본문의 감성이 전달되는 시편 설교: 시편 설교 형태와 전달법 제안

Preaching that is faithful to the Bible conveys the biblical text. An expository sermon is a sermon that faithfully conveys the intention of the original author who recorded the text. Until now, expository sermons have tended to focus more on grasping and delivering the lessons and doctrinal lessons contained in the text. In the sermon, preachers tend to concentrate on the message contained in the text and Bible knowledge. However, to give a sermon faithful to the text, attention must be paid not only to the rational realm contained in the text but also to the emotional realm contained in the text. This is that the text of the Bible contains not only rational lessons but also emotional realms that give inspiration and emotion. Therefore, when the emotional impact of the text is included along with the spiritual message, it can be a balanced sermon that is faithful to the text of the Bible. This study intends to propose a preaching method for Psalms in which the message of the text and the emotions of the text are delivered in a balanced way. This study introduces and evaluates the history of Psalm preaching studies, considering the characteristics of the Bible genre, and introduces the main preaching elements to convey the message of the Psalms genre and the emotion of the Psalms text in Psalms sermons. In addition, the form of Psalms sermon and delivery skills can revive the emotions of the text. 성경에 충실한 설교는 성경 본문을 충실하게 전달한다. 강해설교는여러 종류의 설교 중 성경 본문을 기록한 원저자의 의도를 충실히 전달하려는 설교이다. 지금까지 강해설교는 본문에 담겨 있는 교훈과 교리적인 가르침을 파악하고 전달하는 데 더 집중하는 경향이 있었다. 설교중 본문이 담고 있는 메시지에 집중하여 성경 지식 전달에 좀더 치우치기도 했다. 하지만 본문에 충실한 설교를 하기 위해서는 본문이 담고있는 이성적인 영역뿐만 아니라 본문에 담겨 있는 감성적인 영역에도관심을 기울여야 한다. 성경 본문에는 이성적인 교훈과 함께 감동과 감흥을 주는 감성적인 영역도 함께 있기 때문이다. 따라서 영적 교훈과함께 본문이 담고 있는 감성적인 영역까지 포함될 때 비로소 성경 본문과 성경에 충실하면서도 균형 잡힌 설교라 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 본문의 메시지와 본문의 감성이 균형 있게 전달되는 시편설교 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 본 연구는 성경 장르의 특성을 고려한시편 설교 연구의 역사를 소개하여 평가하고, 시편 장르의 메시지와 시편 설교에서 시편 본문의 감성을 전달하기 위한 주요 설교 요소를 소개한다. 또한 본문의 감성이 살아날 수 있는 시편 설교의 형태와 전달을위해 고려할 부분을 간략히 제시한다.

본문이 살아나는 성경 봉독법

공중예배에서의 성경 봉독(Public Scripture Reading)은 초대 교회뿐 만 아니라 개혁교회의 전통에서 매우 중요한 순서이다. 하지만 현대의 편리주의와 엔터테인먼트(Entertainment) 문화가 예배에 영향을 주면 서 성경 봉독이 축소 또는 소홀히 되는 경향이 있다. 하지만 성경 봉독 을‘성경적으로, 신학적으로, 설교학적으로’고찰하여 볼 때 예배에 있 어서 매우 중요한 요소이다. 성경 봉독과 성경에 충실한 말씀 선포는 이분화되는 것이 아니라 동일 선상에서 진행되어야 한다. 본 연구는 한 국교회의 예배 중 성경 봉독의 중요성을 강조한다. 또한 본문이 살아나 게 하는 성경 봉독 방법의 준비와 실제적인 전달 방법을 소개한다. 효 과적인 성경 봉독이 이루어지기 위해서는 봉독자는 먼저 본문에 의도 된 의미와 들려지는 효과를 올바르게 이해할 필요가 있다. 봉독자는 본 문의 중심 단어, 중심 메시지, 장르, 주된 감정, 움직임 등을 파악할 필 요가 있다. 봉독자가 소리 내어 읽을 때는 발음, 소리크기, 높낮이, 봉 독 속도, 봉독 중 중지 등을 고려하여 읽어야 한다. 봉독자의 자세에 관 해서는 강대상에 입장하는 걸음걸이, 성경을 잡는 자세, 봉독자의 표 정, 청중과의 시선 접촉, 호흡 등을 고려해야 한다. Public Scripture reading is an important procedure in pubic worship service. In the early church and reformed church tradition it is altogether crucial. However modern day convenience entertainment culture causes scripture reading in worship to be reduced or neglected. With a reflection of Scripture reading biblically and theologically, it is such a valuable element in worship service. Scripture reading and scripture faithful sermon are not bisect areas but need to be treated equally. This study will emphasize the significant of Scripture reading in worship. More over, this study will introduce Scripture reading preparation and delivery method that makes the text alive. In order to make effective scripture readings, Scripture readers need to understand the intended meaning and aural effects in the Scripture. Scripture readers need to comprehend the central word of the text, a main idea of the text, the main emotion of the text, and the movement of the text. While they read a Scripture, they need to consider verbal delivery elements: pronouncement, volume, pitch, rate, and pause. Moreover they need to consider non-verbal elements: walk, grip, facial expression, breath, and eye-contact.

Topology Optimization on Vortex-type Passive Fluidic Diode for Advanced Nuclear Reactors

The vortex-type fluidic diode (FD) is a key safety component for inherent safety in various advancedreactors such as the sodium fast reactor (SFR) and the molten salt reactor (MSR). In this study, topologyoptimization is conducted to optimize the design of the vortex-type fluidic diode. The optimizationdomain is simplified to 2-dimensional geometry for a tangential port and chamber. As a result, a designwith a circular chamber and a restrictor at the tangential port is obtained. To verify the new design,experimental study and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis were conducted for inlet Reynoldsnumbers between 2000 and 6000. However, the results show that the performance of the new design isno better than the original reference design. To analyze the cause of this result, detailed analysis isperformed on the velocity and pressure field using flow visualization experiments and 3-D CFD analysis. The results show that the discrepancy between the optimization results in 2-D and the experimentalresults in 3-D originated from exclusion of an important pressure loss contributor in the optimizationprocess. This study also concludes that the junction design of the axial port and chamber offers potentialfor improvement of fluidic diode performance.

An Exegesis of Hebrews 12:1-3 : Emulate the Endurance of Jesus!

The book of Hebrews is one of the most esoteric books in Scripture. Throughout church history, numerous debates have occurred about the nature of this book. Despite the many debates over authorship, date, purpose, and form, the book of Hebrews clearly captures the plight and struggle of its first-century recipients. Heb 10:32-35 and Heb 12:1-13 show the despair of the audience who seems to have lost the assurance of their faith in the face of severe persecution. Since faithful endurance remains a relevant message for all Christians today, Heb 12:1-3 provides an apt message for those who need to persevere. Therefore this study does an exegesis to Hebrews 12:1-3 in order to find solid biblical lessons. A literary, grammatical, and syntactical analysis of Heb 12:1-3 reveals that the people of God should emulate Jesus, the epitome of faith. Jesus, the originator and perfector of salvation for the people of God, is the most significant model for this faith journey. Jesus persevered through tremendous pain on the cross by looking to God for his joy. After his unswerving commitment, he was exalted by God. Therefore, those who are on this journey of faith should focus on Jesus just as the witnesses in the previous generation did by focusing on the goal ahead, namely the person and character of Jesus Christ.

“Standing on the Promises” of the Scripture : W. A. Criswell’s Biblical Homiletics

미국 복음주의 기독교에서 남침례교는 보수주의 기독교 운동 에 가장 큰 영향을 주는 교단이다. W.A. 크리스웰(1909년 12월 19 일-2002년 1월 10일)은 남침례교단을 이끌었던 핵심 지도자로서 63년간의 사역 동안 많은 업적을 남기게 되었다. 칼빈주의 신학 을 가졌던 크리스웰은 1970년대와 80년대에 대표적인 설교자로 알려져 있다. 하지만, 무엇보다도 “풀은 마르고 꽃은 시드나 우리 하나님의 말씀은 영원히 서리라 하라(사 40장 8절, 개역개정)”의 성경구절은 그의 삶과 사역, 특히 성경말씀에 견고히 서있는 설 교자로의 모습을 잘 보여준다. 본 연구에서는 크리스웰의 설교상 황분석과 설교철학의 변화와 그의 신학적 선전제와 설교기술을 분석한다. Among American evangelicals, the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) is the most influential denomination for the conservative Christianity movement. W. A. Criswell (December 19, 1909-January 10, 2002) as a leading figure among Southern Baptists accomplished tremendous work in his sixty-three-years of ministry. His ministry became an icon of megachurch models in the seventies and eighties. Most of all, this Scripture reference-“The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand forever”(Isa 40:8) mirrors the life and ministry of Criswell, the preacher who stood firmly on the Word of God. Criswell is a patriarch of modern-day conservative Southern Baptists. Criswell, along with R. G. Lee and Leo Eddleman, struggled to keep the SBC adhering to conservative doctrines such as biblical centered ministry. This paper will demonstrate his homiletical contexts, his theological foundation, and lastly homiletical analysis.
