluate the strengthening effects of concrete compression confined with Fiber Glass Reinforced Thin Plate. The model consist of a parabolic ascending band, followed by a linear descending segment. Ductility of column strengthened with sheet also increase from the confinement effect by FGRTP. While non-FGRTP later confinement specimens appeared sudden failure after shell concrete was torn off, specimens confined laterally with FGRTP were showed that their failure, flexibility and strength enhancement.
