The purpose of this study was to compare the retentive force of cast half round circumferential clasps, cast round circumferential clasps and wrought wire clasps on three different depths of undercut(10G,20G.30G), and to determine the proper amount of undercut for cast round circumferential clasp. Three different lower second premolar crowns were cast and each of clasp was made. Each of clasp affixed to the different types of clasp. Their retentive forces were measured with universal testing machine. The results were as follows : 1. When the depth of undercut was same, the greatest retentive force was exerted by cast half round circumferential clasp, followed by cast round - 33 - circumferential clasp and wrought wire clasp. 2. The degree of variation amount of retentive force according to depth of undercut was greatest for cast round circumferential clasp. 3. Not only elastic deformation but also permanent deformation of the retentive arm was observed after insertion and removal of the clasp. The results of this study show that the retentive force of cast round circumferential clasp falls between those of cast half round circumferential clasp and wrought wire clasp, and suggest that a 20G undercut is suitable for ensuring an appropriate degree of the retentive force.

The problem is whether we should have a positive or negative view on the foreign capital attempting to engage in hostile M&A with domestic businesses. But currently in our capital market, there is less investment capital which is direct investment while the venture capital is in a rapid increase. Therefore, in a long term, it is expected to have a negative effect on our capital market as well as on the national economy. Hence, there must be a appropriate diversionary provision for foreign venture capital. Some of the things discussed for the defense action for the rights of management are introduction of various defensive measures, defense action through stock system reform, and management defense system reform related to Antitrust Law. Along with these problems of introducing the management defense action, the morality of the board of directors who actually decide the management defense action need to be examined. The decision either to be taken over through a friendly negotiation with the intention of the accepting business or to go through the hostile M&A is entirely made by the board of directors of the business. However, in the case the board of directors refuse to be taken over and also fight against the hostile M&A, if the decision of the board of directors is not in the best interest of the business or the stockholders, the board of directors is in danger of being accused by the stockholders. In other words, although the existing board of directors and the controlling stockholders manage the rights of management defense, if the board of directors defend the rights of management by bringing loss to the stockholders and business associates cannot be justified. Having these problems, the careful discussion on whether the selected defense action is to benefit the business and stockholders or to benefit the board of directors themselves should be progressed.

The purpose of the paper is to present merchandising strategy for U-Eco City, which is the city of world’s first concept newly developed through merging a world class high level of IT with the technology of ecological urban development. In order to accomplish this study’s purpose at first, this paper analyzes product characteristics of U-Eco City. In addition, according to the result of analyzing the product characteristics of U-Eco City, merchandising strategies and U-Eco City’s brand logo & symbol are proposed. Secondly, for consistently creating value-added by exporting U-Eco City to the world, the paper suggests another merchandising Strategies such as 1) value added strategy through platform construction and 2) brand building strategy of UEco City for achieving customer’s trust.
