An unmanned aircraft refers to an aircraft which carries no human pilot and is operated under remote control or in autonomous operational mode. An unmanned aircraft system consist of a one system which include UAV(s), UAV control station and data link, etc. As the UAVs can perform the dull, dangerous and difficult missions, various kinds of UAVs with different sizes and weights have been developed and operated for both civil and military areas. It is important to develop the airworthiness certification criteria of the UAVs to minimize the risks of fatal impacts on human life and environment and to achieve the equivalent level of safety to the manned aircraft. Analysis of the KAS Part 23 and STANAG 4671 can provide guidelines for the generation of the airworthiness certification criteria for the UAVs in civil application.

Unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs) refer to the aircraft which carries no human pilot and is operated under remote control or in autonomous operational mode. As the UAVs can perform the dull, dangerous and difficult missions, various kinds of UAVs with different sizes and weights have been developed and operated for both civil and military application. As the avionics and communication technology related to the UAVs are matured, the demand for the UAVs is dramatically increased. Therefore, It is important to develope airworthiness process and regulations of the UAVs to minimize related risk to the man and environment. This paper describes related regulations and classification of the small UAVs for different international airworthiness authorities. The analysis of the CS-LURS verses Stanag 4702 and Stanag 4703 can provide guidelines for the generation of the airworthiness certification criteria for the small UAVs in civil sector. This paper conducted kinetic impact energy analysis of the loss of the small UAVs control scenarios and of the very small UAVs under 66 joules. Based on the analysis, the energy impact analysis can be considered before the design certification approval for the small UAVs.

Aircraft diagnostic systems identify system failures and nip aircraft accidents in the bud by removing hazards that hinder Safety Of Flight (SOF). The necessity for diagnostic systems is increasing as aircraft manufacturing technology is modernized. Many countries have conducted studies and developed diagnostic systems. However, studies about diagnostic systems are very few in Korea. This study defines the scope of aircraft diagnostics systems and closely considers methods to ensure the Safety Of Flight (SOF) for military aircraft. 항공기 진단계통은 항공기 각 계통의 고장을 식별 및 탐지하고, 비행안전을 저해시키는 위험요소를제거 및 개선함으로 사고를 미연에 방지하기 위한 계통이다. 해당 계통은 항공기 제작기술이 첨단화 될수록 필요성이 커지고 있다. 또한 여러 항공선진국에서는 진단계통에 대한 다양한 연구와 개발이 진행되고 있으나, 국내에서는 아직 진단계통에 대한 연구 및 응용 실적이 매우 적은편이다. 본 논문에서는항공기 진단계통의 정의와 범위를 제안하고, 군용항공기 비행안전성 확보를 위한 접근방법을 고찰해 보고자 한다.
MIL-HDBK-516C 적용에 따른 항공기 진단계통 감항성 충족 연구

항공기 진단계통에 대한 연구 및 개발은 1980년대부터 다양한 형태로 발전되어 왔으며, 각 국가의 연구기관들은 항공기 진단 시스템 및 프로그램을 통해 우수한 성과를 나타내고 있다. 또한 진단계통은 미공군 군용항공기 감항인증기준(MIL-HDBK-516C)에 포함되어 항공기 설계 및 시험 단계까지 적용되었다고 할 수 있다. 반면에 해당기준의 요구도를 충족시켜 형식인증을 획득한 사례는 찾아볼 수 없다. 본 논문에서는 MIL-HDBK-516C를 바탕으로 국내실정에 맞도록 제 · 개정된 군용항공기 표준감항인증기준 10장 진단계통을 상세적으로 분석하여 효율적으로 감항성을 충족할 수 있는 방안을 제시하고자 한다.
A Case of Solitary Fibrous Tumor of the Nasal Cavity

he pleura in 1931. Recently, SFT has been reported in various locations with no relation to serosal surface, such as the mediastinum,head and neck, orbit and urogenital system. Histopathologically, the tumors have a disorganized or “patternless”arrangement of spindle cells in a collagenous background and prominent vascular channels of varing size. To date, only 22cases of SFT arising from the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses have been reported in the world literature. We report a caseof SFT localized in the right nasal cavity with extension to the right ethmoid sinus with a review of literature.
