        방향성 결합구조의 음향파 도파로를 이용한 음향광학형 파장가변 광 필터의 부모드 억제에 관한 연구

        방향성 결합 구조의 음향파 도파로를 이용한 편광모드 변환형 파장가변 광 필터를 LiNbO$_3$ 와 Ti 이중 확산 공정기술을 이용하여 제작하였다. 균일 결합구조형 AOTF의 부모드의 크기를 두 음향파 도파로의 방향성 결합형 가중 결합 원리를 이용하여 8 dBwjd도 추가적으로 억제시킬 수 있었다. 1551.6mm 파장의 TE, TM 입사 편광모드와 173.58MHz, 17.78mW RF 구동신호각각에 대해서 -12.68dB 부모드 억압과 90% 변환효율이 측정되었다. 파장변화율과 통과 대역폭은 각각 8.86nm/ MHz, 1.7nm로 측정되었다. We have demonstrated a -8 dB additional reduction in the intensity sidelobe of an apodized-interaction-strength guide-wave acousto-optic filter with a center passband of 1551.6 nm. Acoustic-intensity weighting was achieved by launching a surface acoustic wave (SAW) beam in a straight acoustic waveguide, and gradually transferring this SAW intensity to the active device, and back out, by evanescent-wave coupling across a 50 !lm barrier over a 19 rom interaction length. The intensity sidelobe was -4.27 dB for an unapodized filter with abmpt onset and cutoff of the interaction, but sidelobes were reduced to at most -12.68 dB for a SAW intensity with raised-cosine weighting. The RF driving power was 17.78 mW. A linear tuning rate of 8.86 nmIMHz and a spectral width of -1.7 nm were demonstrated. rated.

        수온과 먹이생물의 농도 변화에 따른 재첩의 여과율 변동

        This study was undertaken with the intent to describe the influence of water temperature and food concentration on the filtration rates of the Asiatic clam, Corbicula fluminea. The clams were collected at Lake Geumho near Yeongsan river, during March 2001. Food organism, Scenedesmus sp. (KMCC FC-34), was indoor-cultured in f/2 medium, and was used to measure the filtration rate of the clams. Filtration rate of the clams was measured by indirect method. Cell concentrations of food organisms were determined by direct counting cells using the hemacytometer under the light microscope.The filtration rate of the clams increased with water temperature up to circa 25℃. Above this temperature, the filtration rate decreased rapidly. The minimal filtration rate of the clams was recorded at 5℃. Thermal coefficient, Q10 values at low temperature range were much higher than those at high temperature range. These results indicate the asiatic clam is more sensitive in cold water like most of marine bivalves. There was a strong reversed correlation between filtration rate and food concentration. Filtration rate of the clams was reduced as food concentration was increased. 본 연구는 수온 및 먹이생물 농도의 변화가 재첩의 여과율에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위하여 수행되었다. 실험에 사용된 재첩은 전남 목포시 영산강 금호호에서 채집하였으며, 먹이생물은 Scenedesmus sp.를 실내에서 배양하여 사용하였다. 여과율측정은 Coughlan (1969)의 간접측정법을 사용하였고 먹이생물의 농도는 광학현미경하에서 혈구계산판을 이용하여 직접 계수하였다. 각장 크기별 재첩의 여과율은 모두 수온이 증가할수록 여과율도 증가하였고 약 25 ℃ 부근에서 최대여과율이 나타났으며 25 ℃ 이상에서 대체적으로 급격한 감소를 보였다. 온도계수 Q10 값은 전반적으로 낮은 수온 범위 (5-15 ℃) 에서 높게 나타났으며, 이는 재첩의 여과활동은 낮은 수온 범위에서 더욱 민감하게 반응함을 의미한다. 먹이생물 농도별 재첩의 여과율은 먹이생물 농도 증가에 대해 전형적인 지수함수적 감소현상을 보였다. 낮은 농도 범위에서 농도증가에 대한 여과율 감소현상은 더욱 뚜렷하게 나타났으며 먹이 생물 농도가 일정 범위를 넘어서게 되면 완만하게 감소하거나 거의 일정한 여과율을 나타내었다.

        말백합의 연령별 여과율에 미치는 수온과 염분의 영향

        본 연구는 말백합, Meretrix petechialis의 기초 생리, 생태학적 정보를 파악하기 위한 일환으로 수온 및 염분의 변화가 이들의 여과율에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 파악하고자 수행되었다. 말백합은 전라북도 김제시 거전리 갯벌에서 채집하였고, 먹이생물은 Phaeodactylum tricornutum(KMCC B-128)을 실내에서 단일종 배양하여 사용하였으며, 여과율 측정은 Coughlan(1969)의 간접측정법을 사용하였다. 먹이생물의 농도는 혈구계산판을 이용하여 광학현미경하에서 직접 계수하였다. 전체적인 실험과정은 Shin and Lim(2003)과 동일하였다. 수온별 말백합의 여과율 변동의 경우 연령에 관계없이 $25-30^{\circ}C$에서 대체적으로 높은 여과율을 나타내었고, 전반적으로 $5^{\circ}C$에서 최소 여과율을 나타내는 경향이었다. 염분별 말백합의 여과율 변동의 경우 전반적으로 20-35 psu의 염분구간에서 비교적 높은 여과율을 나타내는 경향이었다. 연령별 여과율 변동의 경우 대체적으로 연령이 낮을수록 건중량당 여과율은 상대적으로 높은 경향이었다. $Q_{10}$ 값의 경우 전반적으로 낮은 수온 구간($5-15^{\circ}C$)에서 높은 값을 나타내는 경향이었다. This study was performed to describe the influence of water temperature and salinity on the filtration rate of the hard clam, Meretrix petechialis. The filtration rates of hard clams showed significant differences depending on both water temperature and age group (two-way ANOVA, p < 0.001). The filtration rate of all the hard clams, aged from 1 to 4 years, was generally reduced in low temperature range ( $5-15^{\circ}C$). As the water temperature increased, the filtration rate increased exponentially. The filtration rate was relatively high in $20-30^{\circ}C$ water temperature range, but rapidly decreased again at around $35^{\circ}C$. Variations in the data for filtration rates of hard clams, relative to age and changing water temperature, were used to determine the temperature coefficient $Q_{10}$ in each water temperature range. In $5-15^{\circ}C$ temperature range, every age group showed the highest $Q_{10}$ figure. It was found that on the whole, the higher the water temperature was, the lower the number of $Q_{10}$ was. Regardless of age, the number of $Q_{10}$ was higher in the lower water temperature range. In $25-35^{\circ}C$ temperature range, the number of $Q_{10}$ was less than 1.00 in all age groups, implying that this is the range in which the filtration rate decreased. Variations in the filtration rate also showed very clear differences (two-way ANOVA, p < 0.001) according to changing salinity and age. All the age groups, from 1 to 4 year olds, showed low filtration rates at both low salinity (10-15 psu) and high salinity (40 psu). The highest filtration rate was recorded at 30 psu, and relatively high filtration rates were found around 30 psu. However, the Student-Newman-Keuls post hoc multiple comparison test found that the hard clams in the 1-year group showed high filtration rates in a relatively narrower salinity range compared to those in the 2, 3, and 4 year groups. In other words, hard clams in the 2, 3, and 4 year groups showed high filtration rates at higher levels of salinity.

        Proposing a Scoring System for the Research Criteria of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome

        This study evaluated the structure of complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) population and suggested a weighted scoring system to balance on objective signs. One hundred sixtyeight consecutive patients were evaluated using the Budapest Research Criteria (BRC). By using multidimensional scaling and logistic regression analysis, we analyzed the degree of importance and relationships between objective findings. In addition, a receiver operating characteristic curve was constructed using a weighted score derived from the risk ratio as a diagnostic test. There were correlations between skin color change and edema,and between decreased range of motion and motor dysfunction when multidimensional scaling was applied. The trophic change was excluded by a logistic regression (95% CI;0.80-11.850). The cutoff point based on weighted score derived from the risk ratios for determining CRPS was 7.88. At this point, the sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive value were 75.0%, 95.3%, 96.3%, and 70.1%, respectively. We propose a weighted scoring system for the BRC using risk ratios of objective signs. Although a thorough systematic review would be required in the future, this study can contribute to reduction of the possible distortion of the feature of CRPS populations by the BRC.
