Purpose: Various electrocardiogram (ECG) changes can occur in patients with acute organophosphate poisoning (OPP) and may be associated with the clinical severity of poisoning. The present study aimed to evaluate the extent and frequency of ECG changes and cardiac manifestations, and their association with acute OPP clinical severity. Methods: Seventy-two adult patients admitted to our emergency department with a diagnosis of acute OPP were studied retrospectively. ECG changes and cardiac manifestations at admission were evaluated. ECG changes between respiratory failure (RF) group and no respiratory failure (no RF) groups were compared. Results: Prolongation of QTc interval (n=40, 55.6%) was the most common ECG change, followed by sinus tachycardia (n=36, 50.0%). ST-T wave changes such as ST segment elevation or depression and T wave change (inversion or non-specific change) were evident in 16 patients (22.2%). Prolongation of QTc interval was significantly higher in the RF group compared with the no RF group (p=0.03), but was not an independent predictor for RF in acute OPP (OR; 4.00, 95% CI; 0.70-23.12, p=0.12). Conclusion: While patients with acute OPP can display ECG changes that include prolongation of QTc interval, sinus tachycardia, and ST-T wave changes at admission, these changes are not predictors of respiratory failure.

ATM망은 광전송을 바탕으로 하는 고속 통신망으로서 망자원 이용의 효율성 증대와 다양한 서비스에 적절한 QOS를 보장하기 위해서 고도의 트래픽 제어가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 ATM의 여러 가지 트래픽 제어 중에서 셀 단위의 예방 제어 기법으로 알려져 있는 사용 파라메터 제어(UPC)에 대해서 연구하고, 기존에 연구된 UPC알고리즘으로서 LB(Leaky Bucket)나 JW(Jumping Window)의 단점인 버스트 구간 및 평균 비트율 위반에 대한 둔감성을 개선하는 새로운 UPC알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안된 알고리즘의 성능 분석을 위해서 LB및 JW와 비교하며 감시의 정확성이 상당히 개선됨을 시뮬레이션을 통해서 보인다.

3D 게임은 사용자가 바라보는 시점과 시야를 자유롭게 조종할 수 있어서 2D게임에 비해 현실감과 몰입성이 뛰어나다. 3D 온라인 게임에서 사용자의 시점과 시야는 카메라의 위치와 카메라 렌즈의 화각인 FOV(Field of View)에 의해 결정된다. FOV는 단순한 기술적인 요소이지만 어떻게 적용되는가에 따라 화면왜곡의 양상이 달라지며 게임의 몰입성에 많은 영향을 주고, 일부 게임 사용자에게는 멀미와 같은 신체적인 부작용을 발생시키기도 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 동일하게 모델링된 데이터에 대해 FOV 값을 조절하여 렌더링한 결과와 실제 게임에 구현된 FOV의 사례를 분석하여 3D 게임 개발을 위한 적합한 FOV 결정 방향을 제시하였다. Since 3D gamers can control points of view and field of view freely, 3D games generate high realities and immersions. On most of 3D games, a point of view and a field of view are determined by positions and FOV(field of view) of camera. Although FOV is a simple technical factor, it leads to graphics distortion and affects immersion of the game and causes some garners to get physical sickness. Therefore, we will suggest the instruction to operate FOVs in many 3D games by examining and analysing various rendering results with control of FOV and real cases of FOV in published games with same 3D modeling environments.
인터넷 중독 위험 남자 청소년의 기질성격특성 : 7년의 변화경향

Objectives : This study attempted to compare findings of two studies (internet use, temperament & character profiles and mood) on internet addiction, which had been performed in 2005 and 2012. Methods : Two cross-sectional studies surveyed using a self-report questionnaire on internet usage pat-tern, Temperament and Character Inventory (TCI) and Beck depression inventory (BDI). The earlier study included 213 male middle school students in 2005, and the latter study included 400 male middle school students in 2012. We compared the prevalence rates and patterns in temperament, character and depressive severity of internet addiction risk group between the two surveys separated by seven years. Results : The prevalence of high-risk internet addiction was 77% in 2005 and 42.1% in 2012. The addiction risk group had higher scores for harm avoidance (HA) and BDI with lower scores for reward dependence (RD), self-directedness (SD), and cooperativeness (CO), compared to the non-addicted group in 2005. The addiction risk group showed higher novelty seeking (NS), HA, and BDI scores with lower RD, persistence (P), SD and CO scores, compared to the non-addicted group in 2012. Conclusion : Our results suggested that prevalence of internet addiction has de-creased among adolescents in Korean, but the temperament and character of adolescents with internet addiction seems to have adopted patterns similar to those of substance-based addictions.

An Adaptive Usage Parameter Control(UPC) mechanism using a Variable Token Pool(VTP) which is a kind of preventive traffic control in the Asynchronous Transfer Mode(ATM) networks is described. The VTP mechanism can monitor violations of the average bit rate and burst duration as well as peak bit rate for the ON-OFF type traffic. The VTP can vary the token pool size by monitoring burst duration and silence duration for a long term. It also improves the sensitivity against the violation of burst duration and average bit rate and enables to response for the violating traffic situation quickly. The variable token pool size is varied in step size by every burst duration and silence duration. Two important parameters for controlling token pool size are Down_size and Up_size.

현재 모바일 학습 서비스의 제공 방법은 실시간으로 방대한 양의 콘텐츠를 무선 패킷으로 제공받음으로써 사용자는 전송 속도 문제와 과다한 무선 데이터 사용으로 인해 높은 통신 요금의 문제점을 가진다. 본 논문에서는 이 러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 모바일 기기와 시리얼 통신을 통해 하드웨어 형태로 정보제공이 가능한 새로운 형식 의 모바일 학습 시스템을 구축하는 방안을 제안한다. The existing mobile learning service is the method that provides data packets in real time. It has some problems of much data packet cost and delay to provide the mobile learning service. In this paper, to solve the problems, we suggest to implementation of the mobile learning system of the new method using serial communication.
