A method for isolation and qantitative determination of anemarsaponin B from the rhizomes of Anemarrhena asphodeloides has been developed. Isolation of anemarsaponin B was achieved by silica gel and RP-18 column chromatography. The HPLC method for quantitative determination of anemarsaponin B provided a method for standardization of the crude drug. It suggested that the content of anemarsaponin B in Anemarrhena asphodeloides is about 0.12-1.48%.

Geniposide, an iridoid glucoside, was isolated from the cortex of Eucommia ulmoides by repealed silica gel chromography and identified by its spectral data. The quantitative determination of geniposide with HPLC has been developed and this method provided a tool for standardization of the commercial Eucommiae Cortex.

Novel Hybrid Molecules of Epinastine and Mefenamic Acid for Bioactive Assessment as Potential Anti-inflammatory Agents

A set of novel epinastine (1) and mefenamic acid (2) hybrids (3?7) tethered via amide bond were designed and synthesized with the artistry of molecular hybridization. Then their inhibitory effect on nitric oxide (NO) production in LPS-induced RAW-264.7 macrophages and the expression levels of prostaglandin (PG) synthesis regulatory genes were evaluated in vitro. All the hybrids were found to have remarkable NO production inhibitory potential with IC50 values ranging in between 27.69?±?3.06 and 40.19?±?5.52??M without notable cytotoxicity (CC50?≥?100??M) except 6. Comparing the inhibitory effects, cytotoxicity and in vitro efficacy index (iEI), 4 (IC50 = 32.09?±?4.04??M; iEI = 6.23) and 7 (IC50 = 27.69?±?3.06??M; iEI = 6.40) were better suited than other hybrids as well as their parent compounds EH and MA. This outcome was further harmonized with the reduced microsomal prostaglandin E synthase-1 expression and unaltered housekeeping COX-1 expression by hybrids 4 and 7 treatment. Altogether, our findings signify that hybrids 4 and 7 may serve as platforms for continued investigations for the development of more efficient anti-inflammatory agents.

이 논문의 1부에서는, 곱셈꼴 잡음과 일차 마르코프 덧셈꼴 잡음으로 손상된 약한 신호를 검파할 수 있는 검정 통계량을 얻었다. 이제, 이 2부에서는 이를 바탕으로 여러 검파기의 점근 상대 효율 및 유한 표본 크기 성능을 얻고 견준다. 검파 성능을 처음 뜻한 만큼 내려면 간섭끼리의 의존성을 생각해야 함을 보인다. In Part 1 of this paper, the test statistics are obtained for detecting weak known signals in observations corrupted by multiplicative and first-order Markov additive noise. In this second part, the asymptotic and finite sample-size performance of several detectors are obtained and compared based on the test statistics. From the performance comparisons, it is confirmed that the dependence among interference components need to be taken into account to maintain the detection performance.

이제까지 국소 최적 검파를 다룬 연구들에서는 대부분 관측을 독립이라 두었다. 독립 관측 모형에서 얻은 검파기는 의존성 잡음 성분이 있는 현대 고속 통신 시스템에서 성능이 쾌 떨어질 수 있다. 이 논문의 1부에서는 곱셈 꼴 잡음과 일차 마르코프 덧셈꼴 잡음이 일어나는 환경에서 알려진 약한 신호를 검파할 때 알맞은 검정 통계량을 자세히 살펴본다. 이어, 2부에서는 여러 검파기의 점근 성능과 유한 표본 크기 성능을 얻고 서로 견주어 보며, 성능을 가장 좋게 하려면 간섭끼리의 의존성을 생각하여 검파기를 꾸며야 함을 보인다. In most of the studies on locally optimum detection assumes independent observations. The use of an independent observation model may cause a considerable performance degradation in detection applications of modern high data rate communication systems exhibiting dependence among interference components. In this paper, we address the detection of weak known signals in multiplicative and first order Markov additive noises. In Part 1, the test statistics of the locally optimum detectors are investigated in detail. In Part 2, the asymptotic and finite sample-size performance of several detectors are obtained and compared, confirming that the dependence among interference components need to be taken into account to maintain performance appropriately.

In the current paper, by extending Verall (1990)'s work, we propose a new Bayesian model for analyzing run-off triangle data. While Verall's (1990) work only account for the calendar year and evolvement time effects, our model further accounts for the "absolute time" effects. We also suggest a Markov Chain Monte Carlo method that can be used for estimating the proposed model. We apply our proposed method to analyzing three empirical examples. The results demonstrate that our method significantly reduces prediction error when compared with the existing methods. 본 논문은 삼각 분할표 자료의 예측문제에 있어 Verrall (1990)의 발생연도효과와 경과년도효과만 있는 베이지안 선형모형을 절대연도효과가 있는 모형으로 확장한 모형을 제시하고 이에 대한 추정 방법으로 마르코프 연쇄 몬테칼로 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 모형과 추정 방법은 세 가지 실제 예를 통하여 기존의 방법들에 비해서 일반적으로 작은 상대 예측오차를 제공함을 보였다.

이청준 동화의 특징과 아동문학적 가치 -전래동화 채록의 의미 해석을 중심으로-

이청준은 90년대 중반부터 판소리동화와 전래동화를 발표하기 시작하였다. 거대서사에 대한 불신이 증폭된 시기이자 포스트모더니즘 사조와 다양한 소비문화가 대중의 일상과 의식을 지배하기 시작한 시기인 90년대 중반에 작가가 동화에 관심을 기울이게 된 것은 근대적 합리주의 이전의 세계를 복원하려는 의지를 구체화한 것으로 보인다. 동화라는 장르 자체는 근대성의 산물이지만 이청준의 전래동화는 어린이의 정체성이나 동화문법을 충분히 고려하기보다는 구전의 의미와 가치를 환기시키는 데에 주력하였으며 동화의 내용 전개에 있어서도 지혜나 미담을 강조하여 전통사회의 윤리적 덕목을 재생시키고자 하였다. 특히 이청준의 전래동화는 개작보다는 채록에 역점을 두었다. 말의 타락이 심각한 수준에 달한 90년대에 이청준은 순결한 말을 모색하는 과정에서 자신이 유년 시절에 들은 옛이야기를 복원하기 시작한 것이다. 또한 이청준은 전래동화의 보급을 통해 삶의 유전적 정서를 되살리고자 하였다. 우화소설 『인문주의자 무소작 씨의 종생기』에 등장하는 꽃씨 할머니 이야기는 기교를 절제한 원초적 상태를 상징하는 것으로, 꽃씨 할머니가 꽃씨를 뿌리고 다니는 행위는 삶의 유전적 정서가 담긴 옛이야기의 유포방식으로 해석된다. 이청준의 전래동화 작업은 궁극적으로 게마인샤프트를 지향하는데, 게마인샤프트는 접촉성과 친밀성을 전제로 하고 구성원 상호간의 양해와 용서를 질서의 동력으로 삼는다는 점에서 작가가 기왕의 작품에서 꾸준히 구상해 온 대안적 공간들과 동질적이다. Lee Chung-jun began introducing pansori children`s books and children`s folk tales in the mid 1990s. Lee Chung-jun paid attention to create children`s books in the 1990s in which a consumption culture began to rule the ordinary lives and consciousnesses of the public, and it seems that he concretized his will to restore the world which existed prior to modern rationalism. The genre of children`s books is the product of modernity, but the children`s folk tales by Lee Chung-jun focused on arousing the meaning and value of oral tradition rather than satisfactorily considering the identity of children or grammar in children`s books, and also tried to revive the ethical virtue of traditional society by emphasizing wisdom or moving stories. In particular, children`s folk tales by Lee Chung-jun emphasized recording in existing stories rather than rewriting them. In the 1990s when there appeared to be a severe deterioration in the language, Lee Chung-jun began to restore old stories he heard in his childhood in the process of searching for ``pure words``. Also, he attempted to revive the hereditary emotion of life through the distribution of children`s folk tales. In <Humanist, Musojak`s life story>, the act of scattering flower seeds by the flower seed granny is interpreted to be an act of disseminating old stories that contain the hereditary emotion of life. His work on children`s folk tales ultimately inspires Gemeinschaf, and Gemeinschaft is homogeneous to alternative spaces that he had consistently devised in existing works in that Gemeischaft considers the understanding and forgiveness among its members as the driving force of public order.

이청준 판소리동화에 나타난 판소리의 변형과 보존 양상

Lee Cheong-jun had oneself independent literary world. He adopted the organization of narrative called ‘Stratified structure’. But He recreated Pansori into a fairy tale in the mid-1990s. Fairy tale consists of simple plot, simple character and concise sentences. Therefore he gave up his literary personality to write the Pansori fairy tales. He were trying to pass on literary tradition through the Pansori fairy tales. But Lee Cheong-jun’s Pansori fairy tales did not preserve the tradition intact because he made reference a block book of Sinjaehyo. He adapted a block book of Sinjaehyo to match Child’s identity. He has enhanced tragic aesthetic to emphasize the subject in 〈Singcheong-ga〉 and 〈Chunhyang-ga〉. Also, he was removed a critical consciousness about social in 〈Sugung-ga〉. Nevertheless, Lee Cheong-jun’s Pansori fairy tales are an important value because realistic hope was realized by using fantasy. In 〈Heungbu-ga〉 〈Onggojip-taryeong〉, a punishment is a prerequisite of enlightenment. In other words, a fantasy is a prerequisite of initiation.

이청준 소설에 나타난 숭고의 미학

As 『In Search of Lost Words』 『The Person from Namdo』 series trace the meaning of an unreasonable and invisible world, we have to examine its artistic effects from the perspective of sublime. In his novel, 『In Search of Lost Words』, the author gets to experience the sublime through the extreme separation of the signifier and signified. And in 「Floating Words」, the main character realizes the revenge of words with the event of telephone lines crossed. The impact on ordinary life causes confusion and terror. And this forms a decisive chance to see the world itself in that ordinary life. 「Talking in the Nightmare」 reveals the ugliness of rumor. Rumor, the words with no ground, causes primitive terror and lets us experience the sublime. In 『The Person from Namdo』, the author attempts to express what cannot be expressed to show the sublime. And the sublime regards the essence of the world as chaos. Lee Cheong Jun helps us to meditate on the invisible world through Pansori and also the clear image reflected on a blind woman’s eyes. The sublime is aesthetic experience of which subject is an appreciator. Lee Cheong Jun novels’ multi-layered structure and open ending let readers have an attitude to be self-reflective and become the creator of the sublime.

이청준 소설을 통해 본 그로테스크와 숭고 -『소문의 벽』,「괴상한 버릇」,「가면의 꿈」을 중심으로-

이청준의 작품은 대체로 난해하고 기괴하다는 인상을 준다. 기이한 행동을 보여주는 인물들이 등장하거나 예술적인 삶과 세속적인 삶, 아름다움과 추함, 삶과 죽음 등의 양면적 요소가 해소되지 않은 채 충돌하는 양상을 보이기도 한다. 이는 작가가 현실의 부조리를 작품에 반영하고자 하기 때문이다. 이 점을 염두에 두고, 이 연구에서는 소재와 인물구성, 창작시기 등의 연관성을 고려하여 『소문의 벽』 「가면의 꿈」「괴상한 버릇」을 대상으로 그로테스크와 숭고의 감정을 고찰하였다. 「가면의 꿈」에서 명식이 변장을 하고, 「괴상한 버릇」에서 주인공이 죽은 척을하고, 『소문의 벽』에서 박준이 미친 척을 하는 등의 기행에는 현실과 허구, 삶과 죽음, 이성과 광기가 혼재되어 있다. 이러한 그로테스크한 상황을 통해 인물들은 일상의 질서를 뒤집는 생의 심연을 경험하게 된다. 한편, 주인공의 행동을 관찰하는 「괴상한 버릇」의 ‘아내’, 「가면의 꿈」의 ‘지연’과 『소문의 벽』의 ‘나’에 의해 가면, 가수면, 광기와 같은 위장된 사물화는 현실의 압력에 대응하려는 초월의지의 표현으로 해석된다. 주인공들의 공포와 고통은 관찰자들의 객관적이고 이성적인 관조에 의해 숭고한 감정으로 전화된다. Lee Cheong-jun’s works seem esoteric and grotesque. There are characters involved in strange deeds, or double-sided elements such as art and secularity, beauty and ugliness, and life and death often collide in the works. It is because the writer intends to reflect absurdity in reality in his works. Keeping this in mind, this researcher attempts to consider relations between subject matters, characters arranged, and periods of creation, in order to examine grotesque or noble sentiments found in The Wall of Gossiping, The Dream of a Mask, or The Strange Habit. In The Dream of a Mask, Myeong-sik disguised, and in The Strange Habit, the main character pretends to be dead. Also, in The Wall of Gossiping, Pak Jun acts insane. In these peculiar deeds, reality and fiction, life and death, and rationality and madness mingle. With such grotesque behavior, the characters get to experience what is psychological abyss. With the wife in The Strange Habit observing what the main character does, Ji-yeon in The Dream of a Mask, and I in The Wall of Gossiping, however, disguised objects such as the mask, trance, and insanity for disguise are interpreted as the expression of will for transcendence to cope with the pressure of reality. The main characters’ terror and pain come to be converted to noble sentiment by the observers’ objective and rational contemplation.
