Although virtual reality technology may not be deemed as having a satisfactory quality for all users, it tends to incite interest because of the expectation that the technology can allow one to experience something that they may never experience in real life. The most important aspect of this indirect experience is the provision of immersive 3D audio and video, which interacts naturally with every action of the user. The immersive audio faithfully reproduces an acoustic scene in a space corresponding to the position and movement of the listener, and this technology is also called spatial audio. In this paper, we briefly introduce the trend of spatial audio technology in view of acquisition, analysis, reproduction, and the concept of MPEG-I audio standard technology, which is being promoted for spatial audio services.

Recently, according to the rapid development of display, many display applications, such as, cellular phone, navigation, monitor and LCD TV have been changed from CRT type to LCD type. BLU(Back Light Unit) is one of main parts in LCD unit and, generally, it consists of a light source, a reflective sheet, a LGP(Light Guide Plate), a diffuser sheet, and two prism sheets. The most important component of BLU is light guide plate, which diffuses the input to the TFT-LCD module uniformly. The LGP is usually made by injection molding process, and it has numerous optical micro using the UV-LiGA process. And the replication characteristics have been compared among four different kinds of injection molding process; conventional injection molding(CIM), injection/compression molding(ICM), Rapid Heating and Cooling Molding(RHCM), Rapid Injection/Compression Molding(RICM). Average replication ratios of CIM and ICM were 42.0% and 63.2%, respectively. On the other hand, average replication ratio of RHCM and RICM process showed much higher value of 98.6% than CIM and ICM. Finally, maintaining the mold surface above Tg could increase the replication ratio of micro patterns substantially for the cases of both RHCM and RICM.

This paper represents solenoid design of control valve for incline angle control in variable compressor. Some theoretical and numerical analysis were performed to analyse solenoid and compared with experimental results. Maxwell program was used for numerical analysis. Through redesigns of housing body, plunger, core, and disk in control valve, the needed force was gotten. Reduction of core groove and housing body air-gap had a large influence on magnetic force. But increasing of disk thickness had little effect on magnetic force. Control valve efficiency could be improved through solenoid redesign.
