        MBR 공정에서 CODcr 부하에 따른 막의 여과저항 변화와 세정효과

        The research evaluated an effect on the membrane fouling with passive adsorption and permeability resistance according to the relatively low CODcr loading rates(0.13, 0.27 and 0.40kgCODcr/m2/day), and investigated the recovery rate of permeability by rinsing, backwashing and chemical cleaning and EPS(Extracellular polymeric substances) concentration within a reactor in submerged membrane bioreactor. As a result, high CODcr loading rate accelerated the membrane fouling, and the increase of foulants(protein and carbohydrate) affected the membrane fouling rather than the MLSS. The increased permeability resistance was completely recovered by rinsing within 14 days from the beginning, however, the chemical cleaning was much proportion for the resistance recovery after 21 days. Thus the chemical cleaning could achieve an important role as the MBR process would continuously operate. Also, the concentrations of protein and carbohydrate in eEPS was higher than thoes in sEPS, we found that protein and carbohydrate was mainly adhisive on the surface of microbe.

        MBR 공정에서 포기방법에 따른 막오염 특성

        This study investigated the characteristics of the membrane fouling according to aeration conditions between continuous aeration and intermittent aeration estimating the permeability resistance on the passive adsorption. It also examined the concentration of eEPS and sEPS to find out the recovery rate of membrane after cleaning methods(physical and chemical cleaning). EPS (Extra Polymeric Substances) was mainly reported as membrane foulants, especially like protein and carbohydrate etc. EPS is classified eEPS (extracted EPS) and sEPS (soluble EPS). As the result, the permeability resistance of the continuous aeration is steeply increased compared to the intermittent aeration, because long aeration time led to the production of the much membrane foulants. Even though the COD loads were the same in two conditions, the EPS concentration of continuous aeration was higher than intermittent aeration. Also, sEPS concentration is getting increased as the operation continued, because membrane foulants was in the soluble state separated from the microbe. Therefore, we found that prolonged time of aeration could led to high EPS concentration by promoting the growth of biological metabolism, and the rise of EPS deteriorated membrane permeability.

        막결합 간헐포기공정에서의 SRT와 C/N비에 따른 공정 자동제어

        본 연구에서는 막결합 간헐포기공정에서의 SRT와 C/N비 변화시에 하나의 cycle내 ORP와 DO곡선의 변화와 NH<sub>4</sub><sup>+</sup>-N과 NO<sub>3</sub><sup>-</sup>-N 농도를 비교함으로써 막결합 간헐포기공정의 자동제어를 위한 적정 운영인자에 대한 가능성을 검토하고자 하였다. SRT 20day, 30day, 40day의 경우, 호기조건의 질산화 종료시점은 DO보다는 ORP 곡선과 밀접한 연관성을 가지고 있었으며, 무산소조건의 탈질 종료시점은 나타나지 않았다. C/N비 4.5, 7, 10에서의 질산화 종료시점 또한 ORP 굴곡점과 같은 시간에 나타났으며, 탈질 종료시점은 C/N비 10에서만 나타났는데 탈질종료시점과 같은 시점에 ORP의 경우 굴곡점이 나타난 반면 DO 곡선에는 변화가 없어 질산화종료시점과 마찬가지로 탈질종료시점도 ORP 곡선과 밀접한 연관성을 갖고 있었다. 따라서, 막결합 간헐포기공정의 자동제어는 DO 보다는 ORP 곡선을 이용하는 것이 적절할 것으로 판단된다. The purpose of this study was to inquire into the proper factor for the auto control of the process, as it compared ORP and DO curves with the variation of NH<sub>4</sub><sup>+</sup>-N and NO<sub>3</sub><sup>-</sup>-N concentration in a cycle. In the results to be operated in SRT 20day, 30day and 40day, the nitrification ending point coincided with ORP bending point in the aerobic state, however, the denitrification ending point wasn`t revealed in the anaerobic state. In the results to be operated in C/N 4.5, 7 and 10, the nitrification ending point appeared with ORP bending point at the same time. Also, the denitrification ending point presented at C/N ratio 10, then ORP bending point coincided with the ending point, on the other hand, DO curve wasn`t changed. Therefore, the ORP curve was more appropriate factor than DO for the auto control of IAMBR.

        막결합 간헐포기공정에서의 SRT와 C/N비에 따른 질산화율, 탈질율 및 질소물질수지

        The purpose of this study was to find out the mass balance of the nitrgen removal, as it investigated the rate of nitrification and denitrification. The operation conditions were SRT of 20, 25, 30 and 40days at first stage and C/N ratios of 4.5, 7 and 10 at second stage. In the results to be operated at SRT variation, the rate of nitrification and denitrification was a little difference among SRT conditions, and permeated nitrogen mass were 201.6g/d, 212.4g/d, 208.8g/d and 188.4g/d at SRT of 20, 25, 30 and 40days, respectively. Thus, nitrogen compound was less outflowed at SRT of 40days. In the variation of C/N ratios of 4.5, 7 and 10, the nitrogen removal at C/N ratios of 7 and 10 was better than C/N 4.5, the denitrificated mass of C/N 7 and 10 was 409.2g/d and 439.2g/d respectively. Accordingly, permeated nitrogen mass were 202.8g/d, 58.8g/d and 28.8g/d at C/N ratios of 4.5, 7 and 10, respectively, thus nitrogen removal rates at C/N ratios of 7 and 10 were superior to C/N ratio of 4.5. The high COD loading led to the sufficient supply of the substrate for the denitrification.

      • MBR 공정에서 포기방법에 따른 막오염과 여과저항 변동에 관한 연구

        This study was aimed at examining comparatively the membrane fouling and permeability resistance caused by continous aeration and intermittent aeration in the MBR process. The results are as follows ; When the methods of aeration differ, the cast of membrane fouling and permeability resistance of continous aeration is greater than that of intermittent aeration and the concentration of EPS(Extracellular Polymeric Substances) is higher. In all operation conditions, within the reaction tank the concentration of eEPS is higher than that of sEPS because of the existence of protein and carbohydrate sticked to microbes.

      • 약품교반시험을 이용한 응집 공정에서 알루미늄 이온의 물질수지 분석

        This paper analyzes the mass balance of Aluminum ion using jar test by changing the does of coagulant. The results are as follows; The result of Jar test after dosing the coagulant shows that the recovery rate of total aluminum ion in filtrate and sediment are 93.4-106.8% in case of PAHCS and 9.2-103.2% in case of PAC when compared to dosage. By increasing the dose of coagulant from 0.5ml to 2.5ml, the ratio of residual aluminum ion of filtrate is 23.8-1.3% in case of PAHCS and 39.1-0.3% in case of PAC after the Jar test. As a result, the ratio of residual aluminum ion decreases and its ratio in sediment increases by increasing the dose of coagulant. Both for PAHCS and PAC, the residual aluminum ion of filtrate is the lowest when dosing 2.3ml and pH is stabilized at 6.9-7.0.
