The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze the flame retardant performance of Japanese cypress(Chamaecyparis obtusa) plywood, commonly used in indoor decoration, furniture, and tableware, by treating it with three different fire retardants with different primary ingredients. The experiment was conducted in compliance with Article 31, Paragraph 2 of the Enforcement Decree of the Fire Facilities Installation and Management Act and Articles 4 and 7-2 of the Flame Retardant Performance Standards. After flame time, after glow time, char length, and char area were measured. As a result, first, after flame time was measured at 0 seconds regardless of whether the flame retardant treatment was applied. Second, after glow time was relatively long, measuring 22.7 seconds without treatment, which is likely due to the weak fire resistance and high concentration of carbon monoxide generated by the chemical characteristics of the Japanese cypress itself. Third, it was confirmed that the effects of the primary ingredient, phosphorus, in the flame retardant treatment varied depending on the technological development of the manufacturers of the same species of Japanese cypress plywood. In the future, it is expected that the results of this study will provide fundamental data to select flame retardant treatments that show high flame retardant performance according to the botanical characteristics of the wood.

Korea's pet-related society has been fast growing without the base and preparations of socio-cultural animal welfare. For the most part, Korea's current public parks, in particular, have a space structure in which a lot of friction between the general public who are not fond of dogs and dog owners in public places has been happening unavoidably. A lot of countries that are taking a lead role in animal welfare have built dog parte that the general public and dogs can enjoy together. This research starts with the realization that the concept of 'dog park' needs to be introduced in Korea as more and more Koreans own dogs and other pets. This research aims to provide guidance for dog park planning by drawing a dog park planning model and to promote basics for co-existence of dogs and people in a park and set in place animal welfare early and raise the level of awareness. Total 7 types of dog put 56 planning items including dog zone, dog playground, and agility, and a selective matrix by which it is possible to select essential recommendatory optional items by each type of dog park were drawn in this research. Overall there were the highest needs in separated area for dogs in park. A dog park planning model is designed as follows. 1) To select a dog park type that was introduced. 2) To set up facilities applicable in common and planning items desired in advance by each type. 3) To zone dog park areas by the priority order of planning items that were introduced and to position necessary facilities. 4) To plan program that should be were introduced. A dog park was expected to take some positive roles such as providing opportunities to socialize dogs, activating social communities, more effective park management by participating local community members and so on.

본 연구는 선행적 연구로서 주성분이 다른 방염도료별 방염성능의 효과 및 편차를 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. Oak 합판 및 주성분이 다른 방염도료 3종을 선정하여 「소방시설 설치 및 관리에 관한 법률 시행령」 제31조 제2항, 「방염대상물의 방염성능시험」 제7조의 2에 근거하여 합판의 방염성능측정을 실시하였다. 국내 법률 기준에 따라 합판의 방염성능을 측정하여 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 잔염시간, 잔신시간은 방염처리 유무와 상관없이 모두 0초로 측정되었다. 이는 Oak 합판이 참나무속 수종으로 제작되어 영향이 있을 것으로 추정한다. 둘째, 일반적으로 주성분이 다른 방염도료를 처리한 결과, 주성분에 따라 방염성능에 차이가 발생하였다. 실험 결과로 Oak 합판에 인계가 우수한 것으로 확인하였다. 셋째, 선행연구 및 본 연구의 결과를 토대로, 수종별 및 방염도료의 주성분과 구성 물질의 성분비에 따라 방염성능에 편차가 발생한다는 것을 확인하였다. 따라서, 다양한 수종을 대상으로 제조사별 방염도료의 주성분 및 구성 물질의 성분비에 따른 정량적 측정을 통한 방염성능의 효과를 비교하는 연구가 추가될 필요가 있다.
공초점 레이저 주사 현미경을 이용한 혈구 유동가시화 및 세포공핍층 측정에 관한 연구

In the present study, we employed the confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM) system to visualize the blood flow field with 1×1 ㎛² spatial resolution. Based on the confocal microscopic image of red blood cells (RBCs), we performed the velocity vector field measurement and evaluated characteristics of cell migration from the cell depleted layer thickness calculation. The rat and mouse's blood were supplied into a micro glass tubes in vitro. The line scanning rate of confocal microscopy was 15 ㎑ for a 500×500 pixels image. As a result, the red blood cell itself can be used as a tracer directly without any kind of invasive tracer particle to get the velocity vector field of blood flow by performing particle image velocimetry (PIV) technique.
