‘역사’를 재현하는 한 방식 : 아프리카 여성의 목소리 - 치마만다 은고지 아디치에의 『태양은 노랗게 타오른다』(2006)를 중심으로

아디치에는 지적이면서도 감각적인 문체, 진중하고 날카로운 역사의식, 유연하면서도 명징한 내면 묘사 등을 통해 아프리카의 현실에 대한 새로운 문제의식을 제기하고 있는 3세대 나이지리아 작가이다. 그녀는 아프리카의 역사와 현실에 대한 기존의 관점을 비판적으로 성찰하면서 새로운 여성 서사의 가능성을 타진하고 있다. 본고에서는 서사에 대한 자의식을 바탕으로 독특한 아프리카 여성의 목소리를 창조하고 있는 아디치에의 대표작 『태양은 노랗게 타오른다』를 고찰하고자 한다. 이 작품은 격변의 나이지리아 현대사, 특히 비아프라 전쟁을 배경으로 삼고 있는 작품이다. 아디치에는 이 작품에서 예술성(소설)과 시대정신(역사)을 동시에 견지하려는 노력을 바탕으로, 역사의 영혼을 담을 수 있는 형식을 탐색하고 있다. 아디치에는 비선형적 서사 구조, 소설 속 또 다른 책의 삽입, 남성 중심 화자의 목소리와 이와 대화적 관계를 형성하는 여성적 목소리 등 다양한 서사적 장치를 활용하여 나이지리아의 역사를 입체적으로 재현하고 있다. 특히, 비아프라 전쟁을 이보족의 독립전쟁으로 바라보는 기존의 관점을 비판적으로 성찰함과 동시에 이 전쟁을 부당한 억압에 맞선 인간해방 전쟁으로 확장시키고 있다는 점은 주목할 만하다. 따뜻한 감성과 날카로운 지성을 겸비한 아디치에 특유의 여성적 목소리는 비서구와 서구, 전통과 근대, 흑과 백, 여성과 남성, 역사와 문학 등의 경계를 가로지르며 새로운 영역을 개척하고 있다. 이 목소리의 발화자는 ‘타자’를 대상화하는 서구중심의 남성적 주체는 물론, 물구나무선 아프리카적 주체까지 끌어안고 앞으로 나아가는, 소통과 화해, 그리고 회복을 염원하는 치유자에 가깝다. Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie is a third-generation Nigerian novelist. She uses an intelligent and sensual style, a sharp sense of history, and a clear inner description. Through this, she is capturing the reality of Africa anew. She is critically reflecting on existing views on African history and reality. This is the possibility of a new female narrative. In this article, I would like to consider Adichie’s work, Half of a Yellow Sun. I note that it is creating a unique African woman’s voice based on self-consciousness about the narrative. This work is set in Nigeria’s modern history, especially the Biafra War. Adichie places equal weight on fiction and history. She is exploring a way to capture the soul of history. Adichie uses various narrative devices to vividly reproduce Nigeria’s history and reality. She utilizes the nonlinear narrative structure, the insertion of another book in the novel, and the male-centered speaker’s voice and the feminine voice that forms a conversational relationship with it. In particular, she is reflecting on the existing view of the Biafra War as the Ibo War of Independence. Furthermore, she is expanding this war into a human liberation war against unjust repression. Adichie’s unique feminine voice is pioneering new territory across the boundaries of non-Western and Western, traditional and modern, black and white, women and men, history and literature. The speaker of this voice is more of a healer who hopes for communication, reconciliation, and recovery that embraces both Western-centered and African subjects at the same time.

토픽 모델링 기법을 활용한 국회의 대정부 견제 기능 분석: 17-18대 국무총리 인사청문회 회의록을 중심으로

본 연구는 자동화된 텍스트 분석 기법을 통해 대한민국의 정부-국회 관계를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 잠재 디리쉴레 할당(Latent Dirichlet Allocation, LDA) 모형을 활용하여 17-18대 국회의 국무총리 총 6인의 인사청문회 회의록을 분석하였다. 분석 결과 정부-국회 관계는 입법부와 행정부 간 상호 견제를 수행하는 관계가 아닌 여당-야당 간의 정당 간 대립 구도를 형성하고 있음이 나타났다. 본 연구는 선행연구를 바탕으로 국회 인사청문회 발언이 후보자 자격 비판, 현 정부 기능 비판, 현 정부 정책 비판, 의사진행 발언으로 나뉘어지는지 분석하였다. 각 정당별로 특징적으로 나타나는 잠재적 토픽을 포착한 분석결과는 국회 인사청문회가 국회-행정부 견제 양식으로 나타나기보다는 후보자 및 현 정부를 대상으로 야당의 공격과 여당의 반격이라는 여야 대립 양식으로 나타난다는 기존 연구들의 주장을 재검증하였다. 이러한 경향은 여당과 제1야당에서 가장 뚜렷하게 나타났다. 또한, 군소정당은 인사청문회를 정당이 드러내고자 하는 정책이슈를 드러내는 기회로 삼기도 했다. 본 연구는 국회 인사청문회에 대한 이해를 확장시키는 한편, 자동화된 텍스트 분석방식을 활용한 국회 회의록 연구방법에 기여할 것으로 기대된다. This study analyzed the relationship between the National Assembly and the government of South Korea. In detail, we utilized the Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) model to analyze the meeting minutes of 6 Prime Ministers’ confirmation hearings during the 17th and 18th National Assembly. Our result suggests that the relationship is shaped by the inter-party conflicts rather than the check-and-balance system between the legislative and executive bodies. While the previous studies through content analysis have pointed to the similar findings, we aimed to enhance their credibility by using automated text analysis that is comparatively free from subjective intervention by researchers. We suggest that automated text analysis is an attractive option to be adopted in the future research that studies the relationship between the legislative and executive bodies or analyzes the meeting minutes of the National Assembly for other academic purposes.

탈북자 단편소설에 나타난 분단 현실 연구

In this paper, we analyzed short stories of defectors. It is to broaden the understanding of defectors and to confirm the novelty of refugee literature. North Korean refugee literature did not show much difference from memoirs at the beginning. However, in recent years, various materials have shown various perceptions. I would like to discuss only short novels that reflect the division reality of Korean peninsula, North Korea, third countries (China /Ethiopia), South Korea, etc. This paper analyzed the short stories of North Korean defectors and cautioned their attitudes toward tying their lives to the South Korean perspective. In addition, the life of the defectors did not absolutely make it to that of the subaltern trapped in the trauma. Rather, they noticed that through their short stories, they were gradually expressing their voices. North Korean defectors' short stories show various aspects of everyday North Korean reality or North Korean defectors who have entered South Korea. These works have aesthetic characteristics of a short novel exploring the meaning of life through a certain section of life. The short story of defectors recalls the experience of North Korean defectors through 'North Korea→Third country→South Korea' and gives them the value of it, and recalls each space as a place of deepened awareness of reality. These works show the beginning of new division recognition through these three spaces. 본고에서는 탈북자에 대한 이해를 넓히고 탈북자 문학의 새로움을 확인하기 위해 그들이 쓴 최근의 단편소설을 분석하였다. 탈북자 문학은 초기에는 기존의 수기 류의 텍스트가 보여주는 평면적 현실인식에서 크게 벗어나지 못했다. 하지만 최근에는 점점 다양한 소재로 그들만의 독특한 현실인식을 보여주고 있다. 본고에서는 탈북자 단편소설을 북한에서의 삶, 제3국에서의 경험, 남한 사람과의 소통 등 세 범주로 나누어 분석하였다. 이들 작품들은 북한, 제3국(중국/에티오피아), 남한 등에서의 삶을 그들만의 목소리로 형상화함으로써 한반도의 분단현실을 새로운 시각으로 조망하고 있다. 이러한 작품들을 분석하되 남한의 시각으로 그들의 삶을 타자화하는 태도를 경계하고자 했다. 더불어 탈북자의 삶을 트라우마에 갇힌 서발턴의 그것으로 절대화하지도 않았다. 오히려 단편 소설들을 통해 그들이 서서히 자신들의 목소리를 내고 있음에 주목하였다. 탈북자 소설 중 단편소설들은 기존의 수기 류의 작품들이 보여주던 것과 달리, 구체적이고 일상적인 북한의 현실을 통해 남한에 살고 있는 탈북자들의 현재적 삶을 조망하고 있거나, 복합적이고 다층적인 제3국에서의 삶을 통해 한반도의 분단 현실을 심도 있게 형상화하고 있다. 또한 탈북자와 남한 사람들의 소통을 서사의 전면에 배치하여 서로의 아픔을 깊이 공감함으로써 남한에 입국한 탈북자들의 다양한 삶의 스펙트럼을 제시하고 있다. 이들 작품들은 삶의 특정한 단면을 통해 인생의 의미를 탐구하는 단편소설의 미학적 특성을 견지하며, 일정한 문학적 성취를 보여준다. 또한 탈북자들의 현재적 삶에 대한 이해를 높이고 남북의 사람들이 함께 살아갈 통합의 삶을 예견하는 데 일조하고 있다.

스마트 교육을 위한 디지털 방송 적용에 관한 연구 - 인문교양 중심으로

스마트 기기 사용의 증가는 많은 사회적 변화를 가져왔다. 특히 교육에서는 보다 높은 학습효과를 위하여 스 마트 기기 적용을 연구하여 왔다. 그러나 인문교양은 전통적인 교육 패턴 뿐만 아니라 과목이 가지는 특성 때문에 정 보통신에 적용하기가 매우 어려운 분야였다. 본 연구에서는 인문교양 과목을 디지털 방송에 적용하고 그 효과를 증대 시키기 위한 방안을 제시하려 한다. 이를 위하여 인문교양의 스마트 콘텐츠 제작 및 연계 방안을 제시하고, 그 실효성 을 위하여 디지털 방송에 적용하는 방안에 대한 설문을 통해 적용 가능성을 제시하고자 한다. Using and increasing the smart devices got many changes for social environment. Especially, many researchers have studied application using smart devices for improving the learning performance in education. However, Liberal Arts of Humanities has very difficult to apply to information and communication technology cause of traditional study pattern and unit characteristic. In this paper, we suggest a method to apply the Liberal Arts of Humanities to digital broadcasting and to improve learning performance. For this study, we propose a method to making smart contents and connecting them for Liberal Arts of Humanities. And also, we propose a method for applying them to digital broadcasting in order to proof the learning performance increasing by questionary, and shows the application possibility.
